I so wish I had read the reviews of MLBshop.com before I decided to order a few ball caps from them. What a joke and a downright scam. Are these people actually affiliated with the MLB? They charged me $11 for 3 day shipping an handling and I haven't seen anything from them and its been two weeks. One star is way more than they deserve
This is my first and last experience with this shop. The representatives do not listen! Never again!
Shipping service was awful, 12-days after my order, I still had no product and it was being shipped (FedEx lost the shioment) from a facility only 3-hours from my house. Will NEVER ORDER FROM MLBSHOP AGAIN.
I paid extra for 2-day shipping. Not only has it been a week (and still not delivery) but the tracking from lasership does not work. I sent an email and I received an auto reply saying they will get back to me in 48 hours. This is absolutely awful! Go elsewhere!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Placed an order site said free shipping, wS automatically upgraded to two-day shipping and charged for it! Tried live chat, no good, tried calling customer support (11) times in two days, got busy signal every time! Did I mention HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!? HORRIBLE! WI NEVER DEAL WITH THIS SITE AGAIN.
I placed an order on this website twice. The first time, I hadn't noticed whether there was a confirmation that my order was placed, and I couldn't find a confirmation in my email, thinking I might have accidentally deleted it. Couldn't find it in trash or spam. Placed an order a second time, and it definitely did not state that my order was placed, nor did I get a confirmation email.
The concerning part is that I entered my payment information both times, so I don't know if my card has been compromised.
Tried to contact them via online chat, and it said a team member was online, but there was no response when I asked if someone was there.
Both a hoodie and a TShirt I ordered from there are already coming apart at the seams (literally) after wearing 1 and 2 times. The quality of both items is below average and the customer service when I commented about it, was generic in nature. We will send you a return label and replace the items with the same items. Clearly the items are crap... so I don't want more crap and to go through the hassle of returning it, and getting more crap. Seriously disappointed.
I bought a Dodgers World Series T-shirt. The shirt is made of the cheapest material I've ever seen in a t-shirt. Even though it is black I can see through the material. I wear a Medium to Large usually and bought Large just to be safe, and it is still small on me! Do not buy MLB Shop merchandise! I really don't dare wash it since I'm sure it will shrink. Even at the sales price of about $27 it's a bad deal!
Overpriced with slowest shipping and even slower delivery. They say shipped but its really only labels being created. It doesn't matter what shipping service they use. Ridiculous service and price.
This companies customer service is a JOKE. I waited for a personalized item for 8weeks! 8 weeks! For them to cancel my order afterwards. I know things have changed for all of us this year with Covid-19 so I figured order ahead n have it in time. During my waiting process I called to check on the order several times. It was 2 personalized items, 1 apparently went out of stock after I ordered my items. S.the.
My wife bought a gift early to allow for the slow delivery times since COVID but when I opened it we realized they sent the wrong size (2XL instead of medium). Tried to exchange for the correct size but they said it was outside the 30-day return policy, even though website advertises 100-day. They wouldn't send us the correct size and now out $50.
Take your money, sent you a email that your item has shipped but Fedex never shows any progress of the item actually being shipped. Even if you can get a refund they will not refund the shipping. Lesson learned to do more research before purchasing online. Save yourself some pain and never do business with this company.
I ordered three times - or I should say try to order. They cancelled the order and were not able to explain why. Order was paid, still waiting on the money. If you want to waste time in front of the computer than they are great. In all other cases... shop somewhere else!
I ordered 7 items which were divided into 5 separate shipments. Only 2 of the 5 arrived, despite MLB.com generated emails announcing the deliveries had been completed. Their website nonfunctional for this circumstance; sole option telephone contact. Someone on another continent whose language skills reflected that answers. After clearly noting by inventory number the items NOT received, I was told I would receive replacements. Next an email arrives that an item I had already received was on its way!
MLB.com offers horrible customer service. I received an email message telling me that my order was delivered. However, I did not receive the item. Their response? Wait a few more days rather than believing the message we sent saying that your order had been delivered. They could not have been less concerned about the lost item or less helpful.
Ordered some face coverings, 2 weeks to process order, 2 weeks to receive the order & charged $25 plus tax for the privilege.
Will take your money & provide the bare minimum of service.
They sent me a tracking number. 2.5 weeks later Fed Ex says that hey never got a package. MLBShop says the warehouse screwed up (send an empty box). After poking more holes in this story I find the item was directly being sent from the manufacture. But Customer Service could not tell me why my item was not sent. No matter how many times I asked. Huh?
Stay away from this site. Don't let MLB in the name fool you. This is a clown outfit!
Ordered May 17th as a father's day gift. It never came. Called today. Coincidentally, they said it's being shipped today. If I get it, I will upgrade my review
Ordered two items with promo code/prices but once I received my confirmation number, I saw that I was charged the higher price for one of the items. No email address to contact them to correct this. I won't be back.
Answer: No! No success story at all. I will never order from this clown outfit again.
