Like many sites, I cannot for the life of me understand the problem people are having with MIssguided. I took the risk, amongst the many horrible reviews, and ordered about 300$ worth of clothing.
5star Shipping: My package arrived from the UK to little ol Worthington, OH in three days. (I did pay for 1 business day shipping) There were no complications. I received a order and tracking number and literally watched the progress of my huge package.
5star Quality: Majority of my order were sweaters and each is very beautiful in their own way. They all fit true the medium size. I also order some crop tops that were also good quality and fit true to size. The sizes are tricky so make sure you've got your measurements down.
5star Value: For all the money spent I believe every dollar was worth it. I love everything I received.
Regarding service and returns:... everything was so perfect that I didn't have to worry about either of those.
So bottom line: I'm a loyal customer.
Ordered a dress for a wedding and paid $9 for expedited shipping. The shipping still took longer than it stated it would but arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Everything else about the experience working with this company has been AWFUL. They sent me the wrong size dress and expected me to pay to ship it back, lose out on my expedited shipping costs and call a 10% discount on a future order fair. I stood my ground and managed to get a refund for the original shipping and mailed the incorrect item back (I called the shipping costs back to them a loss as they were only willing to give me site credit). I made sure to ship the dress back with tracking and after it showed as delievered they still did not issue my refund. Went in circles with customer service for about 2 weeks and was told that I was going to get my refund and give it up to 48 hours to appear, well 4 days later still nothing so I emailed customer service again and also opened a dispute with PayPal since that's how I paid. WELL Customer service tried to convince me that I had to close the paypal disputer BEFORE they could issue my refund (you know the one they "already" issued 4 days ago?!). I told them no way was I closing it until I got my money since they had already lied and made me jump through hoops when they were the ones who sent me the wrong item to begin with. They tried to tell me again that I HAD to close it for them to issue the refund, I totally ignored the message figuring if nothing else I would wait it out with paypal's policy. Suddenly I got my refund and low and behold the paypal dispute closed itself without me needing to close it to get my money.
The quality of the item itself was fine, and the pricing was good but the customer service was SO bad I don't think I would shop again even if it was free. If you have a customer service issue stand your ground, keep following up and if you do order from them, check out with paypal so you have a back up when customer service fails. All in all from order to actual refund this process took 43 days so persistence is key if you're going to gamble
I wish you could put negative stars in red, that is how horrible with company is to work with. I ordered a few pieces specifically for an event and not only did they take forever to receive but they were also sent passed the delivery date that was provided by their customer service team. Once they item came, they were crappy quality so I sent them back. I followed every instruction on the website to return and even contacted customer service to make sure I had everything I needed. They said they would notify me once my package was returned but now, 16 days later, still nothing! I tracked on my end and everything was signed for the day after I shipped it out. This company has been horrific the entire step on the way and now getting my money back seems to be next to impossible. They do not return emails regarding returns and when they do, they tell you to follow the steps online - even after it has been explained, repeatedly, that the items have already been signed for by them. I have never written a review before because, sh*t happens but this is absolutely the worst experience by far and I order the majority of my things online from both domestic and foreign retailers. You couldn't pay me to deal with MissGuided again. ASOS for the win (and quality)!
Their prices change as soon as you order items from their site. Even though it's less than 24 hours and they haven't shipped your items, they refuse to adjust your order and credit the customer the difference. There isn't a single person who wants to pay more for an item that has been significantly reduced. Also sometimes there's a promo code when you add items to the shopping cart. Add items to the cart and the promo code doesn't get applied. Their response is that it's an error from however long ago. Yet the code (error) continues to show for more than a week.
They have the cutest clothes, for pretty reasonable prices. They quality is OK.
However, I have never experienced such horrible customer service. 1) Nowhere is it stated on their website that your order might be subject to custom charges. And I was charged over $60 in fees on a $200 order. 2) They charged the $60 custom fees to the company's, which I work for, account. And I have no idea how they got their account information. 3) You have to pay to ship it back to them.
And most importantly 4) It took them 2 months to process my return. And it's been almost 3 months for them to still credit me back my money.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE.
They have great selection of clothes. I have only ordered once from them, and was not happy with the product and shipping process. Tracking updates did not work, I waited for 3 weeks for my items to arrive, and the quality is very disappointing too. Customer service was responsive though, but i doubt that i will come back, returned the item.
