Worst experience ever. I am so disapointed as I love there clothes but the customer service was so bad I will never shop there again. I needed this item for a graduation on the thursday. I ordered Monday morning and paid 14e for next day delivery. My item came up as needing more info. I forwarded them a picture of driving license and a bill (Yes extremely stupid of me!) Nobody was getting back to me if i would still recieve them on time and why this additional info was needed. I began to worry if this was ligit was my information and money taken? I "tried" to cancel my order. Still will nobody respond if this has been done. Their chat service they keep making up excuses. I am left at the moment with no clothes, no money and no clue of what is happening. Only wish I had known before. I will be wiser next time
Before I get into everything, let me start by saying that I am a petite 20 year old- coming in at 5'0 and 95 lbs. I have struggled for so, so long trying to find clothing that is on trend and in my size. Because I could never find clothes that actually fit my body AND my style, I have had self-confidence issues for the longest time... until now.
I placed an order with Missguided after watching a YouTube video (I don't even remember who it was at this point) on a whim. I saw that they had some really cute, on point clothes in their petite section, so I ordered three tops, a bodysuit, a pair of shoes, and some leggings. After placing my order, I found all of these negative reviews about the company and started to get worried. Nonetheless, I waited it out and checked daily for my package. I will say that the package arrived four days later than the anticipated date, however, this could have been because of my apartment complex (they have a weird way of getting deliveries to us) and I didn't need them by a specific date, so it wasn't a big deal to me. I never understood why people order clothes online if they absolutely need them by a specific date that is somewhat close... but anyway...
When the clothes finally arrived, I ran up to my room and ripped open the package, anxiously hoping that I had finally found a store that I could feel confident shopping at. YOU GUYS... the quality of this brand is so good. Everything that I ordered was in the correct sizing, made of quality material, and looked exactly like the picture, and the best part is that IT FIT ME PERFECTLY! Missguided is now my new favorite place to shop. I am so beyond pleased with the clothes that I received in the mail. The only thing is that I thought a couple of the items looked weird on my body, so I'm going to return them, but that has nothing to do with the quality or the fact that it didn't fit me... they just didn't fit me "right," you know?
Anyway, don't believe the rumors that this site is a rip-off. Anybody who gives their credit card or identity information over e-mail is an idiot. It's obviously a scam that is not affiliated with the company at all. E-mail addresses get leaked - it happens, but Missguided should not be held responsible because you were a dummy and sent a copy of your identification to a strange e-mail... On a final note, I absolutely love the clothes that I purchased and I'm definitely going to be shopping from the petite section again very soon, if not tonight... Thank you Missguided for catering to all body types! :)
If you are based in Canada, do not buy from this website! There are hidden fees!
I paid $6 for shipping fee on top of my $46 value of the goods. Then, a few days later received an email from a shipping company, skynet that my shipment has entered canada and I owe them $25 for them to release my things. That's kore than 50% of my goods value and I thought I have paid for shipping!?
After multiple efforts finally got a detailed invoice and turned out I was charged for warehouse, processing, etc when the custom and tax were only around $10.
Now i'm stuck! I must pay this extra cost or I wont get anything. I emailed them to complain and ask for refund as now I dont want it at all and their customer service team never replied to my email. What a rip off.
I ordered a dress from them and when it got to customs, customs contacted me to a crazy amount so I refused. My parcel has been sitting there for 1.5 months and I told them to send it back and they haven't. When I told missguided, they said if I return it they will charge me customs, duties, and taxes for an item I never received! I don't understand that! I'm so upset. I won't even be getting my money back after all is said and done. Beyond angry and will never over again!
Month back I ordered for 3 pair of jeans from Missguided. But only one size was perfect but other two sizes were tight although the size tag mentioned on those two were same as that was mentioned in the first one. They might have tagged the wrong number. I brought the fact before Missguided Customer care here http://www.fixithere.net/missguided-contact-number/. They told me to return those items with in 14 days. I did accordingly and with one week I received correct sized jeans.
I made several orders from Missguided although I had never ordered from them before. I was greatly disappointed by the sizing even though I used there sizing guide and returned approximately $490 worth of clothing. They acknowledged part of the return although it was all in one shipment. They said that I would receive the refund in 3-5 days and I have yet to see a penny. I emailed them about the remainder of the returned items and they asked for proof of postage. I emailed the information promptly and didn't hear from anyone at all for several days. I then sent a follow up email to see what was going on. Someone replied asking what items I'd returned the following day. I provided that information in the original email and when I received a response to the email it detailed how much I should receive in refunds upon sending the requested information. The reference # and the previous emails were attached to the email I sent so I don't understand why it would be so difficult for the customer service agent to scroll down and simply read the emails. I am beyond frustrated with Missguided and will be pursuing other ways to get my money back. I am going to contact the Consumer Finance Bureau and anyone else I can think of until my money is returned. I believe the clothes on the website are significantly tailored or Photoshopped and appear to be a MUCH better quality than they actually are. Between the product, the customer service ( or lack there of), and the fact that they are just a total scam, I will stay away from Missguided and I suggest you do the same.
I'm so disappointed with there costumer service! First thing is I placed an order with them about 2 weeks ago. Everything looked good, I was informed that my order has been shipped and I got my tracking number from Fedex. When I tracked my order it showed that my package was still in the warehouse. Then the next time I checked it was already delivered! In the UK. So I asked about my ordered and the said the had to cancel it because both off my items were out of stock.
Disappointed!
Then I was looking at there page because I wanted to order something else and there costumer service gave me 20% off any order. When I was looking at there website I could see that both of my previous items were still in stock! So I asked the customer service about this and the said it was clearly a mistake that my order was canceled and I could reorder it with this discount. I waited and the next thing is the canceled my order AGAIN!
Some technical problem with there website! The told me I could buy some other items with 20% off, and I said I was not happy with 20% off! This is the highest there discount for there mistakes goes.
And now I know how the safe money for them selfs! The only gave me 51 GBP refunded but I paid 55 GBP for the order... I know it is not that much but if the do this to more people it is much!
Placed an order online with this company, never received a confirmation email. I reached out to their customer service dept to inquire and they informed me the payment was processed but the order was not created so they're going to have their team manually create the order within 48 hours. Within this time, the item I purchased is now out of stock. I still havent received a confirmation email and the funds have been taken out of my account. I will never shop with them again!
Has this website improve? They got really cute clothes but i am scared to purchase on here. I know FASHION NOVA is a great website but this one had me thinking especially theres no contact number
I bought three things from MissguidedUS a couple of weeks ago and I'm very happy with my decision to buy from them. At first when I searched up their reviews I was a little scared but when my items arrived I was very pleased. The only negative thing (which is a very small negative) was that one of my items I had ordered was out of stock but I didn't get an email stating it so I had to email customer service and they got back to me within hours of sending my email which is really good. I got my money back for the item but my other items still came and they were in great condition. I highly reccomend buying from MissguidedUS even though others have had a bad experience.
I have ordered from missguided about 3-4 times. Every time I say I'm not going to order from them again because I have a bad experience but then months down the line I sort of forget what went wrong and I order from them again because the clothing styles are so nice. First of all, I am ordering from Canada and the duty/taxes are atrocious. They also use a company called SkyNet that houses the shipment in Canada until duties are paid and charges ridiculous amounts per day. I just ordered an item that came to 23.81 with shipping/hst included (and this was in Canadian dollars) and I had to pay 12.93 in charges which I personally believe is ridiculous. More than 50% of the cost of the item was spent in other charges. Also, one time I ordered I had to pay 50 dollars in charges which makes items that seem like a good price actually really expensive. The customer service is terrible, they take forever to get back to you and don't really accomodate for any issues that occur. One other time my order got cancelled because they didnt have enough product in stock. These are all things that really should be addressed especially in the era of online shopping. Boohoo has much better customer service and they pay for all duties and taxes which is why I will be ordering only from them from now on. Missguided has great stuff and decent quality but it's not worth the cost, at least for us Canadians.
I ordered 2 pairs of pants and a top from Missguided, this was not my first time so I figured the experience would be good like last time. One of the pants was not the size I ordered so I contacted Missguided's customer service who promptly told me to ship the item back and I would be refunded for my shipping and the pants. It has been over a month and I am yet to receive any refund. I've been emailing and have been receiving the generic email which tells you that someone will get back to you but to no avail. I was asked to send a picture of my tracking number and the cost of postage and have sent this 4 times. I tried calling the number and the voicemail states all communication is strictly via email. I will NEVER order from MIssguided again as I am so disappointed and totally frustrated with the lack of respect and morality of this company. What is even more upsetting is this company sells their product in some of our well known US stores. Will definitely reach out to the Better Business Bureau if I have not heard anything or receive my FULL refund.
Ordered items 7 days ago for my engagement pics. Even paid $15 extra for 3 day shipping. They charged my card promptly, but 7 days later still no clothes delivered. Had to do online chat, to check the status. Where the rep told me I had to send a copy of my drivers license and a utility bill. Really? There were no issues w my card because it posted. Scam /identity theft signs. Now I doubt I will have an ease of getting my refunds giving other online reviews. Take heed!
The customer service department is a nightmare. I am still waiting for a refund for a dress that I returned because it was too big for my daughter. The tags were still on it and I returned it within 7 days per their instructions. I have basically given up hope that they can handle this and will lodging a dispute with my credit card company. Get a dress somewhere else. There are too many other choices out there to risk ordering from them.
I had ordered things from Missguided, but on ASOS. They were okay in quality but they were all cotton items so I thought maybe if I ordered something with another fabric it would be better. I was so wrong. It feels very cheap, like something I'd get off Aliexpress. I also asked if I had to pay and duties or even brokerage fees and they replied days later and I had already bought the item on sale, thinking that it would probably be around 20$ duties if anything. But I was worried about brokerage fees and they had no idea what that even meant! Honestly, If i ever even wanted another Item from Missguided, I'll order off ASOS instead. No duty fees whatsoever. Very bad experience.
When you return items, they don't refund you like they say they will within 5 business days. I had to file a complaint with my credit card company to dispute the charges! Never again will I order from them!
I haven't even received my order yet but I got the perfect dress it is exactly what I'm looking for but when I look at these review it scares me. But then I realized that half the people reviewing obviously don't know what duty fees are. If you go through the checkout theres a warning for duty fees like any out of country business. Srsly if you are ordering online then you should know this. Not all manufactures pay the duties if they don't have warehouses or distributors in your country. So regardless of wether or not the order is perfect for the price I'm getting a better quality then anything else I've seen. Y'all are just cheap haters.
Missguided sucks so bad! This is the second time I'm giving the a try and the same damn issue. They charge u three days shipping express for 15 dollars and while u sit there having hopes that ur item is on its way only to find out they shipped ur item three days after order was placed.No $#*!ing tracking number. I feel like once they bill u after that they don't care if u receive a tracking number or not. Very unreliable site. Please folks don't fall a victim! Missguided is a big scam. Either item runs under size or u receive it too late. For my 15 years of shopping online, Nasty gal has one of the best customer service I have ever had and their shipping is so reliable..
Honestly, i loved missguided. Whenever i needed a dress, that would be the first website id visit, but you can tell that ive never actually bought a dress from them before. Recenly, ive decided to buy this dress that i absolutely loved, and it was 50$. I applied a discount code i found online and it went down to 42$. It was really cheap and it said that its free shipping over 40$ in u. S and canada. So i bought the dress for a total of 42$ without hesitation. 2 days after, ive got an email from the shipping company that missguided uses, and it said that they have to charge me 25$. I am a student and ive recently moved to canada, but I paid it anyway, with frustration. If you cant manage your shipping policies then dont say that its free shipping over 40$ throughtout u. S and canada. If i knew this i wouldnt have bothered to buy the dress, and would save my money. Never shopping from missguided again
