Excellent customer care by employees. Natasha. Went in for 1st time. Unsure of the process. 2 pleasant and very helpful employees took over and quickly found 5 items for me.
Mac.bid saved me a ton of money on a recent home remodel. Everything from flooring, tile, bathtub, shower pan, toilets, lighting, vanities and many more items at a substantial discount.
This location out of three I have been too is terrible for non working items or not having the item you paid for. In fact, this is the ONLY location I have been that has not had my item and it has happened many times. The South Carolina locations are much better and, to date, I have not had a dud or missing item in South Carolina.
I've been buying pallets for quite a few months now and I decided to try this new M@c Bid out! WORST MISTAKE IVE MAKE SO FAR! EVERY SINGLE ITEM IS TRASH! I bought multiple pallets even rented a Uhaul to go pick everything Up! (Yeah it was a lot) I Definitely will NOT EVEN MAKE MY MONEY BACK! This stuff is garbage and I Hope People Read these Reviews before Purchasing, They give you item descriptions for whatever reason IDK because I'm telling you everything I bought is Trash! It's Sad that This Company is really Taking Money From Hard Working People and Going Through the Loads and Picking out anything good and selling it individually and literally filling these pallets with Trash! BEWARE ANYONE THAT IS TRYING TO RESELL YOU WILL DEFINITELY LOOSE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE! It's Actually Really Messed up if you As Me!
Two out of 3 were not the items in the pictures when I was bidding. It's like buying a mystery prize
Do not buy anything expecting it to work, or think there is any warranty of any kind by the manufacturer. You are buying a pig in the poke so to speak.
I purchased an ice maker for 400.00 and it lasted for 2 days… nothing for Mac Bid nor Amazon who sells the ice maker so I've got not but junk for my money. It was sold as "As New" so much for truth in advertising
Checked out open box pc for friend, Dropped, missing parts, dirty, wrong keyboard and in fair condition. Opened box? Yeah right Do your homework. Could have bought same thing refurbished by Amazon for 20 dollars more. I myself would never buy anything from them.
Most electronics are non functional most furniture is damaged.almost everything is used.go check stuff out before you bid
I have won some great deals! Be sure to read the description and look at the pictures. If you are unsure, purchase the insurance. The majority of the things that I have purchased are what they posted they are. The staff is always willing to help. I have recently been on crutches and they have gone out of their way to help.
Mac bid helped me get a lot of things done on a great budget and honestly don't think we could have got half our house put together as beautiful with out the prices and everything from Mac!
This company advertises as Open Box purchases from Amazon, Walmart, etc. I believe this is a complete lie. I purchased 2 Air Fryers and both are completely used with cooked on grease. The handle on one of the ovens is completely broken. I believe this company is purchasing products from regular people and re-selling to the highest bidder. Fair warning, don't do it. If they don't accept these back with a refund, they are going in the trash. $90 bucks down the drain.
*******@cbids has been a great find! I have bought so many great things for my home at really great prices. The Bridgeport, Ohio location is fast, friendly, and efficient. Thank you!
I have purchased ALOT from the sites in the Pgh zone and for the most part, about 80% of my purchases, I am pleased. Most employees are great and eager to assist from retrieving your items to loading them in your vehicle. Had 1 bad encounter at the Pgh Mills site and that was with employees who are SITTING ON THEIR BUTTS when you come in or check out.
And to a subject that's pissed me off! When you look at an items photos the 1st one you see is the manufacturer photo then you see Macbids photos, many Of which are blurry.is this on purpose? Don't know but we'll give the benefit of doubt. The description sometimes tells you if it's damaged or items missing but that not always the case!
Yesterday I picked up a shop vac that I bought and she I got home and opened it I found that the hose and attachments were missing! Furthermore whe I plugged it in and turned it on the motor made a horrible, loud squealing noise and started to smoke and burn.
I called Macbid today to tell them what happened and they said that there's nothing they can do as it's stated parts may be missing.
Come on now! At least when you open the box to take the photo you can check for missing parts! I've seen some listings that do say that. And at least for electrical items, plug it in and turn it on yo see if it works! In my case you would have thrown it away! But no, you chose to advertise it and sell it. At least offer to accept the return but instead, you SCAM the customer. Shame on you!
I was scammed! Bought a Lego set for $300 Opened it and it's ALL Chinese knockoff. No Lego pieces, they didn't even go with the set on the box. Pieces were in Ziploc bags.
I recently just purses a 360 rotation all in one. It was exactly as described. Brand new tag still on.
They will show a description of what your bidding on to find out its nothing how it was described. They need to act like it's their money being spent on these items
I have bought many items at a fraction of the retail price. I am satisfied with the majority of items I have purchased on this site. My only complaint is the fee will increase September 1 to $3 per item
If you do get an item it's broke or sometimes you don't even get it because the app is trash but you get charged anyway. Don't shop here. Hopefully they go out of business soon.
Why oh why do I continue to purchase $#*! from macbid? It's all trash. Pictures are deceitful on obviously destroyed items. Yet I continue to believe the best. Don't do it.nothing but deceit!
Company advertises online pictures of items not damaged and takes your money for damaged merchandise.
Answer: No, there is one on the sure now. Beware of purchasing items you can't view ahead of time. Go see it before you bid on it.
Answer: They simply do not care how long you have to wait. Just hope the driver didn't find your item to be pretty cool or something his girlfriend would really like to have.
Answer: 15% + $3 + tax try bidding and being high bidder on an item for $1 and end up paying 3Ă— that amount.
