Was give a delivery date for today July 4. Called store, we were on the schedule. Then got to after 6 called store, they use 3rd party. Called that company, was informed 10 orders cancelled, said we were on there for delivery 3:30 to 7:, she called driver, he said my dryer was never loaded. Called Lowe's, spoke to manager, he said delivery company did not pick up about 5 orders. Who's truthful here. I think I'll shop Home Depot now.
I tried to call Lowe's customer service on several occasions to determine some information about a fraudulent use of one of my credit cards. The wait times are in excess of 25 to 30 minutes and more.
When I tried asking for a new 2 word captcha it never gave it to me so I could review them on their own site.
In my opinion Lowes is exceedingly abusing the China virus conditions with customer service Barry
I call flooring department they transfer me to customer service they transfer me to hardware they transfer me to customer service again and they hung up on me
I ordered a table from lowes been over 2 weeks never received called customer service when I pushed # to talk about current order was told no one to help you..
Lowe's has become of my least favorite places. Bad customer service, bad management, and TERRIBLE over the phone assistance when dealing with a legitimate problem. Will be deactivating my account with them as soon as I pay off what I owe. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SO CALLED "CORPORATION"
I ordered a generator and picked it up from lowe's. I put gas and oil in it because that's what you do with a generator in order for it to run. I realized it was not powerful enough for what I needed it for so I called on two different occasions to find out the return policy. Both times the women I spoke with told me I could bring it back within 30 days of when it was billed to my CC card which was when I picked it up. I brought it back 3 weeks after I picked it up. I told the woman at the return counter that it was not powerful enough so she must have figured out that I have to have put gas and oil in it. She told me I just need to bring it in and they would credit my card. I asked if it needs to be in the original box, which I had in my truck, and she said no. As I was bringing it in, a manager came out and told me they would not take it back because it was used. OF COURSE IT WAS USED. HOW WOULD I KNOW IT WAS NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH. I called their 1-800 and was told the requirement to bring something back that required gas to run is to bring it back within 30 days and in the same package with no gas or oil in it. Then she did a little more research and told me that their policy did state that it could not have had gas in it. WAIT... WHAT... HOW IS SOMEONE SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF THE PRODUCT EVEN WORKS UNLESS YOU RUN IT?!?! And, if this is their policy, why did I have to waste so much time being told I could bring it back, bringing this insufficient thing back to the store, going through the return process, waiting for someone to bring a flatbed to my truck to unload and having to unload it myself before I was told they won't tack it back? I will be going to Home Depot from now on. BTW... The only reason I gave lowe's one star is because I can't put zero stars. Yes, I know I did not capitalize their name. From now on, I will be shopping with Home Depot even though it is a few miles further from my home.
Today FedX delivered a very nice, solid decorative curtain rod. I checked the packing slip to confirm they shipped the correct product (48"-86"). Yup. Then, I started putting it up above the windows (2 26"-wide side by side). Got the two holding brackets up and was attempting to extend the rod to put it in the end brackets when one end of the rod unexpectedly came out of the other.
Uh-oh! I realized this rod was too short. Yet, the slip displayed what I ordered. Then, I looked at the display box it came in: 28"-48"! PROBLEM! Was on hold with Lowe's for an hour. Finally, I explained I had mail ordered the rod because I want to limit my virus risk (not good for an elderly with COPD) by not going out to the store, and that I had received the wrong product. I told her I took a photo of the packing slip next to the product box as proof. She wasn't able to help me, so I was told to wait for a call from someone else who would handle the matter. They should call in 2-10 days! WTH? This is unacceptable to me. This experience shows me Lowe's does not want to be responsible for their errors. We'll see if I ever get a call. Meanwhile, I don't have the rod I needed and can't afford to order another one now.
Shoulda coulda woulda... next time I'll order it from Amazon. In my experience, they correct their errors ASAP.
In June, I paid $40 for an appliance measurement. It's been over a week since the measurement and nobody has called me to purchase. I went into the Poway store for help and they said they don't do "that". I really wanted to support Lowe's- as it's always empty. But their customer service is terrible. It took me over 40 minutes on hold, for customer service to inform me they cannot into the system to find my quote!? Back to Home Depot for the remainder of my appliances and home remodel!
If you are looking to buy APPLIANCES go to Costco! You cannot get a person to answer the phone at LOWES, let alone offer any assistance. Just save yourself the anguish and GO TO COSTCO!
Last year we ordered a fridge, the day it was supposed to have been delivered it NEVER came! I called the store, and found out my fridge had been taken to someone else and they didn't have any more in stock... well after being on the phone all afternoon with these people they told me to call another store and that they would get me my fridge and all I would have to do is call the store talk to this one guy in their appliance department and I could go and get my fridge. SO I call only to find out that Lowe's doesn't do that and if I want that fridge I need to cancel the order at the other store... finally just went to the store after I told them my story they gave me a generous refund and 2 weeks later I got the fridge. This NEVER should have happened!
After the third delivery date change and after three days of promises of a call from the delivery supervisor "Sean" to arrange a delivery date, after paying a plumber to come to my house for no reason and after being on hold a total of an hour and ten minutes I cancelled my refrigerator order and got one from Home Depot.
Lowe's doesn't care if they lose a $2,500.00 sale... and neither do I.
I purchased 10 bags of mulch in which the cashier called for assistance to help me load my car. No one came and the guys were playing around further back by the mulch and other garden supplies. This is very disheartening as a senior to not be helped. Management should be walking around to ensure customers are helped. Kudos to the cashier who was an older lady!
I purchased a faucet from Lowe's that was damaged in shipment. I never received the faucet which you can see if you go on Fedex.com and look at tracking. I have yet to receive my refund because they said they have to investigate. Investigate what? I have no faucet and no money. Don't spend money or your time with them. Then when I called and waited 45 minutes the following week, they hung up on me after I explained what I was calling about. They were closing at 6 ET. The crappiest customer service I have ever experienced.
I bought online some hardwood flooring for some minor repair. The process was easy to follow and the price was actually cheaper for exact same thing then Menards or Home Depot, all of which are in my area. Notifications and updates were appreciated. Helpful employees at my local store, all in all went very well. Lately with Menards dumb mask covid policy and home depot number restrictions, Lowe's has got more of my business. I think the store experience is hit or miss like most. The online was good, not great, but good.
Lowe's in Indian Trail, NC sold me a defective Whirlpool dishwasher. They refused to replace it instead blaming the manufacturer. I had to buy another unit from HOME DEPOT! I will never buy as much as a thumbtack from Lowe's again!
I was supposed to have a washer and dryer delivered on! 7 June but the delivery never showed up and now I am being told that they don't have an opening to deliver for two more days. We have been waiting for three weeks for the delivery. Not very good customer service. I will have to think twice about purchasing from Lowes in the near future.
Went the early sun morning to inquire about a power washer and lawn chair. Could not find any sales associate to help me. Went to customer service and asked for help. Joanne in customer service told me she was just a cashier. Asked to see the manager joel. Joanne called him and he never appeared. I insisted to see Joel and again Joanne stated again she was just a cashier. After waiting thirty minutes for NO service, I left and went across the street to Home Depot and made all my purchases and had my questions answered within fifteen minutes. Lowes has lost a customer for life! On Monday, tried to call corporate customer service and waited over fifty minutes on hold and was then disconnected.
Apparently lowes makes enough money besides themselves...
Purchased a dishwasher May 12, was told it would be delivered today June 14,2020 had to call store took 15 minutes to talk to someone and was told it is coming tomorrow. When I complained about the fact on the website it even says June 14, the woman in appliances who took my call said "Oh Well" imagine that for customer service, never again
Home Depot is better. I had to go to our local store to fix their online mistake because 4 hours on a phone with them didn't do it. The local store couldn't or wouldn't fix it so had to cancel online order. Had a run a round from the get-go. What a horrible experience, will never order from them again!
My husband & I went to Lowe's Purchase a NEW WASHER & DRYER &: REFRIGERATOR.
FOR OUR NEW HOUSE THE SALES PEOPLE WERE GREAT... PAID FOR IT.
TOMORROW IS THE DELIVERY. JUNE 13th. No one called us to say what time they were coming.
So we called Lowe's & They said JULY 14 TH THERE IS ONE BIG PROBLEM WITH THAT...
WE ARE MOVING JULY 1ST. UNACCEPTABLE... ON THIER OWN THEY CHANGED THE DATE OF
DELIVERY WITHOUT CALLING MY HUSBAND FIRST... UNACCEPTABLE...
THIS IISN'T THE END OF THIS STORY... THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF THE START.,
UNBELIEVABLE SOMEONE WOULD JUST ON THEIR OWN CANCEL THIS DELIVERY
FOR TOMORROW. JUNE 13th. WITHOUT TAKING TO US FIRST... UNACCEPTABLE AGAIN
Answer: They aren't a s cam but their incompetency will make you pay extra for shopping with them
Answer: Same here and Lowes is no help! All they tell me is there is a delay, sorry
Answer: The price will be less but you will overpay with your time
Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
