I had the sweetest employee at Maplewood Lowe's! I exchanged a pump for a waterfountain I had bought and the new didn't have all the pieces in it and she went out of her way actually above and beyond to find the piece in the old one I returned and she mailed it to me... and I got it the next day! Thank you LaVania Wagner you are the best! Workers like you r hard to find!

Horrible

I am completely appalled at the "customer service" department at Lowe's and am completely offended at their sorry excuse to try and rectify a situation. I recently purchased materials in the amount of $2604. 64 to remodel two bathrooms. I purchased 2 vanities, 2 toilets, 2 light fixtures, 2 mirrors, tile, 2 faucets, towel rack, towel ring and toilet paper holder to be delivered to my home. The order was placed on 6/16. The faucets have yet to be delivered when their expected delivery was 7/8. The towel ring, towel rack and paper towel holder were delivered in silver when I had ordered bronze. The renovations began today and when we unboxed one of the vanities there is a LARGE crack in the wood. I called customer service and sat on hold for FIFTY EIGHT MINUTES to simply request my $65 delivery fee be refunded now that I have to lift a 218 pound vanity onto a truck and haul it back to the store myself as well as the items that were shipped in the wrong color (completely eliminates the convenience of having everything shipped to my home in the first place). I was informed that they could not do this. Again, I spent $2604. 64 at their store and at least half of my order was wrong, not shipped (over a month later), and/or damaged. I now am inconvenienced that I have to bring everything back to the store myself to return/exchange. I don't feel that it was unreasonable to request a refund of my delivery fee seeing that I now have to load everything up and bring it back to the store myself for THEIR MISTAKE. Horrible, horrible customer service. I will never, ever shop at this store again and I caution anyone to order from them. That is, unless you expect to receive 50% of your order wrong or damaged with absolutely no customer service skills or willingness to make things right.

The worst!
Maria in plumbing department did not want yo help in any way! Its Sunday she needed to stay home! And the 3 extra associates in the flooring department could not stop the story time at
4:30 pm. Then the gal with the purple shirt that
Does the curbside pick up could not be bothered when a customer is trying to ask a question!
I took the time to let Christina the manager...
But run from this location!

Order online!

Less aggravation and at your door step!

I purchased a Product Source kitchen faucet in May. I paid for insulation. It would only spray a after 2 weeks. I requested a replacement but only got a different color sprayer with hose from Product Source. I contacted Lowe's and they said to bring the old one. I would have to pay for removing the old one and pay for a new one. Don't buy Product Source.

Delivery Service

Scheduled to have a refrigerator delivered at a rental priperty of ours. The 3rd party delivery company driving a Lowe's truck showed up more than an hour after texting and saying 20 min. Driver refused to change door to open to the left. Said he had to many deliveries. He wouldn't talk to his own delivery company (that wanted to talk to him) we had on the phone. He loaded up the fridge and left. Went to another company and bought a fridge and a range that use their own delivery people. Done buying appliances at Lowe's or Home Depot that use a 3rd party delivery company.

Don't Order Online

I ordered two bolts and two nuts (same size of course) online to be delivered (paid S&H, too). They delivered the nuts to my house. They informed me I would have to travel almost an hour to their store to pick up the bolts. I spent an hour on the phone to rectify this, and was informed they would be delivered to my home. They then shipped the bolts to that store. The store called to tell me I could a) pick them up or b) receive a credit for the bolts (not the nuts or the S&H - not to mention the work I needed to be doing wasn't getting done). They could not have cared less about me as a customer. I went ahead and bought these through Home Depot, who will get all my business going forward. Bad bad experience.

Buyer beware: Took back a Bolens Weedwhacker after three or four uses. They refused to take it back stating it was over the 30 day warranty. The rope will not retract and is broken. I am a woman who weed wacks periodically and only used this three or four times in the past 90 days that I had it. Actually, I bought it at the end of April but did not start using it until most likely May when we needed to cut the grass. All I wanted was a replacement. I had my receipt and the original credit card that I used. The people at the Freemansburg and 78 Lowe's seemed like I stole the merchandise! All they have to do is return it to the manufacturer for defective merchandise! They refused! This is the last Lowe's purchase. Home Depot all the way!

This is an on going issue, so our rating may change: My wife and I ordered a Samsung Fridge online for $1200 two times form Lowes. The first order, I believe in May was never processed, although we got a confirmation email, and a delivery date. Upon this discovery, we called customer service and all they said was, "that's weird... you can place the order again." So, we placed the order a second time, and again were given a delivery date. The date came and went... No refrigerator. We called, and were told, "They are on back order," and were given a new delivery date. Today, we noticed that another store had SEVEN of the refrigerators in stock... But, We couldn't get one, unless we paid the new marked up price. Further, the sales person in the Goodyear store said that " A lot of people have canceled their online orders and have come down to the store to buy the fridge at $1500." So, we will wait and see if Lowe's will honor their original price and make good on the the delivery.

Racist Cashier

Lowes Team,

I would like to know did you guys change any policy that whoever going to check out any item they have to show their id card. My dad went to the store and bought the bag of Bird food and the person on the cashier he asked his id card. My question is why he asked his id card his age is 60 and he is not buying any alcohol or something hazardous then why he asking his id card. When my brother asked him and he replied that the company changes the rule and we have to check this to the customer.
This never happens before we used to go to the store all the time. Why he is so racist with my dad. I have a receipt with me. This store is located in Little Rock 1100 South Bowman Road
And the store manager's name is Chris Roberts. He was on terminal 8, store id 3331, date 07/17/20, and time 14:49:41. The transaction number is *******.

Although the products are good, their customer service and delivery is awful. I ordered a laundry washer and dryer and had a scheduled delivery and put aside everything I had to do and waited for it, but it didn't arrive and I didn't even get a notice that the day is postponed or anything. I waited for over a month just to cancel the order afterwards. We went to the store and they said they don't have the washer and dryer in stock and don't know when they will receive it. Why are they scheduling a delivery if they don't even have the product.

Worst Service Ever

Never again will I buy from Lowe's. My first experience was an outside contractor that installed a storm door where the lock broke after 1 week. They were scheduled to come and repair the lock, they didn't and I ended up fixing it myself. The second was a lumber delivery that was several hours late and lied we didn't set a delivery time and 3rd was a refrigerator delivery scheduled for 8am to noon almost 2 weeks in advance. They didn't show as planned only to have the curior service to send an automated message delivery between 1pm and 5pm as not agreed. They wasted an entire day of my pay with no compensation whatsoever. Lowe's is simply pathetic in every way including the employee's who know little to nothing about the department they work in. Never again will I spend 1 penny at Lowe's.

Horrible Delivery
July 13, 2020

The delivery was so horrible. They made some holes on the wall while moving the appliances. Some particles in the refrigerator were broken. When the delivery guys said I could call them again to continue installing the washer and the dryer because they said they could not do it at the moment due to the electrical problems. After fixing the electrical problem myself, I called Lowe's again. They changed a word saying it cost $190 for the second call. The customer lady was very unfriendly. I just found out the delivery guys put the paper inside the ventilator as well. Seriously, if I did not look inside, it could cause a FIRE. It already BURNED some parts of the paper when I took it out. This is beyond just a complaint. I can't believe they actually could kill a person doing so bad work.

I ordered a 44 gal brute trash can and they sent me a email and called telling me my order was ready. When I arrived at the store the trash can had some kind of brown liquid all over the outside of the trash can. The person in customer service told me they did not have any more that she would try to have someone clean it. Well after a few mins I checked lowes website and it said they had eleven in stock. The customer service person tried lying her way out by telling me someone my have bought them over the internet and the website was
Still showing them. After 45 mins waiting on a trashcan that was suppose to be ready. They decided that they may have more out back. And lowes wonders why they are having to close stores Hire honest people that wants to help people.
The store in Rock hill really sucks.

It's a nightmare to buy appliances from Lowe's. First of all they said it was going to be delivered on a certain date from 11 am to 11pm. I waited for the delivery all day and until 11pm. It never came. I tried calling but every time they either did not answer or hung up on me. The delivery was rescheduled for a month later. I only found out the next day by calling the main office. Now they delivered it and charged me an extra $29.07 which I did not agree to and they didn't deliver the whole order. This is incredible. Don't buy from Lowe's. I won't.

I bought a fridge from Lowe's in Skokie my delivery was scheduled from 9-1 pm it's 5 pm not one call. Every time I call for the status of my delivery I am being transferred with no answers and without a warning for my call transfer. I've been hung up on plenty of times. My patience for this store has literally run out. No on knows what they are doing. Training is a must in that store!

We attempted to order a refrigerator for delivery to a second home. We could not order from our local store which is ridiculous, and if you order online, there is no option for delivery, just pick up only. We called the store, spoke to a harried employee, and arranged a date for delivery of new refrigerator as well as haul away of old refrigerator. They even gave me the number of their outside delivery company to confirm the day before. We were given a time window of 1-5 pm but never received a call. When attempting to call the outside delivery (5 times and various calls totaling over 2 hours of my time) - we are connected to customer service people in the Philippines. They repeat themselves and due to lack of full communication understanding, are not able to resolve. Unable to reach dispatch. Finally at 6 pm I am told the truck is minutes from my house. We frantically emptied the entire refrigerator and freezer. The men and truck arrived, but they have no delivery for us. They are here to haul away my refrigerator! Needless to say I am fuming. Had we been dealing with someone who understood the meaning of the word DELIVERY, we would not have needlessly emptied our fridge. Called Lowe's store over a period of 24 hours, rings and rings, then they disconnect you. I am done with Lowe's. Never buying from them again. We canceled our order once we could finally reach someone. STAY AWAY! Support your local small businesses instead.

Don't use them

My husband purchased a Samsung washing machine and paid for delivery and installation. Delivery was scheduled for July 3rd 8-12am. So they never showed on the 3rd and after multiple call where we could not get an answer, we had no choice but to wait until Monday. 3 days later. Monday my husband got in touch with them and they said it would be delivered between 8 and 12 that day. That didn't happen. Then they said 5-9pm. We got a call that they were on the way around 3; 30. Had to leave work early to meet them. When they show up they start to take the old one and the pedastool. I said please put the new one on the old pedastool. Well, they say they can't do that. Against policy. Ok I say, then just leave it on the floor and install. Now they say they can't use the existing hoses that are fine. To install they need to charge us for the new ones they have on hand. We say no. Just leave the machine and my husband will hook it up. My husband gets home and hooks it up. Just a couple of water hoses and power. As soon as he turns it on, water starts pouring out the bottom! We don't even know what to do from here. What a nightmare and we still can't do laundry. I'm assuming the return process will be even more painful and time consuming. Will never use them again and plan on posting reviews everywhere I can.

Action GE washer broke. One month later still can't get their contracted tech to come fix washer. Tx Home Appliance worst customer service and lowes knows it. Spoke to numerous customer service rep. They escalated this several times. They don't document though. Can't get them to respond. They essentially stolen our money.

I purchased a front load washer dryer set about 2 weeks ago and was given a delivery date of July 8 which would have been little over a week. I was then told delivery wouldn't be for 3 to 4 weeks or more so I canceled the order. I tried purchasing through a different Lowes about 3 to 4 days later and was given the date of July 5th for the dryer and July 8 for the washer. That has since been pushed back to July 6rh then to July 8th. Just got off the phone with someone at he Chino store who said they would be outsourcing and she no longer had a delivery date estimate for me. Needless to say I am unhappy and unimpressed. Lowes just lost this homeowner as a customer forever. Canceling my order.
