The Worst!
April 5, 2021

My husband and I went to the Store and purchase a freezer for delivery. We waited a week and when they came, they took our old freezer and the one that we received was a floor sample. I could not believe it. I was livid. We called the store and instead of apologizing they made it seem like it was my request to purchase a floor sample at a brand new freezer price. We spoke with the associate manager, they wanted us to wait a week for another freezer to be delivered. To make a long story short, because I had to deal with them for most of the day and called corporate to make a complaint. We had to purchase a bigger freezer if we didn't want to wait for a week. We paid the difference and she scheduled the delivery in two days, which is a Monday. On Monday I called the store, and was transferred to the delivery manager who stated that the freezer was sitting in lumber and it's not schedule to be delivered today. I am beyond mad at this point. They are so unprofessional. The managers do not give a damn. Even though I spoke with corporate and they were suppose to make things right, this still happened. I feel insulted. I am done with them. Give me my money back so I can go somewhere else.

I placed an online order on December 1st for an exterior door for my house. 4 months and I still haven't receive my Door. I had to reschedule the contractor 3 times for the installation. Lowe's customer service told me that unfortunately they are waiting for the manufacturer to deliver the door to them. "You know COVID has delayed everything " said a representative. My advice don't order doors from Lowe's unless you are in no rush.

Floor coverings
March 30, 2021

I have had my place measured and it's been a week I ha e spent money for my house. Now I was told that this person had to get new estimates today and now it's 1230 pm. If your people don't want to make this high price sale I will go to home depo. And I have told this person and it seems he don't care. Don't give me a runaround I use to do that stuff for a living in Massachusetts. Be straight up not a lying peice of work.not happy it's already been over a week.

Our story began at the Altoona, PA Lowes. On February 22,2021 we ordered ceiling materials. As we are not familiar with all the intricacies of building material, we relied on the "experts" at Lowes. The ceiling along with the ceiling track was ordered and set to be delivered on March 8th. My husband called the store on March 5th to verify the delivery as we had contractors schedule to install the ceiling once it arrived. Delivery was verified through the store--so we schedule the contractors. Monday, March 8th came, no delivery. We contacted the store--"Whoops! Sorry, it was not scheduled for March 8th, it was scheduled for March 9th Tuesday--it will be there tomorrow!" Tuesday, the ceiling and track arrived. Right ceiling, wrong track. As a reminder, the "experts at Lowes" advised of the type of track to order for the ceiling tiles we ordered. We called Lowes again about the wrong parts--the correct parts would cost three times as much as the original parts and would be about 2 weeks out for delivery. We still have contractors on stand-by. Regardless of the uptick in price, we asked to order the new parts. We heard nothing for two weeks, so we called again about the delivery schedule. Customer service had no idea when the track would be delivered. We asked for a Manager. Manager would get back to us after looking into it. Another week=nothing. We called again and were given the number for the District Customer Service Rep, who advised us he would look into it and get back to us. Never heard from him. Called again, District Rep said they were still looking into it and we would receive a call back within 24 hours. Fast-forward another week; we are now at 3/29/21... we called the rep again this morning... contractors still waiting, ceiling, no correct track... we were advised this morning that the new ceiling track that we ordered on the 9th was never processed.
Additionally, because so much time has elapsed we are being informed we cannot return the items we already purchased through Lowes... the ceiling tiles with the incorrect track. This big box company is abysmal. There is no accountability, customer service, or integrity. I was forced to even give them one star for this review---that is one too many.

Unfortunately, Lowe's does not care about their customers at all. They have rigid policies in place which apparently do not allow their poor front line leaders to make smart decisions to help retain and their keep customers satisfied. I can say this because I recently had an experience were I attempted to return 4 tension wire rolls I bought online with receipt back to the store, and not even get my money back but a store credit, but the store said "NO" because it had been 102 days, and their policy is 90 days. I wrote to their CEO Marvin Ellison to explain the situation, and ask them to reconsider their decision based on the facts the product was unused and the product type being returned (tension wire), and the fact I was not even asking for money back and just get a store credit. I did get a call back from corporate office from the office of the CEO, but the answer was the same "no". This to me clearly show the issue of not caring/ no empathy is not a reflection of the employees themselves, but the position of their executive leadership who apparently DOES NOT STRIVE TO RESOLVE CUSTOMER ISSUES AND RETAIN THEM as future customer. So the snake (employment team) follows its head (executive leadership). Because of this experience I personally will never give a cent of my hard earned money to Lowe's ever again, or at least until there is a change in corporate culture. I much rather give my money to anyone else, even if I have to drive or pay more for a similar product. And I hope others make the same decision and give their money to other companies that care about their customers.

Two weeks ago I purchased delivery of pavers. At 11 AM I call the north side store in Pueblo, CO to see if my delivery was going to happen. The lady that answered the phone on the 30th ring said that there was nothing for delivery. I explained to her I had a paid receipt, but she stated that was just an estimate. I again told her I had a paid receipt in my hand. She then forwarded me to another lady who stated she would look for the purchase. After being on hold of a long time, she came back and said she found the receipt, but had no idea about the delivery. I was then forwarded to delivery and that lady told me that she would look into it and call me back. Two hours later I called the store again and on the 24 ring a lady answered and said the driver was loading his truck. Two after that the driver called and stated he was on his way. 40 minutes he arrived and did an outstanding job.
Today 3/24 I am supposed to have another product delivered. I called at 10 AM and no one had any idea about my order. I called again at 11 AM and again no idea about my order. I just now received a call stating that they did not get the product in and it is now suppose to arrive Thursday 3/25 sometime. So I have now spent the entire morning waiting on my delivery and it will not happen. Maybe Thursday and MAYBE Friday!
This is third problem I have had with LOWES CRAPPY SERVICE! Already paid for the product or I would do somewhere, ANYWHERE else!

I ordered a BBQ grill online, they said delivery will be March 5th, then emailed me and said March 12th. Fine. I take the day off work. I get a call at 730am on the 12th confirming delivery between 830am and 1230pm. At 230pm, still no BBQ, I call the people (delivery service) that called me, they say the driver is running alittle late, he is less than 2 miles away doing a delivery and should be here soon. 6pm. still no BBQ, but by this time I had already invited a bunch of people over for BBQ, thinking I should have my BBQ here by 4 anyway. So I call the delivery people back, they have no idea what happened, but tell me that the driver returned my item to the store, so I call Lowes, they can't find it and also have no idea where it is. A manager is supposed to call me back. It's almost 730pm. Still no call back. Keep in mind, I have a bunch of hungry people here that I now have to order take out for costing me another 200 bucks. Why can't someone reach the driver? Does he not have a cell phone? This is not a difficult problem. But they made it miserable.

I purchased a microwave oven from Lowes in Carlstadt, NJ on Route 17. Well first they did come to early for me the day before. No problem they came back on another scheduled time and they did an excellent job installing the microwave. They were so kind and respectful I will never forget how good they were. I live in Elmwood Park, NJ and I will go back to Carlstadt, NJ just to go to Lowes for two large appliances and I hope the installers for the a washer/dryer are as good as the microwave installers just not here at 7am LOL.

We purchaced a sliding door with a doggie door attached for $1500. 00 and after waiting for 2 months it came in and delivered. However after the door was sealed up the doggie door does not open and the frame is 1/16 inch open at the bottom when opened. I have called Lowes and they told me to call the manufacture. After 3 calls and over a week later someone will call me to instruct me how to take the doggie door apart in hopes that it will work however the opening at the bottom also concerns me as it appears the bottom of the door is 1/16 inch larger that the top part. Also the sliding door open 24" and not the full opening as other sliding doors. Due to the doggie door it will not open more that that. After spending $1500. 00 for the door I am not happy. Thank you Lowes for not taking care of your customer after I have spent thousands of dollars with you.

Doors installtions
February 24, 2021

The worst they ordered the wrong size doors reordered the doors without my knowledge the doors were to small the communication with management was nonexistent the staff in install could have cared less the
Whole operation was less than satisfactory and now I'm stuck with doors that are to small and I have to look at it everyday! Lowes management was supposed to call me many times never happened. Went to the door department asked to speak to the store manager waited 45 minutes he never came to talk to me. Some lady named Anita came back their and said we can't do anything to help you right now after 45 minutes I can't count the times I've called and been lied to by the asst. Mgr and the install dept. will not be having anything fine by lowes ever again and I run a business and do does my husband and I will be letting everyone I know not to trust lowes.

Customer Service
February 21, 2021

Called store twice and was transferred twice. No one answered the call twice. Called again and asked to speak with a manager. Service rep asked what I was calling about. I purchased a GE washing machine less than 6 months ago and now it isn't working. Put me on hold, then came back to tell me they had only one person who could talk to me and he was busy. Asked if I had purchased the warranty, and if I hadn't that was my "problem" not theirs. Told her it wasn't my fault that the store did not hire enough people and that I wanted to talk with someone. She hung up on me. Called back and got her name and then she started yelling at me to stop yelling at her. Told her to calm down and stop talking, she wouldn't be quite. Finally I got her to take my name for a call back. Will be very surprised if they call back.

Truly AWFUL experience
February 13, 2021

Site is awful. Promo codes that don't process automatically. In-stock items that magically have no stock. Free Shipping items that don't ship. Agent that 'hung up' when I asked to have my account deleted because of the experience. Completely unacceptable in every way, with no redeeming qualities.

Mind blowing
February 13, 2021

I ordered & paid for an oven, original price $1,299, Lowe's quoted $1717 including tax so they wanted $300 to deliver & install. The Lowe's electrician charged $150 for his electrical work & then Lowe's charged another $150 on top of that. I said ok because I haven't had an oven since end of November. I felt taken advantage of by Lowe's. After the electrician came again to look at the entrance, he decided to tell me that my railings would have to be removed for another $50 and he didn't know what Lowe's would charge me. This was after I already paid & his 2nd visit. I was getting upset by then. I told him the ice & snow & railings would be removed by the time they came. He said ok & left & Lowe's called me and said, "the electrician is uncomfortable with the tile floors in the kitchen being slippery & doesn't feel comfortable doing the job." I just couldn't believe my ears! This really blew my mind! The whining electrician wanted even more money to do an hours work. His attitude was that he's indispensable. Lowe's is overcharging since the pandemic. I know what is involved with the electrical so I happily canceled my order with Lowe's at their request & called Morehouse where I originally went for my current oven and ended up with a better price and a better oven! Last year I called Lowe's for a quote on my current plain deck that was $5,000 to build. Using the existing pattern, Lowe's quoted $15,000 to replace! Outrageous! I will never shop at Lowe's again.

Dishwasher Purchase
February 9, 2021

Recently purchased a GE Dishwasher on line from Lowe's. It was not clear during check out that installation was not included, and adding installation to the order was not an option. After the dishwasher was delivered and left in the Kitchen, had to call Lowe's, sign a service contract, get an estimate, and schedule an installation for additional money that required an additional week to accomplish. Did not have this issue at Home Depot, where delivery and installation was offered at time of purchase.

Employee: David Muresan
February 7, 2021

David is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He went above and beyond what I expected in assisting me in my purchase of a kitchen sink, strainers, and faucet. He was very patient and understanding in explaining what I needed to be ready when plumbers came for installation. I would give him a TOP rating and Lowe's should be very proud and thankful to have him as an employee.

Purchased some roofing tiles on-line, they said they would have them in 2 weeks. They called after 1 week and said they could not get them. FALSE ADVERTISING. They left a message. Offering me the same color - but, of course it 2x as expensive at $63 a bundle and they could not get it to me for 2 months. I called back and the customer service person was so INCOMPETENT, she offered to sell me the same thing that I had been trying to buy and was told they could not get! Try HOME DEPOT - I find them less annoying.

Unprofessional installation services
January 19, 2021

I bought water heater including installation from Lowes Elk Grove CA store. Lowes installer came and installed the water heater. After installation, the water heater is working but the two toilets stop working (unable to flush). I asked the installer to come back to fix the toilets, but they insisted this is caused by pre-existing conditions in the house and refused to fix the problem. I am not having toilets for 3 weeks since the water heater installation.
The toilets are working properly before the water heater installation and was broken after that, it is a common sense that this is not a pre-existing condition, it is related to unprofessional installation and Lowes is responsible to fix it.
