Worst company ever
Worst company ever! Ordered a 12 pk of float tubes online, didn't deliver until a 1 1/2 weeks later after expected date. Then they only sent 4 tubes! Said I had to come back the next day for a refund. Next day they told me the pice was for only 4 even though it said 12pk on their site. Said there was nothing they could do and I couldn't get what I ordered. Not sure how they are still in business. I will never step foot in there again and I'm deleting their app. Don't waste your time with them. Home Depot at least tries to make you happy.
My Trex deck was done in September -October of 2018 by JWC construction. It was put in with no spacing, the board are curling and coming up. I paid $*******. 00 to Lowes who I believed was a reputable company. Was I wrong! There not even willing to send professional to even look at the deck. Its been a nightmare for close to 3 years. When rains I have a pool on my deck. I've given up talking them they've offered me $2500 for what is a $9000 repair job. Do not use Lowes there customer service is ridiculous. I'm taken them to court for not responding to the problem. Also I have a letter from Trex saying problems are due to bad installation.
I was sent in for an interview hired right there on the spot routine. Went through all the training and did what I had to do. The manager said u start ur normal work hours tomorrow night at 10 pm because I was an overnight stocker. The day I'm supposed to start I get a call from a man named Carlos whom I never met saying sorry but we can't keep you. Background came back and ur charge isn't acceptable. So u mean to tel me Home Depot was will to accept it but not Lowe's. On top of that I was honest with them and told them that I had a felony that was in the past that I did my time for and did what I had to do in order to rehabilitate which the crime wasn't even my fault I just so happen to be caught on video. But what I thought is that before you actually hire somebody you do all the background checking and everything that you're supposed to do before you actually tell a person they are hired am I right or am I wrong so I feel Lowe's is not what they say they are when they say they're equal opportunity and they need to be reevaluated. Thank you.
I have had several bad experiences with the Camden, Delaware location. The most recent involved an order I placed on July 7,2021. I received a confirmation email and a follow-up ready for pick-up email. When I arrived at the store, I was told that the order had been canceled. I drove 16 miles to get to the store. Why didn't I get a notification that the order was canceled? Their website still shows that the order is ready for pick-up. However, the store clerk told me that it was out of stock. This is no way to run a business. You just lost another customer.
Ordered a stove for pickup in Athens GA area. Received email and text that it was ready for pick up. Waited close to an hour for them to locate the items. These people are clueless and I unprofessional
We purchased interior paint in satin finish in a bright color to paint a wooden cabinet. We chose "signature" which out of six choices is the 4th. It is described, "Stands up to Anything". We applied it over primer, but it immediately began to chip from the smallest of contact. We had no choice but to purchase another can of paint. This time we bought "Reserve" in a semi-gloss finish. So far it is holding up.
Ordered a garden window in September still waiting. Called complaint department. They called and hang up numerous times. I paid for the window for close to a year and have paid interest on the loan. Lowes lacks the courtesy to return my call. If you have a problem with Lowes. No customer service at corporate level. Gave 1 star couldn't give less
Waited a month for their door installer to come and look at the front entry door for replacement of about 3K. Never showed up never called. Tried for 4 days to contact someone in doors and windows Plymouth store. Could never get anyone to answer the phone called at least 30 times. Waited 30 minuets to talk to store manager he wouldn't come to the phone.
I've been a Lowes shopper for a lot of years. When I opened my small business in 2017 I bought a good deal of my kitchen equipment there, plus work for renovation. Early on I'd call the store and be transferred to a department where the person on the line was full of knowledge whether I had a question about a product I bought or one I needed. By 2017 calling the store routinely resulted in not getting a live person. The closest I came was a live person who transferred me to "Installation" only to be bounced back to the same person who then transferred me to Appliances. Imagine I'd spent $996 on a Kitchen Aid Dishwasher that I wanted to have installed to no avail from the company. The poor customer service, coupled with fewer and fewer employees available at the store suggests the company is trying to save money. The problem is it doesn't work. Customer service still matters a great deal. So today I've decided to shop elsewhere for products.
Just received a "free" offer from Lowe's. Usually ignore these because nothing is ever free. However, I had been thinking about purchasing a back-up camera for my older vehicle. LOWEs offering a "free" one for taking their survey and paying s/h. ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT. Which states after one month I will be billed $95 and change. I guess I need to send LOWEs the definition of free.
Spot lumber prices have been crashing for 10 days. Yet 2x4s remain $8.79 and plywood sheets are remaining at record highs. Why aren't you lowering lumber prices to reflect the lower prices you are now paying?
I ordered a ftidge/freezer in Huntersville to be delivered in Ponce Inlet, FL. I paid for installation but they delivered and just left it for me to unpack and put together and hook up.
It took me multiple tries to get through to customer service. I spent over an hour more than once trying to get assistance. The bot is all I had to work with. Sitting on hold endlessly on a national customer service line listening to the same song in a loop the whole time, is not help. Are they trying to make the customer just hang up and go away? The agent, if you ever get one, always tell you how busy they are. Well, I would like Lowe's to know that I am busy too and so are the other customers who take the time to call for customer service.
I ordered a Larson door online, and got an email when it came to Lowes for pickup, only to find once home that I only had the glass, and not 2 other packages- the handle and the frame. 30 minutes on hold with Lowes, and 2 emails, with no answer, and FOUR times in the understaffed store, 3 hours, with no one finding my packages. Called Larson- they said it was all shipped to Lowes, and a Lowes manager was going to call Larson, and then me, and I got no call. LOWES TRULY SUCKS AND THE SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT. Will push for refund and buy the door from Home Depot.
Went online to check availability of an idem.
Idem in stock left the job site 50 miles round trip. Arrive at Lowes checked Isle location no product. Asked associate for help did not have a clue. Got two other employees involved both said we don't stock it I showed the idem on my phone they told me our inventory is not accurate we are under staffed and over worked.
This is the Conway location. I shop here ONLY because it's the closest store. It never used to be like this. I would give it a lower score if I could.

Cant read that I order a 2 piece toilet and I got tank what am I suppose to do with a tank no toilet lost my order and my husband is ill they dont care at ALL!
Legit have been on yhr phone going on well OVER 4 fU&*EN hours being transferred from one department to another and right back to where I started. RIDICULOUS! Bought a freaken Kobalt drill for my husband with my Lowes card that I haven't even had for 4 years. Kobalt has warranty on their things for 5 years. I bought the drill less than 1 year ago, hardly use it but it doesn't work and we can't exchange because I need the recipe. What the hell happened with my credit card having a history of what I've bougbt!?!?!?!?!

Ordered an item online and was given an expected delivery date. On that day it was not received but when I checked the lowes site it was still showing delivery that day. It did not arrive. I checked the lowes site again and it gave another date of 4 days away. It did not arrive. When checking again it still showed delivery that day. Checked again at 9pm and it showed the next day delivery. Guess what? Wasn't delivered yet again. This happened 2 more times and finally delivered after the 5th given date.
However, I had to reschedule a carpenter 2x to install the item and lost $100 because of the cancellations and now need to find someone else to install. So... after spending $1000 both online and in stores for the weekend, and now losing an additional $100 plus the cost of finding someone else to do the job... lowes customer service rep and supervisor will send me a 10% off coupon good on my next purchase. Wow... I can find those in sundays paper and mail... and I love it more when they tell you they value you as a customer and dont want to lose your business. You just did. Lost both of my businesses every doing business with your company again. I'll drive the 2 extra miles to go to home depot.
Have zero confidence or trust w lowes anymore. I guess I should have listened to myself the first couple times this type of thing had happened over the years without giving them more chances. My mistake. I cannot trust Lowes any longer.

Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
