Stay far away from this group AND their affiliate Austin Auction Gallery - the online bidding closes and it shows you have the winning bid- then they use your high bid to bid up other bidders on Live Auctioneers site - NICE TRY - my eyes are WIDE OPEN to your predatory practices - at the close of bidding on Austin Auctioneers own site I had the high bid on six lots - all six lots had no other bidders bidding on the items against me which is how I usually bid - MAGICALLY overnight SOMEONE on LIVEAUCTIONEERS apparently won the items - my gut feeling they didn't want to sell the items that cheaply for bottom reserve price so they faked sales to other bidders - SCAM SCAM SCAM don't waste your time on either site - I have photos showing I had the high bid on all six items - it just isn't humanly possible for me to have lost all of them to last minute bidders

I left 2 bids on artwork at auction site, one was low the other was way high compared to starting price. Both were executed correctly and the winning bid on the high bid lot was very low, so I feel they did a good job for me and it was a fair auction.

I love being able to follow auctions over North America but the site navigation could be much better. It should easier to get to auctioneers I follow to see upcoming auctions and I should be able to choose whether simply follow my local auction house or collect a certain type or both. At present it's very confusing and as I only on the site intermittently I just gave up.

They are doing an impossible job. Some people have complained about unethical auction houses. Yes, they are out there... but Live Auctioneers is giving you a terrific shopping experience. If you complain... they will fix it OR take it off their website.

I see items that sell for 1500 dollars and they are listed again after the auction ends. That is extremely deceptive and I won't buy anything there for that reason. Also beware of fake designer items. Handbags ect. Some are real some aren't.

As the online bidding platform, LiveAuctioneers are not necessarily experts on specific items. As the item is in the possession of a specific auction house, they would be the best point of contact to request any information you feel may be missing on the item page. In direct response to your question, all auction house sellers on our platform are screened prior to inclusion on our platform. We then do periodic audits, as well, both directly and then via monitoring review sites and our own feedback scores for each auction house. We have found that is very hard for us to make a subjective judgment on whether a particular item or auction house offers its buyers good value—but, we also believe that all sales should be based upon accurate and transparent descriptions such that there is no tolerance for intentionally misleading information on our site. In the event that we detect questionable behavior, we suspend the auction house from posting future auctions on our site.

Great experience, would like to see all auctions be required to handle in-house shipping for smaller items. Buyers need to consider cost of shipping on larger items before placing a bid.

I have been with Liveauctions for a few months now... its been mostly a pleasant experience... especially with Bk auctions, absolutely fabulous customer service and shipping times, I buy with four other auctions on this site and shipping time is very slow although I pay the invoice as soon as I receive it, not gonna down anyone or mention any names, you know who you are... thank you Bk auctions, excellent service so far... and to liveauctions in general, please safeguard our personal information as hackers are getting smarter as we speak...

But I lost a lot of money because of this auction, they did not refund my certification costs for the counterfeit bills they sold me. They should pay me my expenses and as well as for moral damage.
