I placed an order for a bench with Litfad.CO.UK in February for products which I understood to be in the UK. The item arrived 2 ½ months later. Multiple enquiries with company told me only that the order was in transit.
The DPD driver who finally delivered the parcel said that it had been standing at their depot for many weeks because it was considered to be too dangerously packaged to handle with nails and screws protruding from wafer thin plywood. It also had a hole in it as big as a fist. It stood in the depot for so long that someone put a return label on it. Finally one driver decided to take it on.
On delivery, the „crate" was immediately broken up and disposed of because it was was actually a very nasty thing. When I complained to the firm, Litfad insisted on photographs of all six sides of packaging. I wanted then to return this, shoddily packed item back to Litfad.co.uk and obtain a refund. Litfad insisted that I could either have 15% of my money back (without returning the bench) OR have my money back in full but only if I would undertake the full costs of crating, shipping and customs expences of posting it back to their goods depot NOT BASED IN the UK, but in CHINA. I had paid for the item via Paypal with customer protection, however this did nothing to protect me. Paypal, who only calculated postage costs of returning to inland UK rather than China, ruled in Litfad's favour. I question the legality of this. How can it be allowed under trading standards that this company can trade as though it were based in Britain under a co.uk address and be allowed to place the financial burden of returning unreasonably late, badly packaged or faulty goods at the door of their customers? I advise potential Litfad customers to buy elsewhere and stay well clear of this company. And I may add: Shame on Paypal for not protecting their customers from scam operations like these.

My order was supposed to arrive. However I tried to ask the costumer service why it hasn't arrived yet, why its been about 10 days from costum clearance and it still showing in transit, they stopped responding on a chat! There is no other way of contacting them and my order about $3,500. They ask me to wait patiently and than stopped responding when questions asked! Very disrespectful

The product … 2 x bar stools took 3 months to arrive … I can accept that coming from afar. However
They are different shades completely and marked!
The reply …!
Quote … "There is nothing wrong with the product. We can only apply for a maximum discount of 5%. This small color difference is an objective phenomenon of the manufacturing method in this product and material." Please take my advice and steer well clear … u pay for what u get … two different shades!'

Two weeks have passed since I made my withdrawal request, and I still haven't received the money in my bank account. The money in my wallet mysteriously vanished shortly after I made the request. I chose to contact T O R (REC) IT. C0M as I was not receiving any updates or correspondence, and happily, they helped me retrieve the lost money. Even though the matter was ultimately settled, I was really annoyed by the wait and the lack of communication. However, for their effective intervention in resolving the situation, I heartily endorse T O R (REC) IT. C0M and his crew.

Ripoff Artists

Basically they find furniture designed by other real furniture companies, use AI to generate images based on this furniture, post these images on their site, and then send you a piece of junk that looks vaguely similar. This is the same model used by all Chinese companies — steal other people's work and make shoddy ripoffs. For the love of god, do not buy from this company. If you listen to one review on the internet, let it be this one. Take your money and put towards a product from a reputable company. They also tell people they'll issue a refund in exchange for a good review online — pretty sure that's illegal for a variety of reasons. Never buying anything from China again — won't even eat Chinese food at this point.

This was the worst purchase and customer service experience I've ever encountered. It has taken over 8 weeks to get the product. You're led to believe the product will be with you in just a few days. It's only when you get the email confirmation (yes, received after payment is made) that you're told it'll be five weeks. Well I placed my order on 16 March 2025 and it's finally arrived today, 13 May 2025. I tried cancelling the order and getting a refund and they persistently refused to provide this. The email chain is horrendous with them offering 10% refund then 20% then 30% then their final offer was 40%. They totally refused to provide a full refund and to cancel the order. Utterly disgraceful way to do business. Shop anywhere else. Do not put yourself through what I went through!

I purchased 10 expensive pendant lights. All are faulty. Liftad didn't seem to care and will not refund or replace. I now have to buy 10 completely new lights because of this. The lights had LED bulbs that can only be bought separately via liftad. I bought ten and none of them worked. In order to solve my problem, I would need to purchase another ten of the same glass raindrop pendant lights. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Buyer beware, this place is a scam. They delivered the wrong product, also damaged, then refused to refund before I paid to have the items posted back to them. Because the items were large, it would have cost more to post back.

Horrible company

Do not order from this company! After waiting for a small reception desk for 4 weeks, it cam.famaged and I can't use it. Contacted the company.and after sending pictures of the damage they said they check stuff for quality before shipping it and my piece was quality and offered me 30% off a damaged piece of furniture to keep it. My next step is contacting my credit card company to dispute this charge. Do not order anything from this company.

I bought a display case with light. The material that came with it is of very poor quality, with no instructions in Spanish or English (which is illegal in Spain). I am still waiting for a reply from the customer service and when I try to post a comment on their own page (with this same text, not offensive at all) they block me (I guess because I have only given it one star). Very dissatisfied.

I ordered by in November 2024 a climbing frame for my disabled daughters Christmas present. We are now in April and it still hasn't arrived. Hundreds of emails to and throw and still no where to be seen. They said the courier DHL delivered it and it was signed for. But I haven't had a delivery and did not sign for anything. They pro. Ised to send another one out and never did. I'm a single working parent and carer, that used over 150 pounds that I haven't had a refund for and a devastated child, who was heartbroken that her climbing frame that would of helped her with therapy didn't arrive. This company scams people and don't deliver. They said that you could track the parcel, but when you put the number in, it states it doesn't exist. So if we can not track it how can they? How could they be so heartless. Please do not buy from this company, especially for your children. As seeing a child on Christmas day cry, was cruel 😢

LITFAD = FRAUD

I ordered two of the exact same shelves. I then read reviews about Litfad and emailed the company asking to cancel my order based on the inordinate amount of extremely bad reviews of fraud, poor quality, and terrible customer service. Litfad responded imploring me to continue with the order and then if anything at all was not right, Litfad would refund the order and issue a refund without requiring me to return the items. Against my better judgment, I agreed to see if Litfad could come through. Months after the order I received the first shelf. The quality was very poor. The metal easily bent and the shelf leaned backwards. The second shelf arrived and was completely different—different metal, different shelf sizes. It waded bent and scratched and missing the main components to put it together. I laid the pieces out and photographed it so Litfad could see what was missing. I emailed Litfad about the issues. Litfad responded that the second shelf was exactly the same as the first shelf and no pieces were missing. No refund would issue. Litfad will defraud you. It will take your money and send you junk. STAY AWAY FROM LITFAD. Do not order from Litfad. The company is criminally fraudulent.

Gold shelves

I ordered 3 gold wire shelves from Litfad. Received and loved. I had room for one more set of shelves, so I ordered another. Received weeks later and it was not the same shelves, different design and less quality. It did not match my other 3 shelves as I intended. Litfad promised if I ordered another set of shelves, at my own expense, I would receive the originally order shelves. But after many weeks, once again I received the same incorrect less quality shelves. Now I have 2 shelves that don't match and they are not responding. And they were over $300 each!

Disappointed

The item totally looked different on the website and it was cheap material. It took 2 months to reach and upon arrival there were several items which were missing. On reaching to them it was so complicated. I wasted my money. Please don't buy from litfad

​I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Litfad, an online furniture retailer. After placing an order, the items took several months to arrive, and when they finally did, they were incomplete and severely damaged. Attempts to seek resolution through their customer support were met with unresponsiveness and refusal to take responsibility. Despite providing photographic evidence of the damage, Litfad only offered minimal partial refunds, placing the burden of return shipping on me, which was impractical due to the item's condition and the high cost of international shipping. ​ What exacerbates the situation is that this transaction was facilitated through PayPal Credit. I am astonished that PayPal continues to support a vendor exhibiting such bad faith and questionable business practices, offering little assistance in resolving the matter. This experience has severely undermined my trust in both Litfad and PayPal Credit as reliable platforms for online transactions. ​ I strongly advise caution to others considering purchases from Litfad or using PayPal Credit for significant transactions. Ensure thorough research and consider the potential risks involved.

Avoid Liftlad.com at all costs! This company is an absolute nightmare. I ordered office furniture, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The delivery took forever, arriving in eight separate shipments! After finally getting everything set up, the meeting room desk arrived chipped and completely broken. To make matters worse, their customer service is non-existent—they don't respond to messages or emails. Save yourself the frustration and your hard-earned money—DON'T buy from them!

Bad service

Horrible service after 47 days waiting they sent me broken package, i sent them the pictures and asked them for the full refund they said " Here are 2 options for you:
A. If you keep the item, we will refund 15% of the item price and send reshipment to you;
B. Or we can refund you 30% of the item price without replacement sent; (translated)"
