I've been in this game for several years now and have certainly made plenty of money reselling online. What most people don't understand who try to get into it is that you cannot make money buying from places like this. These guys are resellers themselves, and anything worth selling, they sell themselves. They have a large ebay store, amazon, etc. They sell what is less desired or what is damaged through the auction process. You are literally buying the leftovers of the lots Liquidation themselves gets to resell via their channels. Thus, don't expect anything special to show up in your "lot/pallet". You can certainly make some money buying from Liquidation, but if you value your time, you will realize that the money you made is not worth the time or effort.
If you don't have a good local source, forget even trying to get into this business regardless of what your neighbor or dead beat uncle claims about reselling. The overall industry has slowed down significantly and now more than ever, there are countless trash lots that are being sold on sites like these. The good stuff, nobody is going to sell to you this way unless you have economies of scale already in place. Most of the dozens of lots bought through this website have been small to mild wins at best in the end, so I can't possibly recommend this site to anyone, it's only gotten worse.
Michelle Blalock I would not give you a another shot. You argued and didn't give us the full refund or the $235 we spent on the repair for the oven you guaranteed would work perfectly per you &your repair person. If anyone asks me about your business, I would be honest. Nothing we purchased from you worked including the kitchen light worked and the furniture fell apart or was torn when it was purchased. Definitely not high quality. The only item that did work was the oven vent hood. Wr didn't speak with about it due to the we were treated when we first called about the chair.
I tray one time and I deleted my account its scam and support scammers when I bought phone all is junk no one worked!
Your throwing your money away. Satanic Site, of deceivers- my lot was fishing lot, they do the manifest, but one thing they do they just put a price of retail and give estimate, well if it's broken estimate should be zero, they are quite obvious,eXAMPLE 36 WEIGHTS SCALES, ALL OF THE BROKEN BUT TWO, LITERALLY DIALS, FACES AND ETC TOTALLY BROKEN BUT KNOW THEY LIST IT A NEW RETAIL PRICE- LIKE IT WAS RETURNED AND STILL CAN USE, THEN THEY ARE CLEVER AND PUT IN ADD NOT TESTED FOR FUNCTIONALITY, WHEN IT'S OBVIOUS THE DIAL IS BROKEN OFF, OR THE 13 FISHING NETS, THAT LOOK LIKE TENNIS RACKET, WELL THE RACKETS ARE BROKEN IN HALF AND SOME NETS ARE RIPPED OUT, TOTAL GARBAGE, BUT KNOW THEY LIST THEM AT FULL RETIAL VALUE, AND YOU THINKING YOUR GETTING USUABLE STUFF, ADD SHOULD READ < BROKEN JUNK, BUY AT TOTAL RISK- YOU WILL BE UNHAPPY, AND THEY ALSO t list a empty package at retail-- several of them, total waste. Literally

Bought a lot of unmanifested wholesale returns. Most of the packages did not have labels on them like they were actually ever shipped found numerous items with the shipping address to the surplus shop in New Jersey as if they bought a bunch of items from wish and bagged them up and threw them in a box. Spent entirely too much money for a bunch of trash and the only electronic in the box was an opened and broken bladeless fan from also CHINA. Total scam. MSRP for the box was $5000 and I could have bought everything in the box for $50. Also the bags were opened as if they had looked through them before they let them go just to make sure you wouldn't get anything worth money. Again SCAM.
Bought a lot of "natural turquoise and stone" jewelry. None of what I got matched the pictures. The jewelry was made from plastic. Customer service did not respond, but denied the claim on the grounds that I did not send the support that they asked for. They reopened the dispute so that I could send them supporting evidence that the items were not real. They recommended that I hire a geologist to analyze the stones. So I set a piece of turquoise on fire, revealing clay coated in resin. They still denied the claim, saying that they could not verify that ALL of the pieces were the same... now I get to put everything together and appeal to my bank.
Liquidation.com will protect their scammy vendors, and they do not care about you, the customer.
Do not buy from liquidation.com. They would see you out of business before doing what's right, and they will gaslight and lie to your face with a smile and a pleasant voice.
I have bought quite a few lots and I have been disappointed every time. This will be my last time purchasing from this site. I bought the lot because it had mostly wireless headsets. Everyone of them were broken which means they all should have been in the salvage section. That was $900 down the drain. I won the bid on the wall chargers. I thought they were regular size they turned out to be mini wall chargers. I could understand if a few are broken but can be fix. Almost every item was broken. I am sure every company has an inspection department that look at items when they are returned and no what can and cannot sale. This company is a rip off. I work hard for my money and this company is selling damaged goods and advertising them wrong. Which should require a refund when you deliberately sale items that are broken. Don't buy the shelf pulls they will send you old items that didn't sale 4 years ago. Just beware, they will never respond to your complaint.
I bought a bunk bed (main auction item) that also had 6 other items. There was a pallet load of boxes that I picked up. I discovered that over HALF of the bunk bed pieces are missing. I lodged a dispute, and they said that it was my responsibility to notify them when I picked the goods up. They offered no recourse of action or refund.
Bought a pallet of Lowe's "returns", everything that was shipped was broken or highly used. The major items listed on the manifest were missing, 18 high retail items in total. Customer service sucks and are of no help. Buyer beware.I will never do business with them again
SCAM company selling nothing but TRASH!
I am a new business owner getting ready to open shop. I wish I would have read liquidation.com reviews before purchasing! I hope you are taking the time to read these bad reviews and take them to heart. PLEASE do not buy from this site. They are deceiving and only send junk! I wasn't smart and purchased a lot at once instead of getting one and waiting to actually see it! Don't do what I did, you will be sorely disappointed! I purchased 4 pallets… a lot of 75 sunglasses from a seller on their site(V-TECH USA), and a lot of purses from another seller and some earrings from another … ALL trash! Two of the 4 pallets were of the same items and it stated variety! The sunglasses were sold as name brand and only 12 of the 75 are name brand! The purses are not worth $2 a piece! Cheap and hard and very childlike! I haven't gotten the ear rings in yet. But let me tell you. I am not looking forward to opening the box when it gets here! Not only do they sell nothing but trash in my experience but they also give the buyer no way to return these products! Not even a way to leave reviews for these companies they allow to sell on their site! Now I see why! Because of the pallets liquidation.com sell are trash, then why should they care what they allow others to sell on their site! I called customer service at liquidation.com, and all they could do was tell me to file a dispute! Well, I've tried! It keeps refreshing the page and telling me the auction number and transaction number are wrong! So I'm about to call customer service once again and tell them about this issue and ask them the entire information I need so this dispute will go through. BUT I'm sure my disputes will be ignored because the agent said"well it doesn't state that all the sunglasses are designer sunglasses!" WHAT!? It has a clear photo of all designer glasses and states clearly 75 pair of designer glasses such as…… and more! Yes it says and more and that's where they get you! You would atleast expect half to be designer! But NO! Even the designer ones look to be way out of style and 10,20 years old! Very Disappointed with liquidation.com and I WILL NEVER buy from the scam company ever again!
Half of a Lowes pallet was full of complete garbage; tools obviously swapped out by scumbag consumers and some sort of Lowes racket. They refunded me $18.
Steer clear of these crooks!
Hidden costs, being shipping is insane even for low weight auctions and you don't know how much liquidation.com fee is till auction is over.
Cancelation nightmare, send 3 emails, and 2 msgs on the site to only have them deactivate my account and have me pay more than the winning auction was worth.
Returns, got a auction delivered, everything was broken, missing items, covered in a sludge from a smokers paradise I sent pictures and details of the box received. They closed the return, never contacted me, and when I sent them the pics and details again via their site and to their support email no response. Been a month and nothing. F.U.
Crappy service, no answer to online msgs, or emails, and no customer support on-site, trash.
Site glitches, shows your winning, but your not, and shows the auction current bid on search but not actual current bid.
Mislabeled auctions, auction say they have 100 of something but only 3 of the item and 97 useless items.
We purchased a 'package' of electronic returns from Liquidation.com. The seller stated MSRP was $4011.00, but when we received the package and inventoried the items they sent, the actual MSRP from manufacturer's websites was $1861.25. That's a difference of over $2100 between stated MSRP and actual MSRP. In addition, 2 of the 'big ticket items' in the auction package were airpods, both of which were sealed in their boxes. However, further inspection showed that the items had been replaced with counterfeit/damaged items, and were re-sealed to appear like new. We contacted Liquidation.com, and wouldn't assist us because we tried to sell some of the items before filing the complaint. But unfortunately, we couldn't know the extent that we were defrauded until we sold the airpods and were advised by our ebay buyers that the items were fakes.
Avoid purchasing from this company if you expect to get any decent merchandise or any level of service after a sale.
I purchased a lot of 4 Sony tv's, with the intention of selling them, I opened, they were sold as returns, which supposedly mean they are in good condition with all accessories in them, I opened one immediately and it was more than perfect, and because of the size of theses items I didn't open the test, I wanted to sell them as new in the box, I had one sold and the buyer wanted to tested and when we got it out of the box, it wa nothing but trash, I opened the rest and all was trash, and when I called liquidation customer service, they say you only get 3 days to report damage, you are screwed and have a nice day.
Learn from my mistake! Simple! Don't deal with this company! Read the reviews!
I'm not new to this but this is flat out con game. The sellers on this site are in bed with the operators of the site. I was watching a YouTube videos and thought it was a good idea to bid. I didn't know much and I didn't do a proper research which in the end I will find out to be a really bad idea. I ended up bidding on two actions which I won, I paid immediately and received a confirmation e-mail with what appears to be a UPS tracking number. Everything went downhill from there.
Here is why, the first auction took a long time to even ship. I kept checking the UPS tracking and all it is saying is "Label Created" 2 weeks has gone by and I finally called their customer service. The said it will take 3 to 5 business days to ship and the day that I paid and weekend is not counted as the business day. Needless to say, 1 day before I can officially cancel, the item shipped.
I received it 4 days later, and it was not as advertised. The auction stated, "Refurbished" but "Salvage" would be a more appropriate. The items in the picture was nowhere near what I received. I received 4 Laptop computers with property of school stickers which are nearly impossible to remove without using any types of chemicals and when I did, I just wanted to put the stickers back due to the scratches. It looks like these has been used and re-sued multiple times and has came to it's end of life. The battery doesn't hold charge and trackpad are popping off. The was the first two, the other two was even worse. It came fully charged but when I thought I could use it for something, I tried to re-charge it but two of the power cords don't work. The little rubber gromets on the screen are all missing and has exposed screws. I din't even bother with the last two, I know even the garbage man won't pick it up.
Needless to say, this lot is a loss! They will charge you with "Buyer's premium" on top of sales tax. Then to top it off, the bloated shipping. I was taken for a ride!
Did I say I won two auctions? Oh yes I did, surprisingly, the second auction was cheaper and since I can't back out of it anymore, I may be able to recoup some of my losses on the first auction and thinking that this was just "Luck of the draw".
Well, think again! 3 weeks later, my package still hasn't moved and still showing only "label created", I kept on calling and they keep saying it will ship soon or it is now being prepared for shipping or it is now in transit. Guess again! The ladies over there are bunch of liars! Before the holidays, 23rd of December, I call again and they themselves ran out of excuses and gave me the option to just cancel so I did.
I cancelled and was told that it will take 3 to 5 business days to process the refund and since it's the holidays, only God knows when. Meanwhile, I checked my Liquidation.com account and they still charged me cancellation fee! At this point, I don't want to deal with these fools an will just file it under lesson learned and tuition fee for learning a new scam that people do these days.
Remember, you can't bid without a credit card so make sure you don't compromise your CC and remove it as fast as you can.
Learn from my mistake! I wish I believed the bad reviews online but thought I knew better.
Don't purchase from seller calIed unboxedtreasures from WA! I purchased a box of health and beauty products a month ago from a different seller that I made decent money on reselling and had a good experience. I recently won a auction for "Lot of 15 Packages- High End Boutique Mixed Returns Merchandise" I knew it was 90% scam but was curious and purchased anyway. The packages in the box were clearly newly packaged and had never seen the inside of a Usps truck or the outside world! Haha and all had the same ups label same tracking...this was on Usps owned priority mail marked packages y'all. The seller tried marking with sharpie and ripping some of the tracking labels but not enough to cover his scamming. He purchased cheap items most likely From thrift store. This seller has a few of these auctions ending every couple days that I've seen for the last few weeks. How would someone in Washington end up with 100s of packages from Beverly Hills boutique. Lol I hope this helps someone from being scammed!
This is a total SCAM. Every item I received was USED, FILTHY, YEARS OLD or RIPPED. Definitely NOT BOUTIQUE Items. I wish I had looked at reviews before I made my purchase. I NEVER would have bought this. I am absolutely DISGUSTED and will NEVER buy from them again. This should Not be allowed. 100% SCAMMERS. Take your money to a thrift store and you'll get better stuff. Of course they say AS IS No returns to protect their SCAMMER Friends. I wish I could chose ZERO stars
Bought a load of Home Depot online returns. When received, I found many items missing. I looked at the photos of the pallets and there were several items listed on the manifest that would have been large enough to show on the pallets, they were not even in the pictures. I calculated the weights of everything and it was substantially below the actual weight that was shipped. So two things, they knowingly shorted the shipment before it was even listed. They then charged shipping based on the much higher weight. I addressed with them and got a very modest credit for the missing items but nothing on the shipping. The whole buy wound up being a loser because it was missing some of the best items. So a few words of caution before even considering a bid. Look at the manifest vs the pictures, you will see red flags right off the bat if the listing is short. Look at the weight, if the weight seems very off ( allowing 50lbs or so for the pallets as well) walk away. This is clearly either a conscience effort to screw buyers or pure incompetence.
I won an item from seller Monike1 but never received the item. This was way back in October and until now I have yet to receive my reimbursement for the money I paid,
This was my first time purchasing from liquidation.com. Ive purchased other "returns" boxes and pallets from other vendors so I know how the process goes. I was extremely disappointed in the box that I received. I purchased a "returns" electronics box. Some of the items were broken. One of the big ticket items featured in the main photo had NO product in the box. So disappointing that they are even allowed to do this. A few of the items were cords or what looked like some type of charger. Not recommending this site to anyone!
