I have no idea why this has happened again. I have been a member in good standing for many years and a few months ago my account became inactive for no reason. I reported it and wrote a review here and it was reactived. Now, that I have quite a few points it has happened again, with no explanation. I'm very frustrated and disappointed in this company.
This is an excellent site to take surveys. They have a wide range of different surveys, not to short or too long. They also have a good selection of payment options and process payments in a timely manner.
I signed up for mysurvey and then changed my mind and I may never get rid of them. Weeks ago I signed up for mysurvey but wised up and got out before doing one survey. Once I found out about the legitimacy of this company, I immediately tried to OPT out and cancel even though I'm not completely registered according to them. I finally got to a page for customer service that asked me "what can we help you with?" I thought finally. I told them I do not want to be a member anymore any stop sending me your stupid surveys (7)to (10) times a day & submitted it. Not only did I not get a response but within (15) minutes I received (2) more surveys. That's(4) surveys I received already before 11am today. I had them going to my Spam box anyway.
Keep in mind, when I did try to log in my account for the sole purpose of unsubscribing, I am directed to finish registering with mysurvey.com If I'm not registered, why are you sending me 7 to 10 surveys a day. I'm just going to wait it out, eventually they will stop.
They are scum dogs getting free answers and then they say u got screened out the mutha fukkers! Funny how its always about 95% of the survey that u get screened out. They get there answers and then fuk u off.
I have even contacted AMSRS and they dont give a fuk either the cok sukkers!
I wish I'd read more reviews before signing up to My Survey. Seems I'm not the only one where they suddenly deactivate your account and refuse to give a reason why, nor reply to emails. Fortunately, when they decided to deactivate my account without reason, I had recently cashed in and had a very low point balance, but I see there are others who were deactivated and can't get their money.
UPDATE!
Two months after initially contacting the elusive Emma, I now have a reply which states that they deactivated my account because it was accessed from another country. They also advise I do not use my account at an internet cafe. Well, it gave me a laugh and I deactivated the newly reactivated account. I wonder how many of these generic emails have been sent to others that have complained on this site? Just do yourselves a favour and don't sign up in the first place.
I have spent more than 20 minutes completing quite a few surveys only for the survey not to finalise and points not be paid. You'll now have to do about 5 long surveys, close to 2 hours worth, just to make a unicef donation let alone redeem anything worthwhile.
Don't bother emailing customer service. Just stop doing the surveys (like i have now)!
This company is not honest. I have been doing MS surveys for a few years and couldn't work out why the "suitability" test questions began appearing several months ago NOT at the start of a survey, but in the middle or even right at the END of the survey, as has yesterday again just occurred! Then a screen appears advising 'you've done this survey before' (which isn't true) or "you're not suitable to do the survey"! Being placed in the middle or at the end of course means the company gets your answers and data, and doesn't have to pay you for your precious time in doing the surveys! It gets ripped away before you can complete it. This is NOT what was promised me when I signed up with MS. I signed up to honestly answer PAID surveys - not have them ripped off before I could complete them! When I complained I was told I 'hadn't finished the survey' and that's why I "couldn't" be paid!" I've never struck this dishonesty with ANY other survey company. Don't waste your time - My Survey are CHEATERS. P.S. After many months since writing this review and reading other posters' comments about all the data being collected but MS then shutting them out, I'm starting to wonder if this even may be a front for ID theft!
I had been a member of this group since 2006. I had a few problems along the way, but mostly they would give me credit for surveys and allow me to redeem my points for rewards. Recently, they put my account into an "inactive" status for no reason that I can figure. I lost over 5500 reward points. They have not responded to my emails. Over the last decade, I tried dozens of survey sites and this was one of the few that I tried to stick with. I am very disappointed with this site after all this time. Become a member at your own risk and don't forget that the hours and hours you might spend filling out surveys, might not get you many rewards.
I've been a member for several months and all of a sudden the past 2-3 days every time I try to open a survey it closes before I even see a question (let alone respond to a question) and their website says I failed their "honesty detector" for that survey. How could I possibly fail any "honesty detector" when I didn't even see one question let alone even have a chance to answer even one question?!?!?! This company is unethical and engages in highly questionable practices. Their customer service takes months to respond and then all they send is a canned reply that is non-responsive and useless.
Like others here have stated, you'll work on a survey for 15-20 minutes--sometimes more!--and you'll "screen out," which means you're not the demographic they're looking for and the survey abruptly ends. It should NOT take that long. I have also spent as much as an *hour* on a survey only to get to the last screen and get an error message. I've lodged complaints three times, but no one ever replies or awards the missing points. They have a consolation prize called "sweeps entries" that they give you instead of points if you screen out, but sweeps entries do not add up to anything as far as I can tell. I can't even find out on the website what they are and/or how often these "sweepstakes" take place. If you find yourself stuck in one place all day--you're a receptionist, say--and need something to occupy yourself, you may want to try your hand at this. But by all means don't spend valuable time if you could be doing something productive.
Most of the time when I begin a survey, I get a spinning ball and after five minutes or so simply go back in the browser. I have reported this problem to them on more than fifty surveys and they never respond. Don't bother with these c incompetents
I have twice now missed out on points I am very disappointed at the in-action from My Survey to attend to my complaint.
Been using it for some time and make some money through a points system. You obviously don't make a lot of money but you used to be able to make some through Paypal and lately I have been getting air miles instead or the paypal cash... Now they have cancelled paypal cash unfortunately and the air miles expire and cost a bit more to cash in now
They send loads of surveys to you that aren't very long and I've got quite a few product samples as well. They pay well for surveys in my opinion and I usually earn £30 every 3 weeks.
I've been a member of MySurvey for a number of years and have found the frequency of survey invites and ones I qualify for are adequate. And I've never had an issue with not getting my points after I've successfully completed a survey. I've been burned enough times during surveys though that I write down the survey number before starting in case I get "technical issues" right at the end of the survey when they start asking about you the demographic questions. Usually I just email customer service and the points get put in my account. My one big issue is always having to log in and take surveys at a desktop -- I've tried a few times with my iPad and my account gets deactivated. Usually it's not a problem to have it reactivated, but this time it's been about a month and I've emailed customer service 3-4 times and gotten no replies, nor has my account been reactivated. Definitely not a good business practice!
I regularly take part in surveys and there are some great websites which really do give you great compensations. But GlobalTestMarket is just a waste of time.
They send me tons of invites saying there is a survey matching your profile. Once I am halfway through a boring survey hoping that I just need to answer a few more questions and I will get your points, I get a message that you have been screened out. 90% of the times I am screened out of a survey after having answered most of the questions which feels like a waste of time.
So I decided I will just redeem the points I have and close my account. They do not let you redeem points unless you have 1000 points in your cart even though there are many gift cards which are of much lower value. This is the first survey site where I saw this.
So I contacted the customer care saying I would like to close my account and before closing I would like to redeem the points I have accumulated for a gift card for the same points which is there in the website. I get a reply saying how to close the account nothing regarding the points. I emailed back still no reply.
So guys stay away from this site. Its a waste of time. They will take your details and your time but would in no way compensate you.
I am very frustrated. I have done surveys for My Survey/Lightspeed for several years. I have about 12.00 owed to me and now I cannot sign in and they do not respond, even after contacting them 5 times. I filed a complaint with the BBB in NJ where their home "office" is but have only received an acknowledgement that they had been contacted and were waiting for a response.
I've been a member of GlobalTestMarket for only a month and within that month I was able to receive 2 $25 amazon gift cards. They e-mail you constantly about new surveys, some surveys even sent me products to try out. I think the only problem is the amount of points you have to have to receive your pay out. 1000 points is the number of points to have to redeem anything, BUT once you have more than 1000 points you'll receive what you redeem within less than 10 business days. From the survey websites I've tried this is the best one.
In fairness to them, they have other available redeeming options now unlike before it's only by US Check. Around 50 points being the highest reward which is quite low as compared to other companies thereby making redemption quite slow. Don't post message to them through Facebook as they rarely answer & late replies via email.
The app is lame, you get 40¢ surveys and 30¢ for stupid questionnaires. When you do get big surveys like $7.50 an hour then you're never paid. Just emailed today about the 9 places I visited and wasted gas on and got called a whole lot of nasty things plus a liar of all things. This is the most unpridictable and unprofessional business/organization I've dealt with. Please don't waste your time like me.
Answer: I don't think anyone has the answer for that one. There are a lot of us in the same boat. You can email 'Emma' but I wouldn't hold your breath for a reply. Just advise anyone thinking of joining My Survey not to bother.
Answer: It might pay for a little while, then judging by the reviews on here including my own, they deactivate your account giving no reason and if you've got money you haven't claimed you won't get it. If you pester 'Emma', eventually she sends emails telling you they deactivated your account because your account was used in another country or internet cafe. It would seem this happens a lot. I would say if you're going to try it, don't let any points build up before you cash out because you're likely to be disappointed.
Answer: I never felt this as a scam since I have already recieved my gift cards in a short span of time.
Answer: Typically it may take upto 5 days for the PayPal to transfer the amount to your account. One thing you have to note that the e-mail for the LifePoints account and PayPal account should be the same, which I faced due to which some delay happened to me.
