Ordered an AC that was in stock, order never delivered. The take your money and never update you the item is no longer available. When I was going to order another AC more expensive too they have no intentions of compensating like providing free shipping. The customer service people just say "sorry" 200x. Not only would I never buy a product from this company but would actively let my friends and family know how bad LG is and to go with another other brand on the market because I never had such an aggravating experience. "Life's Good"
I figured that what I spent for a 65" TV that I could watch my dvd's and connect to my digital Denon receiver. I was wrong. I have purchased the connectors and nothing works. I have specialized instructional DVDs and cannot watch. Should have gone with Sony or another MFG with supported connectors.
Pathetic service, could not repair the refrigerator even after more than 1 week time. Same old excuse part is not available
I bought a top load LG washer. It has never cleaned my clothes well. There is no center agitator and it is supposed to be water and energy efficient. It is not. My clothes come out with totally dry spots and still dirty. I have to always use the add water feature just to try t get them all in water which doesn't always work. A lot of times I have to wash clothes twice. The machine also forms an air pocket under the clothes during the wash cycle and they never get pulled down into the water. I have called LG customer service many time, spending hours on the phone with them and gotten nowhere. I've done everything including having the repair technician check it, as they requested. It's a design flaw, not a broken machine. Very, very frustrated!
LG Diswasher I do not recommend this product to anyone. Ours was trash after 14 months. Start button didn't work. No help from customer service from the Philippines! They put you on hold and then hang up the phone. The warranty was over after a year we agreed for to pay a flat rate fix for $300
Tech came but didn't have the right part changed different part he was sure that was going to solve the problem at the end he told us he can put it down we canceled the appt that way we will be able to get $125 back. I called the customer service again and again answering the same questions over and over again then they told us we have to wait 30 days to receive the part

Bought a new fridge 3 months ago went out still waiting for parts which has been 2 weeks and they will NOT gives us a NEW fridge so frausting dealing with these LG people no one is on the same page and give you 100 excuses wake up stand by your product and do the RIGHT thing DO NOT BUY LG terrible products and company
It should not take me all day JUST to register my new product. My husband and I tried several times each using a different email address. We tried signing in to our existing account and also tried to make a new account and NOTHING works! I also followed the instructions to email a complaint to the "President" and I also got an error trying to send. We tried from a PC and from our phones and nothing works. We just wanted to register, how frustrating! I want to return my product if the website is this bad. We have been trying ALL day. Ridiculous. DO NOT BUY LG!
This was just emailed to LG by me: These are my broken dishes because your dishwashers are a POS. I boought this new. I have had 4=5 service calls I think. Well, they can't fix BAD ENGINEERING AND NOW ALL MY DISHES ARE BROKEN AND THERE IS GLASS ALL IN THE BOTTOM OF THE WASHER. The arm just sits on the plastic rack as you know. MS. Now I have no dishes and i can't use the dishwasher because i can't get down on the ground and pick all the broken pieces of china out of the bottom. I want all my dishes replaced as well. This is terrible selling ppl these machines. I myself have been putting the arm back on for 3 years now but now i have no dishes to wash and couldn't if i did due to the china all over the inside of the washer. I want something done about this. Now i am dying. I can't stand up to do dishes...not that i have many left now.
LG service center cheated me and charged me a hefty amount for repairing my AC which is still not working. This AC was repaired twice under AMC in 2018 and later. This time in 2021 repair was carried out in batches. First, they changed PCB and gave me the bill, the second time, after ten days, they changed the indoor unit coil and shared the bill, again after ten days, they changed the outdoor unit coil and shared the third bill; repeatedly thrice, I wrote to the escalation team and every time they canceled my service request as I refused to pay any more money for repairing this AC. I will surely file a case against this unethical practice by LG and publish my case in leading newspapers so that other customers should know about this. The escalation team is also a dummy and useless.
Bought an LG Refrigerator just under 10 years ago, the appliance stopped cooling so I called LG customer service to see if my 10 year warranty covers it they said it's out of warranty which doesn't make sense because it's a 10 year warranty and I had it for 9. I ended up paying a flat fee for $400 had a tech from Alberta appliances to come in and repaired it, 17 days after there was another error (f dh) I called LG and they denied to fix and wanted to charge me another flat fee if $400 to have the tech come in again. They said the issue is not related to the previous issue and won't cover the cost. I hear from a lot of my friends their LG appliances stopped working for them after a few years also and going through their LG customer service and policy is horrific all they wanted to do is make more money of you. Never ever again will I buy another LG product! Bad appliances defective and not functional.
On Friday, August 19,2022, after sending all of the required and requested information to LG, we were advised "Great News!...our $809.99 refund has been approved." We never received our refund. Then on Saturday, October 1,2022, we received a text message advising "...you have received a refund." We did not receive the refund. On April 19,2023, I sent a letter via UPS to Thomas Yoon, President & CEO, providing all of the text messages, which included confirmation our $809.99 refund had been approved. Then today, I get a text message advising "...Please note that your refund will be delayed unless all information is collected and matches what I have provided to you in this message." So, even though I provided ALL the required information, received confirmation they have received all of the required information, they expect me to resend everything to them. They are liars! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LG! Plus, it's apparent, I am not the only customer who has been shafted by this corporation since they have such a low rating. If I could have given NO STARS, I would have!
So we purchased LG TV and we could not connect to WiFI although our other devices are able to. We tried to troubleshoot it, but it did not work. When I provided the zip code to the first agent he provided us Texas and insisted that there is none in California!?! Next agent provided one in Napa, 58 miles away from Brentwood, but that and the other service centers do not cover our area.
Joe (in AZ) came out to look at our dishwasher and fixed it in 5 minutes. Then offered to look at our ice machine in our refrigerator and fixed that in 5 minutes. Did not charge a dime and was very pleasant!
Have been trying to get warranty service on LG topline washer for a WEEK. Calls NEVER returned or CUT OFF. Spent hours each day and service representatives cut you off even with polite explanations of your issue. My next reports will go regulatory government agencies. LG DOES NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES. PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK! 1 year warranties are a sham and are not a commitment. Their motto "Life's Good"? More like "Life's GARBAGE" when it comes to LG service.
Recently purchased this unit. Washer line for drainage too short. Discharge extension kit advertised by LG. Subcontractors are used by LG for parts ordering. These subs don't get orders properly filled. Have received a "substitution" which does not fit and a dishwasher extension line, despite my ordering the part with it's LG number. When you get a substitution, you have not authorized, Encompass sends a statement that return authorization requires "approval." When you call, a robot asks dumb questions like "how long has this been a problem?" You get nowhere. Then you are told that for $5 you can reach a "specialist."
Seems obvious LG sells only-- there is no avenue for reasonable assistance. If you buy from a big box store like Home Depot, as I did, you can't return without penalty after you've spent weeks
Just trying to obtain install parts (you didn't know were needed prior to delivery). Parts aren't stocked at purchase points. So, my buying a glamorous and expensive LG unit is a disappointment indeed. Will be making an adaptation of some kind myself and never purchasing LG again.
Buyer beware! I have an LG sxs insta view. Have had problems with frost in freezer. Called customer service for repair. 1st attempt failed to correct. New door and seal ordered and replaced. FAILED! Called Cust. Service a 3rd & 4th time their tech was rude and said my floor was uneven which caused the problem. WHAT? Are you kidding me? Now the freezer door is not flush with refrigerator door, and loose. Called LG customer service several times to resolve these issues. No repair techs came x4. WORSE EVER SERVICE AND APPLIANCE! Called a local appliance repair service and was told they've had problems dealing with LG and will NOT WORK ON LG APPLIANCES!
Horrible experience i have with lg...i bought a fridge from lg 1 year 3 months ago...now the cooling system is not working...the mechanic is asking for 3000 to fix the fan... literally extreme harassment i faced from lg.no help is getting from them...
IF I COULD GIVE LG A 0, I WOULD. I PURCHASED ALL LG APPLIANCES, MICROWAVE, STOVE, DISHWASHER, REFRIGERATOR, TV, WASHER AND DRYER. WITHIN 13 MONTHS THE OVEN DOOR WOULD NOT STAY CLOSED. WITHIN 2 YEARS, THE DISHWASHER COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING. WITHIN A FEW MONTHS, THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR WOULD NOT STAY CLOSED, THE DRYER STARTED EATING MY CLOTHES. PRIOR TO BUYING LG, I HAD ALL GE APPLIANCES. IN THE 20 YEARS, I HAD GE PRODUCTS, I NEVER HAD TO GET REPAIRS, NOT A SINGLE TIME. THIS IS AN AWFUL COMPANY, WITH POOR QUALITY, CHEAPLY MADE PRODUCTS. I PRAY THIS COMPANY GOES OUT OF BUSINESS BEFORE ANYMORE HARD WORKING PEOPLE WASTE THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY. AS A DISABLED AMERICAN, I AM STUCK WITH THESE TERRIBLE APPLIANCES FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 10-15 YEARS BECAUSE I CAN NOT AFFORD TO BUY NEW ONES. PLEASE DO NOT BUY LG, TRUST ME. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!
We purchased an expensive refrigerator from LG two years ago. Right before the extended warranty ended the refrigerator stopped cooling. They sent a repairman and worked again for a month. Recently the company sent me a video of how to remove the doors. LG DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM BY A SAMSUNG INSTEAD.
I have been having issues with my TV since the date of purchase. I have accommodated LG over the 5 months while they try and resolve the issue. Including taking 2 days off work to HELP the tv repair guy attempt a repair. I have also moved my router 2 times and done countless different troubleshooting ideas at the request of LG. I have been on hold for close 9 hours total and it still does not work. Now they want to send a 3rd technician to my house to replace the same parts that have already been replaced. When is enough, enough? I spent over $2,000.00 on a tv that will not stay connected to the WiFi and they refuse to own this issue. No one will call me and they keep asking for the same information over and over. The supervisor was suppose to call me back that same day and a week later nothing. LG deserves NO STARS!
Answer: They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)
Answer: THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SEND OUR REFUND AFTER PROMISING WE HAD SENT THE REQUIRED INFORMATION.
