If there was a ZERO stars that is what this company would get for their customer service. My LG washing machine that I purchased SEVEN months ago has broken already. It is sitting there with a tub full of water and will not drain or spin out. I've already spent HOURS on the phone and website trying to get service scheduled for this machine which is in warranty and have gotten NOWHERE. Talked to a foreign person I couldn't understand on the customer support and he was unable to find any appointment times for our area and begged off the call saying that someone would call me within 48 hours. This was AFTER I had already filled out a service ticket on the LG website which gave me a ticket number and the promise that I'd be called as soon as possible. Have not heard a word from them either. And here I sit with a washing machine full of water that won't drain and that I can't move out because it is currently too heavy to move. I had to fish out the rugs from this mess and do my best to wring them out and put them in the dryer, which took about 5 hours to dry because of how wet they were. This is the worst experience I've ever had with trying to get an appliance repaired and over my 50 years of marriage, that has been A LOT of appliance repairs. These guys top the list for poor service. If you buy and appliance from them you better firmly cross your fingers that it doesn't break because if it does, all I can say is LOTS OF LUCK!

Terrible

I bought a new LG washtower. The dryer never worked and the washer broke in the first 6 months. I spent 6 months calling LG and waaayyyy too much time trying to get them to honor the warrenty. It was finally accepted and parts were ordered, but never came. When I called to inquire, they said my case had been closed. Every call is taken in the Phillipines and no one cares or connects the story correctly, so I had to start over every call. The managers and higher-ups aren't accessable. They say they will call back but don't. I've never had a worse experience with a company. It was totally unprofessional and we lost out in the end, giving away the tower and buying a better, used Whirlpool.

Do not buy LG products or their warranties. I bought my LG refrigerator thinking I made a good choice. NOPE. Stopped working on my 3 months later. Called the warranty in. LG Tech came to my home and told me that the product won't be able to be repaired until a month later. Time passes and I'm informed that someone can repair. On the day of repair no one shows up. No phone call. No notification. So now I'm here with a refrigerator that doesn't work. Their services are piss poor.

Ordered a washer. When it was delivered, they told me it was not possible to get my dryer out of my laundry room in order to put the new washer in. As though my house had been built around the dryer and it had never come in or out of that doorway. The delivery men were rude, the woman who called me to tell me that my dryer would not come out was rude. Especially when I pointed out that this made no logical sense since it had gone in in the first place. They then asked if I wanted them to leave the washer in the middle of my kitchen. I said no, I'll just order from Best Buy as they had successfully installed both a washer and a dryer over the past several years despite the "fact" that the dryer was supposedly permanently stuck in the laundry room as I apparently bought it from IKEA and assembled it inside the laundry room myself. The next day I got an email confirming the successful delivery of my washer. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them explaining repeatedly that I was not in possession of any new washer.

Three weeks later I still did not have my refund. I had called multiple times at this point- each person told me there was no documentation of previous phone calls. About a week after that, my refund was issued but they charged me a $55 restocking fee for returning the washer. So let me get this straight. Your delivery people were rude and also unable to take correct measurements. You told me you could not install the washer because removing my dryer was an impossibility. So I had no choice but to return the washer. And now you're charging me for it? I'm honestly astounded at the horrible customer service through this entire experience. I am frustrated and if I can prevent anyone from going through LG, I will do my best.

Best Buy delivered my new washer/dryer set today. They had no difficulty removing my dryer and were in and out of my house in less than 45 minutes. Paying them a little more was absolutely worth it and I will never deal with LG again.

I purchased a washer and dryer, refrigerator. The dryer didn't work out of the box and it would have taken them 2 weeks to get me a new one so I return that. After having the refrigerator less than 2 weeks it froze our food then didn't keep everything cold. Calling lg is a joke we had 2 service techs set up and they never showed. This is the first time I have bought lg and will he the last. I'll go back to Samsung

LG FRIDGE A NIGHTMARE!

Bought LG fridge through Lowes. Purchased extended 4 year warranty. Had problems in first year of freezer over freezing. Fridge/freezer was repaired and worked for a while. June 7,2023 freezer stopped working. Called warranty service and it took 5 days to get a technician out. Replaced the compressor and for 1 1/2 weeks the fridge/freezer worked. Then again, freezer stopped working. Technician came out 2 days later and couldn't find a problem. Started up fridge again and then for 1 1/2 days it worked and then failed again; and of course, on a Friday. I was told by Lowe's warranty, LG and technician that I'd have to wait until Monday. Technician came out and advised that freezer mechanism has to be replaced and by Thursday, possibly, the part may be in. In 6 weeks fridge/freezer only worked for 1 1/2 weeks which is unacceptable! My food spoilage has exceeded their claim amount of $250. LG customer service is terrible! Who can be without a fridge for weeks in the Summer! LG should replace the fridge/freezer with a new one!

IF I can give LG a ZERO, then I would select that instead.

LG refused to refund me for my tv I purchased (LG Nano). The tv broke down 2 months after buying it, LG made me jump through hoops just to finally get a technician to fix it, but they cancelled the repair after a week which my tv wasn't fixed and still with the technician. Then I was told I will get a full refund instead. BUT AT THE END, they completely refused the refund and Jarmine from LG was completely rude, talked over me, and put words in my mouth. SUPPOSEDLY customers are able to email LG president and I complained TWICE via email, but him/her has completely ignored my emails and complaints. Leadership lead by example so I can clearly see why Jarmine was rude and the other customer service representatives are incompetent in their work because their president refuses to answer or acknowledge the refund which their employees told me I will get. FALSE STATEMENTS!

I bought a fridge GL-T382TPZX online from www.lg.com/in. A defective item is delivered to me with lots and dents and whole body is giving electric shocks. Even Frost free features is not working.
I raised several complaints and follow ups. It's been more than 15 days, everytime they just tell me to wait for some more time, but there is no action taken at all.
They deliberately sends leftover defective items and later tells that concern team will call to resolve the issue but no one calls back.
Don't ever buy LG products specially online.

I am one of the customers of your AIR CONDITIONERS who is regretting why I went for LG Product and Feels completely cheated. Now here is the full shocking story.
I bought an LG Air Conditioner 1.5 months back. 12 days back AC stopped working. I called customer care and raised a complaint. Your technician came checked opened the both indoor and outdoor unit of new AC which is only 1.5 a month old and he told there is issue in outdoor PCB, they will replace it for that they have to order PCB (Which has taken 4 days). 4 day's back they came with PCB which has taken a week in this hot summer. And tried to replace the outdoor PCB but still the issue persists. Again they opened both Indoor and Outdoor wasted 2-3 hours but nothing happened and Issue still persists. Now they are telling us there is an issue in Indoor PCB also and we will change it. So I am requesting you to please replace my AC unit or else return my money. I am getting fed up with your machine. I am a Fed up with your representative. I don't want to go with LG. Till now both units have opened and closed at least 40- 50 times. If this is the quality of your product then why are you selling?. The biggest problem is all your team members are non-responsive. No one is picking the call. I am not getting any status on what is going to happen next. I feel like Cheated. For the last 10 days My AC has not been working and No one from LG is bothered. You people simply cheated the customer. I am fed up with you people. Requesting you to please replace my AC Unit else take it back and refund my money. I am calling, trying to get whatever possible way to get status but No one is ready to pick the call. I got one number of your employees named "Akash Kumar" in Patna. First time he picked up the call after listening to my issue, he also stopped picking my call. You people are simply making substandard products. Please don't cheat the customer and replace my both units (Indoor/OutDoor).

One more thing also add the Tag line to your product "Waste Your Money on your OWN RISK".

Upon the first use, our LG dishwasher gave the dishes- particularly glassware- a strong smell similar to a riverbank with submerged, slimy roots and vegetation. At the beginning, the smell would sometimes not occur until about 20 minutes after the cycle ended, but it would last indefinitely on dishes put into the cupboard. The dishes would hold this odor, even when completely dry, unless we rinsed and dried all the dishes by hand or set them all out on the counter for 3 days to air out.

On my first 2 warranty service calls to LG, 5-12-21 and 6-7-21, the technicians recognized an odor but could find no mechanical issues with the machine. The 3rd time I called, on 6-7-2021, LG refused to send someone to my house, saying that they would not send someone for the same issue since they found nothing at the last service call. (Incidentally, a technician told me that if LG has to send someone 3 times for the same issue, the policy is to replace the machine.)

For the next 2 years, despite efforts to clean and drain the machine, try different cycles, and various dish washing products, the smell continued to get worse and worse. Eventually, when we opened the dishwasher after any cleaning cycle, our entire downstairs would reek like a riverbank.

On 6-23-2023, I tried again to get some satisfaction from LG. After several calls, hours on the phone and weeks of waiting, my case was escalated to the Presidential Liaison. I was told that the best they could do was give me a courtesy check for $100 for my troubles, and a rebate for 20% of the machine cost. I expected $100 plus $206. I did receive the $100 check, and then I received a coupon off the price of my next LG appliance purchase for $58 with a notice that the case was closed.

After 2½ years of dealing with stench, we replaced the LG dishwasher with a Bosch model a couple weeks ago – NO MORE SMELL.

I bought an LG Nano cell 55 inches smart TV in Feb 2023. Within 2 months the power in the TV automatically turning off though Switch is on. I complained to customer care they inspected and said it is due to power fluctuations and suggested to put a stabilizer. I did the same but again the problem araised and even after 2nd complaint they informed it is electricity problem. I asked them to bring their electrician and fix the problem as in the past I called electrician multiple times and they said problem is there in the TV only not in electricity as all other electronic items are working fine. These people didn't brought electrician and changed the mother board. Even then the problem was not resolved and even now we lost some smart features in the TV. I complained them again and asked for replacement as it is in warranty. Infact I have taken the extended warranty as well. No resolution till date. Really so frustrating with this kind of service.

Worst technician I've ever had. Manuel Lagarde is argumentative, incompetent, and it's been to my house twice and has not fixed the issue with my less than year old LG dishwasher. LG has made it almost impossible to schedule a repair with all of the hoops, that have to be jump through to schedule something. On the two occasions, I have managed to schedule a repair they sent an incompetent repairman who couldn't get the job done twice. To top off the situation he was rude and dismissive and wouldn't listen to my issue. He was in and out of the house in 10 minutes both times, claiming there was no issue. However, I wouldn't have had to schedule a third repair if the issue was resolved the first two times. Each time I call LG I have to resubmit all the information I have previously. To say the process is frustrating is an understatement. Never again will I buy an LG product.

No respect for the customer

I do not recommend any LG product, let alone a washing machine. I bought a machine last October 2022, and less than 10 months after purchasing it, it is totally rusted. I called customer services because I supposedly had a one year warranty with the manufacturer and they told me that this was cosmetic damage and that it was not covered by the warranty. It seems to me a lack of respect to the customer who pays so much for this product. I do not recommend their products and their service is very poor.

INFERIOR SHELVING

I am telling everyone I know NOT TO BUY LG PRODUCTS. The shelving, drawers and supports in my refrigerator began to crack within 2 years after I purchased it. I finally emailed customer service when they became dysfunctional. Because the parts were out of warranty, they were no help at all. I even offered to buy new parts at cost. No help. A year later the glass shelving shattered because its support had failed. A call to LG customer service resulted in the same. Still no help from LG. The cost of replacing all the broken parts is $500. You would be shocked to see the pictures there are plenty more I didn't add, including my son's bloody foot from stepping on shattered glass.

Horrible Product

LG tech wasn't a good one. Told me nothing he can do everything states it's fine. Yet clothes don't dry. He wasn't a good person to come to my home. The product is faulty and no one stands by it. Run from this company and learn from my mistakes

LG sold me a broken refrigerator that cost me and my wife the equivalent of hundreds or thousands of dollars of money and wasted time. They sent repairmen who broke it even worse. They did not honor their warranty. Now, they won't leave me alone--despite numerous phone calls, they keep sending me letters trying to sell me more of their terrible products or extend their useless warranty. They are the worst company, by far, I have ever dealt with.

I contacted LG customer service 6/14 about a removable film on a new TV. I was told by LG that there is indeed a film on the TV screen that is supposed to be removed. When I tried to remove the film, it seemed too difficult so I called again 6/15, I was on the phone for 1.5 hours. I sent pictures and was told to try to remove the film further. I stopped because the flaking of the product did not seem like a film. I was told I would be contacted back by LG. I had to call again on 6/19 and then was told by the agent that the film I was trying to remove is a "polarizing filter" and that it is not supposed to be removed. She informed me that the damage to the corner of the film (that has now been peeled off due to the instructions sheet and my first interactions with customer service) is not LG's problem. And that there is no documentation that the agents told me to keep peeling. I object to this denial of direction - if one listens to the tape of the 1.5 hour long conversation, they will hear my hesitation and LG's direction. Sam was the LG agent. I then spoke to Ann a supervisor who did not ask me a single question when she got on the line, she told me that she had talked to Sam and that the issue is not covered by LG. I let her know that she did not start the conversation properly at all - she didn't even want to hear my story until I insisted that she listen. They suggested that I take the TV back to where I purchased it - this is unacceptable service. The case got escalated and a representative from the "presidential" customer service told me emphatically that this is simply cosmetic damage and is not covered by LG even though LG told me to keep scratching at the film which turned out to be the polarizing filter. Figure that out! I will not be purchasing LG products again. Perhaps I can save you folks a problem - purchase another brand.

My LG Inverter Direct Drive Washer only lasted TWO years.
The repairmen said they only last THREE to FIVE years, with some lasting as short as ONE year.
This is ridiculous.

Buy a Speed Queen. They are built like the old washing machines and we'll give you at least 10 years.
