I got a refrigerator from them 8 years ago suddenly a month ago my freezer went down. I called LG customer service they said I was out of Warranty and they'll send a technician 2 days later. I requested someone sooner so they recommended me to a company they're affiliated with. Within a day the fridge wasn't freezing the way it's supposed to again. Eventually Everything defrosted.The company they sent me to had no technicians available for 2 weeks so I took none of their technicians for $631.00. They came and the refrigerator was working just fine for 4 days and then it went out on me again and all of my food defrosted. I called them and they are taking about 3 days to send someone to see what else can be done. It has been a living Hell not having a working freezer and refrigerator in the middle of an ongoing heatwave. I have a back up plan in place. I ordered a freezer and a munu fridge just in case they can't fix it tomorrow or it happens to break down again after their alleged "repair" The moral of the story is DO NOT purchase ANYTHING from them. You're Welcome!
I purchased all my kitchen LG appliances including my refrigerator with model LMXC*******S from best buy back on 2017. My Fridge stopped cooling so I tried calling best buy where purchased it from and was told to call LG. I was told the compressor has warranty for 10 years but I would have to pay labor which is around $720.00. I purchased all my appliances LG but now I regret when I find out about the class action lawsuit. It is very disappointing to find out how many people are having the same problem with the compressor and being asked to pay for labor for problem that was known by LG. I also had the w worst costumer service experience over the phone an LG person who claimed to be a supervisor. He was doing something else while taking to me so he took forever to answer my questions. I constantly had to ask him if he is still there. So finally I just thank him for wasting my time and asked to transferred to do the survey. He said ok and hung hung up the phone on me. Good job LG for screwing your costumers and and treating us with no respect. I might have lost money and my time to LG and will never get help from LG to resolve the issue but one thing I want to do is I want to make sure this doesn't happen to more consumers. DO NOT BUY LG
Design and manufacturing flaws prevent the water filter on the new refrigerator from being replaced. LG is not replying to my emails and only sent a list of third-party repair shops for me to pay OUT OF POCKET for a MANUFACTURING DEFECT. Never, ever buy an LG appliance. They are faulty. You will get NO support, and a worthless warranty. Now I am stuck with a fridge that can't even hold a water filter or I can pay $500 to get LG's design/manufacturing issue fixed by a third party. This is an appliance that is less than 3 years old.
My LG Dishwasher is 5 years old and now broken the 2nd time. They pushed a $345 repair appt and said could cancel with 1 day notice. I called with 3 day notice and the call through 3 and several long holds, 33 min in all, finally got the appointment canceled. Also $345 repair hold charge (90 day warranty) against $400-500 (1 year warranty) for a new unit is just a no Brainer. I trashed an LG microwave after 5 years and now an LG Dishwasher after 5 years. With this last repair/replacement dealing, I'm personally done with LG.
LG has the worst customer service ever! We will never buy another LG appliance again. I've spent well over the cost of a new unit of my time in dealing with this garbage and it's still NOT resolved! The new A/C unit has still not been sent out. More promises every day and still NOTHING!

Our A/C went out in our house over a month ago. Tech went out and repaired it (took one week for this to happen) and it was broken again within 48 hours. He came back out and said it needed a complete new unit. (This was another week)
We didn't receive a new unit for another week because they didn't order it right away.
Received new unit on the 14th - which was delivered on the 14th - in the rain. No one called beforehand like they said they would - so it sat outside in the rain all day.
Technicians don't install the new units - when my husband went to put it in - the new unit was damaged.
I have called / talked on chat EVERY day since then and no one has been able to help me - everyone says they will escalate it and nothing happens - it's all false promises and lies.
For over a week of me calling / chatting - no one ever said we need you to cut the serial number plate off of the unit and send us that picture - it wasn't until I asked did someone finally say yes that's what we're waiting on!
Thankful someone reviewed my claim weeks prior to tell me what I was missing and what was holding up the process of them shipping my new unit out. #thisdidnthappen
So here we are over a month later - over a week now since I sent in all of the correct pictures and still no new unit on the way. When I call and ask for a supervisor I get no where.
It's absolutely ridiculous that there isn't anyone capable at LG's customer service that can actually do what they say they are going to do and take care of the customer!

I bought an LG fridge on 10/22 at Lowe's. In 7/23 it quit working. I called LG and they sent out a technician since it was under warranty. The tech said he needed to order a part. He was scheduled to come back in a week. Well the part is on back order until 10/2023. I've been 5 without a working fridge and now I have to wait another 5 weeks. The fridge is only 9 months old and cost me $1000. I have talked with lg for over 5 hours and they keep telling me I have to wait and don't qualify for a replacement or refund. Don't buy LG products
W bought an LG thin q oven a little over a year ago. Now all of the numbers around the stovetop temperature dials are rubbing off. I've never had that happen before. I called customer service and was transferred twice before i gave up. Is there any other recourse?
We bought LG Fridge (71,000/-), LG Oven, LG Air Conditioner, all the things which we bought from lg are really bad and getting complaint in every month.
They said the Compressor of the Fridge has a guarantee of 10 years and in 1 and half years the compressor has dead.
Likewise, we bought LG charcoal oven, that too in less than 1 year the door of the oven got complaint.
The AC which we bought from them is also getting complaint in every 3 months.
The only thing which is good about LG is that, they are having good service timing.
The washer leaks from the front door. Customer from LG do not support me or replace the washer. Worse
I have a model #DLE3600V dryer, I called sustomer service when the unit was 6 months old about the door not shutting properly, they came out and said they would not fix the door even though it was a clear product issue, not abuse. Hopefully my home depot extended warranty is going to fix it, I paid almost $2500 for the set, LG, if your reading this, you have lost one customer for life, and all the others I am going to tell
After 8 months of purchase, machine started leaving scrud on clothing. Problem still persists even though I use a cleaner every 4 weeks. I never use fabric softener and only use liquid detergent, not pods. Technician came at 11 months, before warranty was over, and cleaned brown coated drum. Phoned LG customer service at 22 months and the only solution they offered was an extended warranty for parts and labour at $269. I refuse to spend anymore money on the machine and plan on purchasing from a different company.
Every appliance including my tv's are Lg, here's my issue, one of our refrigerators that's less than 6 years old quit cooling, after talking to LG in the phone I was told they could set up a in home repair for $129.00 as I was setting up the service I was then quoted $559.00 for the service call. I told the LG rep to forget it I'll call a service repairman myself. NOT HAPPY!
LG is the biggest piece of@#$% We ever owned. I will never buy another LG product again. It's total garbage.
We had been happy with the fridge we have owned (LG) for 4.5 years until the cooling coil (?) broke and we are living for nearly 2 weeks now with coolers in our kitchen for food. The reason why it is so long (and still is unresolved) is that LG will not document our issues as we are on Call #5 now and when we are told someone will call us back, they never do, and then we call them again and are told "There's no record of anything". The work order has not been processed and they are completely inadequate with customer service. They seem like a non-business or as if someone's cousin is covering for a few weeks and yet we spent 2500 for a fridge that busted in under 5 years and they are not taking responsibility for customers spending hard earned money on their faulty products. I've been told that LG fridges are known for the breakdown of the cooling element (which is what happened to ours) and yet LG just keeps letting them break and giving customers the runaround. This is the first and last LG we will ever own (TV, fridge, washer, you name it). As we have found out, all was good until it wasn't and then you see how well the company handles problems. LG is so far the worst of any company we've had to deal with on warranties/break downs etc. They get an F.
We purchased an LG dryer on June 12th from Lowes. On June 21st the dryer stop heating and sparked a fire in the outlet. We only had the dryer for 11 days and it almost burnt our house down. This is the worst appliance I have ever purchased. The customer service is horrible! Someone was supposed to come out to the house to look at the dryer and NEVER showed! Called customer service talk to 10 different ppl and 3 hung up the phone. I have now contacted my Lawyer to get this issue resolved. I will NEVER purchase an LG product again! Neither will my family and friends. Don't purchase any of these products!

My refrigerator has bin out of service for over seven week talked to customer support mutable times with no resolve, seven weeks with out a kitchen refrigerator is not ascetical, it is piss pour way to do business Unit was purchased on 11/17/2017
Very poor service. Customer service and their product are garbage. I bought a refrigerator cost almost $3,000 and it broke for using it for less than 2 years.
My LG microwave died after only 4 months. I called LG the next morning. After waiting 25 minutes to speak with an agent, following his "diagnostic" instructions, and sending him photos of my purchase receipt and the stickers on the back of my unit, he told me that I would be receiving a check to reimburse me for the cost of the unit (because the repair cost would exceed the replacement cost). He said that I would be receiving confirmation via text or email. I received no confirmation, so I sent a text. No response. Three more texts over the course of the day. No response. Finally, I called again in the evening. Another 15 minutes waiting for an agent. After finding my file, she informed me that there was a policy change a YEAR ago, prohibiting reimbursement for defective units; and mandating replacement. That I have no option but to wait (without a microwave) for 9-16 days for a duplicate of the microwave that only lasted 4 months. I will never again purchase anything made/sold by LG.
DISHWASHER LEAKING AND NOT WORKING. LG REFUSES TO SEND A TECH TO FIX THE PROBLEM. LG PRODUCTS ARE NOT RELIABLE NOR WILL THEY FIX THE PROBLEM.
Answer: They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)
Answer: THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SEND OUR REFUND AFTER PROMISING WE HAD SENT THE REQUIRED INFORMATION.
