I'm in the middle of the review number. Site could use some work, it's simple to use, but the downfall is like so many other people are experiencing, the lowballing, no shows, no response, be considerate and say not interested instead of waisting time. Guess I'm not alone on this site, others are experiencing the same trouble I have. I've noticed way too many potential buyers of my items wanting more for less, very unreasonable offers, people that don't know how to read the ad, want to go back and forth messaging but not meeting, etc. This site is just the same as any other resale site, win some lose some

Listen its really nothing more than a horriable flea market. Yes its free and one should not complain howrver all these apps are sucking all your info to sell to third party jerks tracking your every move. Close5 is even worse. You cant even give things away. Keep in mind most everyone is a seller not a buyer. Notice they dont advertise sbout buying on these sites. Most responses are from stoners and people never leaving their phones

I am moving and I took photos and posted 4 items on letgo (a hardly used sofa/loveseat, and bed, an antique fireplace mantle and a high-end fireplace screen) - I priced them all very, very reasonably. Even though I had many, many people who messaged to say they were interested, and I spent my time answering their many, many messages and questions, none of them seemed to have transportation to pick the items up - they all expected delivery?!?!?! I think there should be a note to say that people should not be wasting other's time by showing their willy nilly interest in an item when they have no intention of following through. In the end, I sold only 1 of the 4 items and now have to cart them off to a new location myself.

Every time i try to update my description the damn "share on facebook" option returns to being "ON". This is obviously because the makers of this app know more will sell if you post on facebook, but I don't want to solicit my friends.

So, if i edit my description and forget to turn that setting off, my edits get discarded. This is extremely frustrating to say the least.

At first, the interface seems nice and fast. Just use a photo and enter a price. Bam. But then, you really need to go in and put a title and description in place, and that is at the point where I want to pull my GD hair out.

There are bound to be scammers and dud buyers on any classified site, but that doesn't mean everyone is a bad apple... I have made over a dozen purchases without a hitch, and sold many dozens of things with little hassle... No show 'interested' buyers are to be expected, I have dealt with them on the professional business level and though for sale classified ads for decades... To expect any online app or site that deals with the public to be perfect is unrealistic...

I get very offended when the first thing someone asks me is will you take less. They haven't even seen my product to know that it is brand new but they want me to give it to him. Very frustrating. But I guess that's what this world has come to people who don't want to work on everything that someone has worked hard for give it to them. No thanks. I'll let my stuff rot before I give it to somebody. The website itself is very good very easy to use it's just the people are Cheapskates

My friend was trying to buy a truck off the letgo site. This lady is trying to sell trucks that are like new on the site for as little as 1,200.00. The lady tells everybody that the reason she wants to sell it is because, somebody in her family that owned the truck was killed. She acts like she wants to get rid of the truck because, it brings back bad memories.
When my friend offered to buy the truck which is supposed to be at her house she says you have to send her the money and she will have to ship it from Nevada. Please be careful this woman is using the name Hel, Helena, and other bogus names. If it sounds to good to be true it is a scam.

I was surprised to see so many items for sale in my area. BUT be careful if the price is to good to true it probably is not. I found way to many bogus auto and trucks that were priced thousands of dollars lower then they should be. I tried to reach the sellers but never received one. I did get a response once that said the SUV I enquired about was removed with a comment about removal for i think suspicious activity. I found a lot of items that were good deals. Out of 14 items i tried to buy only 2 responded and i did purchase those 2 items a small freezer and a shop vac. Both were not great buys but they were not over priced either. All of the other items i tried to buy i left several chat messages but never received a response. On the 3rd day i tried to chat with a few sellers about there items for sale and was unable to log in. It kept telling me that i was not connected to the internet and then would not stop trying to connect for over an hour on 2 tries then on the 3rd try when it started again i just shut my phone off and back on to stop it. I even tried to uninstall and then reinstall the Letgo app but it still did not work. If they ever get it fixed and keep the scammers out i would shop on it but they do not have anyone to police it while it is still free. Please spend the money your using on commercials to fix the app and also stop the scammers. I would like to come back and try to buy and possibly sell items in a few weeks so please fix the problems. I hope my suggestions are put to good use.
