I was selling item on let go, when I get an offer for $25 on something that a bought for $1200 dollars, I was asking $350.00. They guy said all he had was $25 and why I wouldn't sale it to him for that. I told him I'm not going any lower then $350.00 and he went off calling me names and said he was going to kill me. I block him and reported it, 3/4 of people that contact me on Letgo lie and never show up, ask to trade and get piss when will not agree or try lowballing me and start treating me. I'm still selling On let go, but as soon as crazy stuff starts happen I block them, Be careful.

I saw a motorcycle that usually costs around 7K to 8K for $2100. When they replied the reason was a death in the family determined the cost. While researching the situation i discovered the exact same item with the same multiple pictures being sold for $200 more by a different seller in a different state. The first was a female the second was a male. I would not by anything that has to be delivered. See and try the item before purchasing at a safe location.

I had tons of inquiries and was very excited about the initial response, but almost everyone wanted to know if I would negotiate. I put a lot of consideration into pricing, and listed most furniture pieces at $29- including a kitchen set with 4 'arching chairs in very good condition. I also posted a solid oak rocking chair, maple end tables, a brass floor lamp I paid $159 for. I thought $29 was fair. Most offers were for $15. I guess the ads leave people to believe we are desperate to sell. Rather disappointing

I never had a problem with this site before this happened: I was selling my son's clothes on this site and I got an interest about a week in. This person wanted the clothes for practically nothing even though the price was already really low. I told him I wasnt going any lower and he finally gave in. He kept changing his story when I asked when and where we would meet. He then continued to ask me the same questions over and over no matter how clear I would be. Then 3 days later, he asks if I have any toddler underwear and if he could babysit my child. Hell no you can't babysit my kid! I told him I wouldn't be selling to him, reported him, and then blocked him before deleting my profile all together. PLEASE BE CAREFUL ON THESE TYPES OF SITES.

My initial gripe is that the format for dialogue with the buyer is so bad that you cannot even see their last message until either you write a reply without knowing that they have written to you or they happen to try again which few people are likely to do on these buy and sell apps. I was really optomistic initially because it was so easy to post stuff by walking around the house with a cell phone, snapping and posting all those items lying around. Even that was silly because I think most first time users don't realise that after submitting a photo which is a fairly slick process, then you can add comments then a price which most seem to skip, leaving most adds with "negotiable" and some ridiculous cyber caption. For example I tried to buy a flat screen TV then was told by seller that it was not included with (TV stand). A bit of a poxy site as we would say in the UK.

I have registered for the site and every time I am interested in something, I try to chat with the person selling and a message comes up saying "Unfortunately Letgo has stopped" I even hit report and wrote the site explained the issue! Still happening Everytime, I'm just going to stay with Craigslist, Never Have Ever Had The Issues as with letgo! Deleting to make room, Since it's just a Tease, when you can't contact someone to buy something you really want! Sucks Bad!

My experience with buying from letgo has been good but I have nothing else good to say about it. Messages may take half a day to send or receive. The whole format is, for lack of a better word, just STUPID! In order to list a product you have to post a picture of the item and then go into it and try to update with a heading, description of product and more pics... good luck with that feature. I have only been able to load one pic despite numerous attemps. It always says that it successfully updated but still only one picture. Good luck with getting any technical support either. This site needs some major major work but more than likely will just fade away because it isn't run correctly and with no support people will just sell elswhere.

We sell on eBay, so out of curiosity I checked this site out. Sorry, but there's A lot of crap on there, some decent item's that are all 'negotiable' which means the seller wants too much. No price point to go off of. After reading the reviews, most if not all, bad experiences, I wouldn't even bother. Seems like a lot of creepy weirdos trolling for dates, just by the reviews. Plus this app doesn't hold the buyer or seller accountable for the transaction like reputable online selling sites. It's like looking at online rummage sale with A lot of crapola.

When I asked the rep if letgo was in alpha or beta, I was told that it definitely was not beta and this is the final product. What a joke! This is definitely a public beta test. There are issues that they are "aware of" and "working on it" that they mention in their FAQ's. There are also functions which are not yet implemented.

About 1/4 of my chats are delayed by 15 minutes to 3 hours. 75% of the buyers are just shopping (not buying). 20% of them are scammers that want to send you a check and have you ship an item to them for basically more than it would cost for them to order from any retail store. And 5% are legit buyers. Hardly worth your time.

*Public Beta Test
*Missing and Broken Functionality
*Can only edit location from iPhone
*Can't upload, add, edit, etc on a desktop computer without using BlueStacks.
*Gives wrong location even when correct location is put in.

I actually had to report a seller to the Sheriff's Department where I live because he got VERY personal and creepy, demanding I call him in person instead of using the text function, asking if I was married... too scary. Will NEVER use this site again.

Every post you will get trash calling you. I posted a hitch for a customer of mine that wanted it removed from her house, it was in really good condition so instead of destroying it I put it on letgo to see if someone could use it. Some hillbilly finally shows up and asks my employees to load it for him. I specified he would need help and he showed up with his crusty girlfriend. Same experience today I held some couches for some guy, he shows up 2 1/2 hours late and does not take the couches. Both items were free. It's not worth being nice just throw your used stuff out and let these pigs dig it out of the dump
