I would not use this company for any but the most basic prescriptions. I wanted to love them. I like that they will work with your own frames; nogreat for high indexed lenses.

First I sent my shades in to have prescription lens applied instead of my regular lenses. I was told they weren't compatible so I purchased a pair of Oakley frames. Two weeks after I received them they were small frames so the measurements were off and the screws kept coming out. Shades were sent back and "fixed" only to have them returned and a month later and have the same issues. Unfortunately for me this time they were outside of the 90 "warranty"
The discounts were enticing but I first received a set of frames that were scratched. They wanted me to pay for replacement lenses for a new set of frames. Finally receive my OTHER frames which I sent in for new lenses and they sent me the frame back MISSING a temple arm with NO explanation. The "broken" arm is not even in the box.
Their customer service and refund policy is atrocious.

I sent them my frames to put new lenses into. Should be a process. I get them back and wonder why I cannot see out of them at all. I am thinking something is wrong with my prescription from the eye doctor. I take time out of my day and spend another $50 at the eye doctor to find out what is wrong with the prescription. Turns out they put the correct lenses in wrong eye! Not a small error for a company that claims in its website that all orders go through a quality control process. I ask for refund because I quickly had to get them remade while at the eye doctor. I had no time to go back and forth to try to get them remade because I have to have glasses to drive. They refuse a refund. I do not consider the wrong lenses in each eye some minor imperfection. Waiting weeks for a replacement is not an option.
The CSR named "Marky" is one of the worst reps i've ever dealt with - absolutely uselessly incompetent, rude, and never follows through on any promises of follow-ups. Horrible. She desperately needs to be disciplined/fired.

The sunglass received with damaged frame. Sent back and it was redone and got the redone sunglasses with the same damaged frame again. Talked with tech, and had to wait for another 2 weeks because of lab issues. Overall terrible experience with a purchase of a new frame from Lensable. No problem with my own frame sent in.
I have bad eye site. Always have. Wanted to save money by shopping online. Lensabl was the only place able to make lenses so my eyeballs can see. Thank you for being better than the competition.
Took a month to attempt to make sunglass lenses that other lens labs have no problem making. Finally received but the curvature was not right and it made the glasses too wide. Sent them back and it took another month to decide that they couldn't make them. At least they gave me a full refund.
I ordered a set of glasses and they did not fit me at all. Instead of refunding my money or working with me to fix the issue, lensabl just said "sorry - no refunds." In the end, they took back the frames (the cheap part of the whole thing) and left me with nothing but ~$400 less cash than I had before. Thoroughly disappointing quality, service, and after-sales support. In my opinion, avoid this company at all costs.
I was told PRIOR to sending in my frames for lenses that the Lensabl lab could definitely make my lenses. Now after weeks of being told to wait one or two more days they finally tell me they cannot make my lenses I ordered AND will NOT REFUND my money. So they have my frames, my money and I have nothing!
Communication after the order is terrible, you might consider an easier system. The one you have is terrible. It's impossible to communicate effectively and is the reason I will not do business with you again.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
