I had a pricy set of frames with regular lens that I no longer needed due to cataract surgery and vision correction during that process. So I had those frames converted to sun glasses by Lensabl. The whole process was flawless, the resulting frames and lens were great. I couldn't have imaged better service through the complete process.
I have so many frames I've enjoyed over the years and I really loved being able to reuse them and have some backups and different choices. I sent in two frames and I am very pleased with the service and quality.
Seriously great customer service. I've struggled with online glasses non stop for the last year (apparently my eyeballs are high maintenance with things not easily customizable on other sites) and lensabl be was reasonable and able to accommodate me. I think the only thing I'd change is next I'll go with a higher index lens!

I was unsure of how to order lenses. I spoke with Andy Bilinski, the CEO, I think, who walked me through the process. I received a mail in which to send out my own frames. Within 2 weeks I received my glasses with new lenses, with a collapsable case, some lens cleaner, and a lens cloth. Excellent service, and I'm very pleased with my new lenses.
This is my 6th pair of lens I have purchased from them. Very straightforward ordering and I love how they send you a box as needed. Lens are of high quality and do not scratch easily. The only downside is it takes at least a month or more to get them back. Have an extra pair handy! I recommend it to anyone who will listen.
Reasonable price for a great service. I really like my frames and my old lenses were damaged. There is a weird bubble on one of the new lenses but I don't want to send them back again because the process took two weeks.
Great customer service. Ease of choosing frame and ordering online. The glasses arrived earlier than estimated date of delivery. Sadly I cannot use them. The frames only allowed for progressive lenses. (My previous ones were bi-focals and I had no issues.) I cannot see clearly for the distance nor reading. My drug store readers are sharper and clearer than these lenses. The Lensabl glasses now sit, collecting dust, as the 30-day window for return to expired.
Lensabl updated and replaced the lenses in a pair of frames I've had since 1998. Over the years, 2-3 different opticians told me they could not replace the lenses without damaging the frames. Lensabl did what no one else I've contacted would even attempt. I would trust them with any of my frames.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
