I'm generally nervous about sending anything out to get repaired/upgraded to an online company but Lensabl made everything super easy and was transparent throughout the whole process. From The placement of order to receiving my new (old) glasses the whole process of getting new lenses for my frames took about three weeks. Very affordable overall and even came with new case. My only (-) was that I would've liked to see the frames themselves cleaned up a little better before they were sent back to me.
The process is really long and the glasses came back not clear.

My order was for lenses. I was stoked that the cost of $97 for polycarbonate was significantly cheaper than the $280 quoted by LC.
The online experience was relatively simple but could likely be improved a little. I missed submitting a pic for pupillary distance. Lensabl replied within 2 days of having my frames that this was needed, which took only a few minutes to submit. Easy.
My glasses came back and everything seems perfect. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is it took too long. Total time from receipt of my frames to the frames shipping was about 2.5 weeks. Following up to check on the order, Lensabl noted the first set of lenses failed inspection and were being recut. While they note this possibility on the website, why not get it right and solve for this? Inspect, yes. Make it a warning for slowing completion of the order? Meh.
I would definitely order again from Lensabl. If you're not in a hurry and can chance waiting, give them a go. If Lensabl can iron out their inspection process so it's not something a consumer even needs to hear about, and speed things up in the process, then the total experience would be an easy 5 stars.
I am very satisfied spending my money with Lensabl. The quality of the lenses are spectacular. I also didn't have to wait too long to get my glasses back because they do a great job of working on them so they can send them to you. I am wearing my new glasses and I love them. Thank you guys for helping me get lenses on my frames!

I had a great experience with Lensabl from start to finish. They did everything right - from obtaining the product to obtaining my prescription glasses to arrival of final product to my doorsteps.
If I can just suggest to update the customers as to the progress, cuz it took about a week and a half for the product to deliver to my address; this would only by my recommendation. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

WE ordered a BOSE glasses product and wanted it to have a bifocal prescription lens, progressives and transitional lenses. I sent in the eye prescription from our optometrist and Lensabl made the lenses. We received them and they are right on! Perfect. I had no idea they would be a good as they are.

Great work for a great price! I searched for over two years to find an optical lab that would put lenses in my rare frames and this is the only place I could find that could do it. I just mailed in my frames and within a couple days I had them back!
My glasses fell to the bottom of a pool and while diving for it, the frames and lenses got scratched on the pool floor. I was devastated because I love this pair of glasses and was thinking of purchasing a whole new pair. That would be a $100+ purchase more than I did with lensabl.
So I searched lens replacement and found lensabl. I placed an order and sent my glasses in within the day. I printed out my box label which they sent immediately. It was hassle free and was able to confirm that they received my glasses.
My only recommendation is that you make an account with them at checkout so that you can check the status of your glasses. Otherwise, you don't get step by step notifications through email and you'll be left to worry on the status of your glasses and service. They're also a smaller business so they do not have a phone number. This worried me but they reassured me through email. They did excellent.
It took about 2 weeks for full repair and delivery. I am very pleased with my new lenses and their packaging is very sleek and convenient. I highly recommend lensabl and appreciate their team! Thank you guys!
It took almost a month to get my glasses. Once I received them, I discovered that the reader part of the progressive prescription is way to low in the lenses. It is so low that in order to read a book I have to hold it against my stomach or I have to raise my head like I am looking at the ceiling or high up on the wall. I have to do the same thing to use my computer - I have to raise my head at an angle that looks like I am looking at the ceiling or high up on the wall. Horrible experience!
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
