I was very pleased with my glasses they was able to do something everybody else said they couldn't do
Took over a month for the entire transaction, and the communication was sub-par. There's clearly a ticketing system being used (ZenDesk I think), but the tickets were not updated in a timely manner--I got autogenerated messages after I'd already received the glasses telling me about the delay that I should have been informed about weeks prior. I didn't even find out about the delay until I emailed your Customer Service department myself, and even then it took them a week to find out what the delay was. The lenses I actually received aren't great quality, and I'm not even very happy with the product I received. I'm probably going to have to take them to my eye doctor to evaluate to determine if it's the lenses causing problems or the frames.
I don't think I'd use your service again. It was theoretically convenient and low cost, but I don't think it was worth it in the end. Sorry--I wanted to use you for another few sets of frames I have, but I think I'll go with another vendor or just take them to my eye doctor.
It's been over 20 days of my order on 8/31.
I odered the Bose Tempo frame with Single Vision Poly + Standard AR (the frame with prescription dark lenses).
On the next day (9/1), via support I asked to add an additional pair of clear lenses for night cycling. So my order had two lines:
Line 1: Frame with prescription dark lenses
Line 2: Clear prescription lenses
I received only the clear lenses and no news of the frame and dark lenses. In the website only shows that the order has been shipped and already received, but does not specify if or when I'll receive the full order. Yesterday submitted a support request, but no reply so far. Apparently there is no customer support telephone to explain the situation. Also, the button to "chat with a lens expert" doesn't take to an online live chat as expected, it just sends a message that is replied via email later.
So far I'm not happy with the experience, but let's see how they handle the situation.
Very shoddy workmanship. One lens does not fit into the frame. The other has a sharpened sliver left on the side that could cut like a knife. I've had glasses made before with Lensabl and was very pleased with the outcome, this however is a completely different experience. I will give them an opportunity to rectify the situation.
Well I bought a pair of BOSE SUNGLASSES but needed my prescription to really enjoy them. The glasses just arrived and I'm thrilled. The only problem is my original custom Bose carrying case was not returned with my glasses.
I'm a first time customer so I was a bit unsure how a mail order company could pull off a perfect prescription for my non-typical custom frame insert. Well done! I'll be telling my hunting buddies about this experience.
Wonderful experience. With my last order, I added on the protection plan for my lenses to cover scratches from normal wear. I reached out to Lensabl on 9/8/21, shipped them my lenses on 9/9/21, and received my replacement lenses on 9/20/21! 11 days from when I shipped them. That is an incredible turnaround time and was completely hassle free! Thank you Lensabl for your great customer service and for making the experience easy and seamless.
Took a long time to get my glasses. Around a month. I was told they made a mistake and needed to fix it. Received my glasses. Oakleys. There was not Oakley bag/case in the box. If these are authentic then there should have been and for what I paid for them there should have been.
These glasses are exactly how I wanted them, there the right tint and work very well during the day and night. I will Definitely get glasses from here again.
Was hesitant about having my lenses replaced. End result was perfect. Finally can read the screen with out taking my glasses off. Also have my favorite frames that sat in mr drawer for years.
Took weeks to get my glasses because they failed quality checks. Finally received them and there are many defects in the lenses. There are specs all over even after cleaning them. Appears to be a problem with the coating. Also unless I am looking straight ahead they are blurry. Did order my contacts through the company and did an online exam. Didn't have any issues with them and they arrived quickly.
Another great experience getting lenses in my glasses
I ordered prescription sunglass lenses. The lenses are noticeably warped and distorted when I look up and down or side to side and kind of give me a dizzy feeling.
After being told they did not know the minimum possible measurement. I emailed them back...
All other venders I have used in the past have noted that 10mm is the lowest they can go. I was under the assumption Lensabl knew this as well; especially since Lensabl did exactly that for my first pair, as requested in the exact same manner. Perhaps your website department can add this option to better service your clients, noting 10mm - 15mm.
Service was spectacular... very professional! Abalone shell frame... very hard to work with... great job!
Tried for the first time to order replacement lens online. It was easy, well executed, all on schedule and at the cost I expected. Got confidence to keep ordering online with lensable.
Great product, great execution and great communication and service. I've had my favorite frames with non-Rx lenses for years waiting either for a company that could reasonably replace the lenses or until I had cataract or Lasik surgery to be able to use them. You did it with quality and a low price. Thank you.
You guys forgot to add my transition on my glasses. Very upset. Need a refund
These lenses aren't mine. Vision thru them is extremely blurry. Lensabl explained the delay a week ago saying quality check had detected problems. They're not yet solved. Please provide a mailing label for me to return the glasses.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
