Be Careful

I purchased 2 boxes for each of my eyes and the biofinity toric ones I had major issues with. Put 2 in and neither one were fitting comfortable in my eye I have been wearing this brand for years. So I called and they replaced them but am still having the same issue with the replaced ones. Had my eye checked and it's not my eye so that only leaves one thing the contact. When I contacted coopervision they said lens.com is not a authorized seller of their contacts. I'm in the process of having the lot number checked to see if they are fake!

I purchased contacts from them and had to return them. They required an RMA#, after three phone calls and much time on hold I finally received an RMA# and label. When I received my refund I was charged a $52.00 processing fee, that equated to 50% of my order. On their website they call themselves "Legit" they are far from it. Shady closet business.

So far, I've had to call Lens.com 6 times for a return label to be sent to me. I've yet to receive one. Call 1: No issue and told 24-48 hours for label sent to email. Call 2: Told me it takes 7-10 days - incorrect info since it was to go to email. Call 3: Agent told me 24-48 hours for label to email and 7-10 days for mail. And they did not take returns from a year ago even if lens unexpired and do not take an unopened pack of 30 if they came in a 90 day box, but since given wrong info in past they will make an exception. - This is wrong info. Their website say returns unlimited time if contacts are not expired. Agent documented call and past calls since nothing on record. Call 4: Anyone that could generate a label was gone for the day. Call us back. Call 5: You should receive label within the next 10 mins. My supervisor will send you an email confirming it was sent. - I got no email or label. Call 6: Spoke to a nasty supervisor. Looked back through record and said there were no documentation about calls made to Lens.com for Call 1 or Call 2. She asked me what day I called on and she could verify all calls made on that day. I'm a liar? She told me the same thing that agent in Call 3 told me. No where on the website does it state about not being able to return unopened 30 days from a 90 day pack. They act like they are doing me a favor. She was argumentative. I hung up on her. Label is supposed to be sent in the mail. I am not holding my breath. They no longer get my business. And they take forever to give you rebate.

Rebate scam

Out of dozens of online places to purchase contacts, lens.com looks attractive when you get the rebates, however getting the rebates is rare, You submit your forms, not trivial, and are told to wait 5-6 weeks, however then you forget and call later to find out the rebate has expired or some technicality etc. it appears it is by design that they are counting on many not getting the rebates. I am an engineer and did due diligence and am only successful 30%, These are for the smaller rebates, the big ones, good luck, they will lose your paperwork. Hidden fees, etc... it's a racket. All the information is at lens.com, why do they make you print it off and mail it in. This could be done automatically. It is by design they make you jump through hoops so you will get shafted on the rebate and they profit off of it.
Find a place without the hassle with true price posted. Our time is worth something. They make you waste hours on paperwork rebates, postage and follow up. It's not worth it.

This company does not make it clear that you are about to pay a $64 processing fee. No luck in reaching customer service to cancel the order once the total showed up in a confirmation email. The chat feature for customer service is always monitored by a bot. No return call or email. Very very slow shipping.

The $64 processing fee does not show up on any invoice or order confirmation page. It just shows item total, shipping fee and then the total. (which includes the mystery processing fee)

As everyone else mentioned, they advertise a price and then hit you with a ridiculous processing fee to rob people. Shameful business practice. When you call to cancel the order, they lie saying the order has already been shipped (called within the hour of ordering, fastest shipping I've ever seen) and that they will not cancel, only refund once the lens arrive.

I purchased contact lenses from lens.com. The total cost was $230. I was charged $344 which included a $7.95 shipping cost. Of course, I thought there was an error, only to learn that there was a process/handling fee over $100! Never mentioned when I ordered on line and not itemized on the email receipt. Unethical and deceitful.
I have never written a negative review about anything before this.

Deceptive at Best! Steer Clear!

Site is very deciptive about actual price that you will pay at checkout. I had previously purchase contacts here and need to get some for my son, almost made a huge mistake. I know wonder how much I overpaid!. Their processing fee is the definition of insanity! Price of contacts approx $164, total price approx $335... I bought the contacts at OptiContacts for $115 cheaper. Lens.com claims "Lowest price on the internet", hardly! It is very unlikely that I will ever look at Lens.com as credible. I will also tell anyone that is in the market for contacts to steer clear. The nature of Lens.com is beyond deceptive. I only wasted my time, luckily I didn't just base my purchase off of your one data point. Then again, they probably get enough suckers this way.

I would normally say goodbye, however this is more of good riddance!

Bait and Switch

I ordered 6 boxes of lenses at 14.99 a box plus shipping. I got charged double that due to a "processing" fee of (basically) $15 per box. I got on chat with the rep who says this "processing fee" is stated in step 1 of the order process. I went back to check and that processing fee is listed, although shaded and small print so that you miss it during the checkout process. Everything is in bolded except this processing fee. How convenient! This is totally shady if you ask me. Nowhere in the listing for the lenses is any "processing fee" explained or referred to. So if you add the processing fee to the cost per box, it's barely if at all, any cheaper than anywhere else. It's just a marketing ploy to make you think you're getting a special price. Well, I canceled my order and will find a company that doesn't feel they need to trick me into buying from them.

Very disappointed. Buyer beware - their rebate cards expire and they provide no recourse to retrieve the funds owed to you if you do not use the cards in their timeline.

I have been ordering from Lens.com for years unknowing I was paying an $80.00 plus processing fee everytime I purchased my contacts. This time I called and asked why my contacts were costing $80. More than what the contacts were on special for. When I called I asked why this wasn't listed when I went to buy them? The representative for Lens.com said, they showed the processing fee when you check out? But when I went to check out it was not listed anywhere. So I call BS Lens.com! This is beyond ridiculous... So two packs of contact lenses should cost only 100. Cost 181. With no mention of a processing fee!

I placed an order for lenses in the amount of $41.48 and was charged $81.96 in total. They added a hidden $40.48 processing fee which did not show up at the time the order was placed. There was no disclosure of these fees at any time while I was placing my order. Classic bait and switch. I will NEVER order from them again.

Where are my contacts?

I ordered a box of acuvue Oasys 2.0 for my right eye 3 weeks ago. I received my contacts last week but they were for my left eye 5.0. I called to get the proper contacts 3 times. The first time they were going to send a label and the contacts next day air. That was Thursday, I called on Monday to inquire and they said order wasn't put in that they would do it. Today Wednesday said they would send a Return Authorization by email. And it would take a week. Huh? It has been over 3 weeks since I ordered the contacts and I am still wearing my back up glasses. It appears for another 2-3 weeks before the new ones I ordered arrive.

WE DON'T RECOMMAND! Here is why (sorry English is not my mother tongue): After ordering via your site for several years my husband's prescription changed a few days after he had placed an order on your site. He tried to return it and get a refund but it did not work. He spoke to 3 different persons from your customer service and they were never able to help him. They sent him several emails asking him to reply with additional information in order to proceed with the refund. Wich he did every time they asked. On the last email he recieved, he was told that he was going to get a return receipt (by email) within 3 to 7 days. He thought the hassle would finaly end there. But he never did receive it! So we called one last time the customer service. We explained the whole situation again and we made sure to do so very politely, as we of course were aware that the employee over the phone had nothing to do with the situation. You will understand that we were very surprised that she hung up on us after telling us there was nothing she could to to help us. That was really frustrating, given that on your website you advertise how easy it is supposed to be to get a full refund. It has been a real hassle and we won't recommand lens.com to anyone. I hope this will prevent other customers from loosing 200$ and their time.
