Among the movies that LegacyBox has digitized for me and my children and grandchildren was a home movie from the 1930s that was bright and clear. It showed my great-grandmother, born at the beginning of the Civil War, smiling, walking and waving. What a treasure! What a legacy!
I believe my tapes were saved just in time. They were deteriorating.The longer you wait, the worse they get.
We are happy to be able to review much of our family history on video tapes digitally. We are collecting old photos se we can also share those digitally.

Had some old family VHS tapes that I haven't seen in a long time. It was great to relive those memories. Everything was first class! I highly recommend their service!
My experience was wonderful. Couldn't have been easier. The entire process took less than 3 weeks. 3 VHS tapes converted to 3 DVDs. Amazing to see old 8mm family memories. Brought tears to my eyes to see parents and other family who have been gone for so long.

We sent in reel to reel tapes 50 years old not expecting much and if anything scratchy and staticky. We got just the opposite back. I think the results were clearer than what was actually recorded. We couldn't be more pleased with the result and the turn around was very fast. They claim 4 to 8 weeks but we got it back within 2 weeks. My 89 year old mother-in-law heard her late husband singing and playing the guitar the first time since his death. Her eyes shined! I recommend this company to anyone with memories to restore from tape.
This was the best Christmas present that we have ever given to our parents. Watching them relive memories was the best gift! The process of sending the tapes in and having Legacybox work their magic was so simple and worth every dime.

Its nice to have old films preserved to see our family from years past
Seemed to take forever to get the pics back. Pictures turned out real clear and bright colors. Very satisfied with the end results.
Most services charge by the foot to convert 16mm film. Legacybox does it by the reel. It ends up actually very cheap to have them convert the film.
From the boxes provided to the time finished product was received the process was flawless! Great communication and ability to track where my movies through the process.
Seeing my kids grow up again is such a gift. Sending all our old VHS and VHSC tapes in was so easy. I'm so happy with the results. I only wish I had done it sooner!
I had some issues with the results of my Legacybox order but the administration was very prompt with fixing the problem. Overall, the results of what was digitized was very good and we received the finished product quickly.
