Suite à ma réservation sur le site "Last minute" un vol aller/retour Paris/Nice (voir confirmation ci-dessous), je vous écris pour vous raconter ma mésaventure.
Jai commencé le soir à chercher à réserver un vol Paris/Nice et à comparer les prix sur différents sites. Jai eu un prix de 288Euros pour 5 personnes. Pour quelques Euros de différence avec dautres sites, jai choisi de réserver sur le site last minutes.
Jai déclenché la procédure dachat. Et là, sur la page cétait marqué un « montant » de 467 Euros et une « réduction » de 148,51Euros. Franchement je nai pas compris le lien entre le prix de 288Euros que jai eu au départ et les deux montants (467 Euros et la réduction de 148,51Euros). Jai cherché partout sur la page une explication, mais rien. Après réflexion, je me suis dit que le prix final devrait être (467-148.51=318.49Euros) au lieu de 288Euros pour des raisons de frais ou de carte bancaire.
(sinon comment expliquer les 288 Euros qui saffichait au départ?). Jai quand même accepté de payer.
Apres avoir payé, je me suis rendu compte que le montant débité sur mon compte est de 467Euros. Finalement pas de réduction en cours.
Jai appelé au numéro qui saffichait sur la confirmation: *******6847 (Lun - Ven 08h - 22h - Sam - Dim 09h - 19h) pour demander des explications ou pour essayer dannuler la réservation; mais personne ne répondait et pourtant jappelais pendant les horaires marquées sur la confirmation, avant 22h.
Le lendemain, jai réussi à avoir quelquun au téléphone du service clients, mais finalement la réponse que jai eue, « rien à faire, cest trop tard pour annuler, vous auriez dû annuler la veille » (et pourtant jai appelé la veille mais personne ne répondait au téléphone).
Jai écrit au service client qui ma envoyé le détail de la facturation:
Tarif du billet: 436,90 EUR
Frais administratifs d'agence de voyage: 178,51 EUR
Escompte: 148,41 EUR
Or ce détail on ne le trouve nulle part sur le site (et le plus important cest de lavoir avant de payer).
Pour avoir le cœur net, jai fait plusieurs simulations. Rien de changer. Cest toujours la même arnaque. Et nulle part on explique la signification de « réduction ». Jai photographié les pages et je peux montrer la suite chronologique de la réservation.
Jusquà présent, jarrive toujours à avoir des prix Paris / Nice moins chers, mais je ne peux pas en bénéficier car jai déjà acheté les billets avec Last minute (je me suis fait arnaquer).
We booked a holiday city package to Majorca with lastminute.com 6 days before the scheduled trip. First of all, you can't call it a booking it's more like a request for a booking. They'll 'send' you a confirmation within 24 to 48hours. In this day and age of the internet, you shouldn't have to wait more than 1 minute to receive a booking confirmation. So we waited more than 48hours and started to get nervous if we would received confirmation or not. We made calls to their helpline based in India of course with people called Michael or David (I doubt it's ever their real names!). You could tell they're Indian with their accent yet they give you false names. How can a company ever pretend to be honest when their workers are given false names to talk with customers... Anyway, waited for confirmation never received so we called and asked them to cancel the booking which we haven't received confirmation of the cancellation either! What a disgrace of a company. Bravofly have acquired lastminute.com and they're both poorly managed companies! Do yourself a favor and book your flights directly with the airlines and use Booking.com for hotels. At least, you will get instant confirmation!
Somebody has rang up and cancelled my booking without the email adddess used to make the booking or the credit card details used. Absolutely no confirmation of who they are talking to. They will just cancel a booking. Terrible company and shockingly bad customer service. Avoid them!
AVOID LASTMINUTE! Purchased a long haul airfare ticket through Lastminute.com that advertised it included a piece of check-in luggage, and after purchase received a confirmation email that again said "1 piece of hold luggage included". Then went directly to airline to check the reservation and it said in black/white this was a Light fare and T&Cs that said check in luggage was not included and was charged a fee. Called Lastminute customer service reading the reservation T&Cs in front of me, and the service rep repeatedly insisted I was wrong, did not offer help, condescendingly said to not worry as it is included, and told me to call the airline myself to check. Unacceptable and appalling, this is not customer service. I did call the airline directly and they confirmed I was correct. Never buying again from lastminute. Worst customer treatment ever. DO NOT BOOK WITH LASTMINUTE!

I booked an internal China flight quite some time ago. I was informed at the beginning of this month that our flight was cancelled. I was offered an alternative (leaving later - however I would miss my next flight). I have contacted them several times by email (no reply whatsoever) and by phone. They keep promising a quick reply time and again. In the meantime the clock is ticking and you're stuck. I have now been requesting a refund but the only thing I hear is "I have sent it to the relevant team and they will contact you soon". I get the impression that the strategy is to keep to busy until a/ it's too late or b/ you run out of patience. Bottom line, trying to avoid paying a refund. The FB person seems all nice but on the phone I was told "I'm only asking something small, to wait (yet) another 2 days". I found that very disrespectful - as if I am being annoying for asking about my flight?! I suppose the company is quite OK if all goes well with your booking. However when there is an issue, don't count on it getting resolved (timely - before you're desperate).
It's 7 days to know cancellation fees and at the end it's non refundable and as per their policy they mentioned cancellation fees or in some cases non refundable so I have to guess that non refundable following up with very poor agents keep on holding no solutions avoid as much as you can terriable wasting time energy and YOUR MONEY! 1500£

Flight was cancelled. All my emails return with automated responses. Phone call promises to find an alternative flight during a week are not fulfilled and even denied. Nobody gets back, even after promising to escalate my issue and to find a solution in 24 hours. Terrible customer service and stolen money. Never ever even think to buy at Lastminute.com! I contacted lastminute.com due to me not being able to stay at a hotel, due to the family emergency of my father-in-law falling terminally ill.
I initially spoke to the hotel direct, who agreed they would accept an amended booking date due to the circumstances, however I would have contact lastminute.com first because booking was through lastminute.com.
I spoke with the team on 15. 03. 17 at around 20:00 and was informed that this amendment would be no issue providing the hotel agreed the amendment. I was also told that this would be resolved within a matter of minutes.
On 16. 03. 17 at around 20:00 I received an email stating that the amendment had been rejected. I promptly telephoned the hotel who informed me that Lastminute.com had only contacted the hotel circa 20 minutes prior to receipt of my email. Nearly 24 hours after my initial phone call.
The hotel advised that had lastminute.com contacted them when I had initially called, the amendment would not have been rejected.
This was obviously a time sensitive situation as the hotel stay was 16. 03. 17 and the staff lied to me by stating they would resolve my situation within a matter of minutes.
I then called the team again 16. 03. 17 at around 21:00, and was told by customer care management that he would personally resolve the issue by calling the hotel within the hour to corroborate my story, and call me back to discuss.
Over 24 hours have passed since that phone conversation and I have yet to hear back from lastminute.com.
This is the second time I had spoken to the customer 'care' team, and on both occasions I have been told that the team would contact the hotel and resolve this situation, however on both occasions I have been lied to. This situation has neither been resolved, nor it appears has the lastminute.com team undertaken any of the works that were promised to me as a paying customer.
On top of that I find it utterly disgusting and offensive that lastminute.com would dare quote policy at me during a time of bereavement, especially when I have already undertaken a verbal agreement that the booking would be amended and the situation be resolved, irrelevant of policy.
This situation is NOT about the money, but about being lied to and treated with absolutely no sympathy or decorum.
Booked a holiday to Tenerife with lastminute.com. A couple of weeks later I found out by chance that the hotel we had booked was having major renovation of the pool and restaurant area so would be unavailable for 3 months. Nothing mentioned on their web site regarding this. Phoned lastminute.com and after 1.5 hours of waiting to get connected and talking to the staff ( call centre in India with staff having limited English and really strong Indian accents so difficult to understand)
Told them we wanted to change hotels.
Told to wait for them to investigate. Heard nothing for a week so phoned again and had the same problem, being passed on from one operator to another to the supervisor and nothing sorted. Told to wait again.
The following week phoned them again and again told to wait, that the hotel were offering the use of a pool at another hotel ( 10 minutes in a car or 45 min walk)
After 4th phone call to lastminute.com and still no alternative hotel being offered we cancelled the hotel and booked an alternative with another company.
By the way, still nothing on their web site that this hotel had no pool due to building work.
Lastminute.com are shocking when something goes wrong, communications are very poor, dont phone or e mail as promised.

STAY AWAY from lastminute.com<. Au> I have been battling with them for over a year to get ticket credit which they initially "couldn't find" then we went back and forth from them calling me to make a booking over the phone to them "not receiving an answer' on my end-bull$#*!. They never called when they claimed they had. I spent hours and money to call them from the U.S. to their Australian line, waiting on hold to be told I'd get a full refund to my credit card, and of course that never happened. They are now asking me to make a booking so I'll be refunded after. LIKE HELL. Please never use this site, they have cost me more than money, but time and so much stress.
I booked with lastminute (at 9pm) last night for flights to NYC for 950. I received an email congratulating me and telling me to pack my bags. I could have booked the same flights with expedia or the airlines direct for 1033 but was happy to save the cash as I trusted the lastminute brand. This morning at 10am they emailed to say the booking was cancelled as the fare was no longer available! Of course I then checked expedia and the airline immediately and these flights are now 1500 and 1800 pounds respectively! At no point in the booking process did lastminute so much as hint that the flights may not be confirmed. I am sure it is in the 'fine print' but this should at least be hinted at when you are booking. As I was booking late I knew prices would move fast so would not have taken the chance. lastminute.com has lost me a small fortune and I will never ever even look at their unreliable site again!
If you see one of your favourite hotels pop up on a Google search with room rates wildly lower than you'd expect - be suspicious. Lastminute.com operate a bait and divert scam, where they hook people into thinking they can book the hotel at a far lower rate, but then when you click through they will say there is no availability and offer alternatives even though this is probably not the case - how do I know I run a hotel that is being affected by this scam. I've reported this to numerous bodies and no one is addressing this. If you have stayed there before book direct that way you can ensure you get the best price.
I booked with last minute it was 1,000 less then everyone else's on line. Booked the steam boat package they have me flying in to Wyoming 2hrs north.
Tried to sort it out got nothing but rude customer service and smart comments.
I booked through Lastminute.com a return flight which was later cancelled by the airline due to a schedule change.
I contacted their customer service and they promised to refund the whole amount. But later they kept for them a 20 euro processing fee (for some unknown reason...). It is over the 15% of the amount I payed for the flight...!
I tried to contact them various times to ask for further details but I have only received a couple of emails with no meaningful replies and then they stopped to reply.
Hidden processing fees + misleading and poor customer service = STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
Booked flights with last minute.com. Following family illness, I needed to cancel some flights & change others, last minute were appalling in their customer service & woefully slow, only responding to me after many phone calls.

I had bought a return ticket from Cologne to Istanbul. When trying to check the flight info through airlines company, the website did not find my ticket which was supposedly bought for me by LastMinute. HOWEVER, LastMinute charged me immediately after I had confirmed my tickets with them. So what happened is that the airline operating the flight had not received the money from LastMinute. I ended up spending 11 hours at the airport, 3,5 hours of international calls, no explanation, solution whatsoever, and terrible customer service, they hold on you for 20 minutes and explain the same sh*t what they had told you earlier. So, in the end, I bought the first available ticket which cost me 233 euros=3 times more expensive than my original ticket.
My family and I booked a holiday to antalaya, turkey. My credit card was in order and I thought everything would have been secured. We booked via phone to a last minute.com worker and the worker said everything was fine and secure so after we were going to get a confirmation order. First it said the transaction was successful and then 50 minutes later it sent a cancellation confirmation and froze my credit card to 24-48 hours and my plan was to fly out the day after the booking. This site is unreliable and frankly a waste of time. There was nothing wrong with my credit card it had the all clear so what gives you the right to freeze my card. I am absolutely loathed with anger. I will NEVER be using this site or recommending it to anyone. The events that have took place on this website will be all over social media. Please I advise you NOT to use this website EVER!
Tried to book a holiday and they messed it up (not me which is even more annoying). Waited for 15mins to speak to someone at the call centre and was told as it wasn't booked yet they couldn't do anything (very confusing?) like cancel/stop/amend etc, ie. The normal behaviour you'd expect. Had to wait 30mins at which point they had taken over £2k of my money anyway and said that I now had to wait 15 days for my money back even though they hadn't taken it to start with when I pointed their mistake out to them. Obviously all I've had since then is a pack of lies or no response from email, twitter, facebook, phone or promised call backs - utterly disgusting! AVOID!
I cant believe that a travel agency can work like this. I bought a ticket from chile to Thailand and two weeks after the confirmation of my fligths they send me a email telling me that the flight was cancelled because of the airway fault and that the pnly thing i can do was to accept the return of my money. I investigate directly with the airway and they told me that my flight was still avaliable and there wasnt anu problem with it. Now the agency only want to return my money back without an explanation and the tickets for other flight are more expensove that they were before. I hate their service, i wish a i hadnt bought my flights here.
Answer: I want an email address for LastMinute.com through which to log my complaint and ask for an explanation and partial refund.
