If you're looking to book a holiday I would seriously advise you don't go anywhere near LastMinute.Com. Their customer service is easily the worst I have ever received, two months of pointless stress, providing personal documents and phone calls every other day all to receive blanket emails back and go around in circles. Their T&Cs mean they can blame everything on the airline and the hotel, neither of which you can deal with or speak to because they will only deal with the travel agent, who are unwilling to act on your behalf. After escalating it to the CEO complaints department they admitted the customer service wasn't efficient yet wouldn't do anything about it apart from 'assure me' that the call handlers will be spoken to - thanks Chantelle I feel much better now. I hope they enjoy my £400 because they won't be getting another penny from me.

I booked flights for next week through lastminute.com via skyscanner and everything seemed the be straight forward. My payment was accepted and I waited for my receipts to arrive. That is when I was sent a "your booking is processing" email that said they would let me know when it had processed. 4 hours later I still had not received confirmation so called up the customer care who said I would receive it within 24 hours. It was while on this phone call that I discovered they had added insurance onto my booking without my permission. I asked them to remove it as I did not ask for nor need it. 24 hours late still no confirmation so called back and they said I would receive it within the next 2 hours. I then received an email to say my booking had been cancelled! Went back onto skyscanner and the cheapest tickets were now £50 quid more expensive that what I had originally paid and the flights with lastminute.com that I had booked are now over £100 more. When I called the team up I had a very unhelpful customer care team provider who simply told me that it wasn't lastminute's problem but one of the airlines. These flights shouldn't be made available (and according to skyscanner they are still available) if lastminute aren't able to fulfill. I am shocked by the service I received from last minute and will not be using them again.

I made a booking with Last Minute.com a few months ago for trips to Europe. When we booked the flight we got the option to pick different flight schedules. We chose for both flights to leave in the afternoon which we were charged an extra 100 GBP instead of the early morning 7am. 3 Days before our departure date we received a flight schedule change to the earlier flight times which we initially decided to avoid. At that point there was no way cancelling the booking anymore as I had also organized accommodation for my 76 year old mother over lastminute.com meeting us there. Never mind tickets for events on that weekend. I informed them I was not happy about that and we want later flights, but nothing could be done as there were no other options except from the return flight but that was late at night and again not suitable for our arrangements. For weeks I have been in contact with customer services but they advised there is basically nothing that can be done from their side as I have to contact the airline myself. When I requested the contact details for their supervisor I received the response that several Managers were involved regarding this and the outcome is still the same. When I insisted again on the contact details I got a response I should use the same email address and just include attention to a Name which would be the supervisor. At this point I wonder if they actually tried to resolve this and just declined as they are not seeing it as in their responsibility. I made the booking with lastminute.com and they also received the payment. Everything was organized over their website. What is the point in using an Agency if they just push all responsibility from them? I usually do not like to give bad Feedback but I am more than happy to make an exception in this case. This will definitely be my last booking with Lastminute.com.

I booked a hotel through last minute.com for myself and my partner On the day of the booking my partner was taken to hospital after having a seizure. Whilst at the hospital i attempted to ring the hotel to cancel my booking. I was unsuccessful for proceeded to ring Lastminute.com as this was who i booked with. I was informed on the phone that last minute would deal with the situation and i needed not to do anything else. They would go through their procedure to try and get a refund or the opportunity to re-book due to a medical emergency. I was asked to retain documentation from the hospital to prove we were there.

I did all of the above and went back to my partner. After numerous emails and phone calls back and forth with Lastminute.com we were told there was nothing we could do as we had been put down by the hotel as a no show. This is unfair as i left it upto Lastminute.com to inform the hotel as i was unable to get through and at hospital. Lastminute.com customer service man assured me he would take it from there and i need not do anything further with regards to the hotel. Now i am having to contact the hotel myself to try and rectify the situation. Something i feel Lastminute.com should have done a better job sorting.

Deplorable,

I recently booked a flight to St Lucia - 7th to 15th February 2018. I did it online at their website. Unbeknown to me the date changed to 15th March 2018 - and before anyone says that this is not Lastminute.com fault, Yes it is/was - I know that I had booked the correct date. I notified them and was told that I would have to pay in order to get the flight date changed - an extra £2000 on top of the £1300 I'd already paid for 8 days. Unfortunately little did I know that I could have gone on the flight - and on the day of the 15th February presented to the St Lucia's airport and tell them that I needed to return to the UK due to a family emergency - apparently I would have just had to pay a nominal amount instead of the extra £765 Lastminute charged me after I informed them that somewhere along the line, their customer services operator (in India) was charging me an extortionate amount of money for a flight where I was only going to be in the country for 8 days.

Do not use this company. Their practices are unethical, deplorable and fraudulent.

Booked a Christmas holiday package to Bali £4000+ which is a huge amount for me and my partner who is a first year teacher, this was a once in a lifetime holiday for us. First flight was delayed causing us to miss our next flight, the flight company themselves couldn't get us on another flight for 2 days as it was Christmas Eve which isn't lastminutes fault, but! It turns out we were not provided a sufficient amount of transfer time (10 minutes under the minimum) which if we had been we would of made the next flight! I called lastminute.com during the issue and the staff member really didn't seem to care and advised I check with the insurance that I will be covered if I take a flight home (which I had to pay for) stuck in Germany airport on Christmas Eve with no help we took the flight home. I've now been battling for a refund on the holiday which has taken 3 months! My whole claim was for the holiday price £4194, loss in currency exchange £500, return flights home £240 and compensation as seen as they ruined our Christmas. They have refused to give me anything over the £4194. They constantly tried to push the blame on the flight company and keep me in the middle where as they should of refunded me the money and sorted the issue with the flight about the transfer times themselves as seen as I bought the package from them. I also contacted the flight company that delayed us who sent me there proof of minimum transfer time which was not met. There reasons to not refund me we're ridiculous and some of the information they used against me was completely false. The facts are they provided me the holiday which I didn't get due to an error on there behalf and didnt refund me on the money I lost. I will never use there disgusting service again

Fraudulent Company

Last minute.com is a fraudulent company. I called the company to book a hotel room for a night in London. The agent gave me options and suggested a hotel Saffron House in the UK which I paid for but, the reservation I received via my email was a Saffron House in India. I could not believe what has just happened so, I called again only to be told that I have to wait for 48 hours for my issue to be resolved. The next day the manager called and said there was no trace of the conversation I had with the agent so, they trying to identify if an agent made the call or I booked the hotel on the website. I called my credit card company and cancelled the card. Nobody should use this company.

They charged me for a booking then changed it to a booking outside the city for the same price, the website showed initially that it was available when in fact it wasn't, after they got the money they put me in the hotels they really had, I would have never booked on that website if it wasn't for that specific hotel

If Kafka invented a travel company this is it. Booked an expensive hotel... only after paying did I get an email saying all the facilities (pool, etc) closed! They claim I should have known despite the main picture advertising the hotel showing the pool etc. Info about closure hidden as part of some standard t&c for hotel, after clicking an extra drop down box, at the foot of a long page. Demanded my money back to discover customer service is an offshore call centre that doesn't give a monkey's and where you hold forever. They refuse to give details of who is dealing with things, referring to a "team" that's working on it, and denying that thye have an email address. Currently refusing me a refund despite them having separately forwarded me an email of apology from hotel about the facilities and saying that I can have a full, zero cost refund! I will update this review when resolved.

The most appalling company I have dealt with, no exaggeration. Rip off merchants that don't care, with no-one to complain to. Just don't use them.

Was trying to stay at a hotel room the same night I booked. This "website" actually showed up through google and seemed legit. Entered my card info, received a confirmation email. This seemed sketchy, as I did not receive a confirmation email from the actual hotel I was staying at, but rather from this website. Did not really think much of it. Show up at the hotel, reservation never made. I was furious. Spent an hour on the phone on hold until I actually got connected to someone in a foreign country call center. Was put on hold and when she returned she said she had called the hotel and the hotel said there were no more rooms. I wanted to go back into the lobby and ask the man if he did indeed receive a call from them, but I didn't. She said I would receive my refund in 3-5 business days. Now I'm terrified to even call my bank to see how much money they actually took out and if they took any more out. Definitely getting a new card after this please stay away.

What a scam, try complaining to them, an impossible task. We had flights booked through last-minute but unfortunately 4 days prior to travelling I suffered a serious leg injury. We phoned customer service and were promised alternative flights for our new date 9th May, Monday morning we received an email detailing the new flights, we accepted with a £191 change of booking fee. Tuesday we received an email saying that these flights were not available and they would send us a new booking. The following morning Wednesday, we received details of another flight unfortunately these were for exactly the same day as we had just cancelled.
We phoned customer services as once again to inform them of their mistake, they then offered us the exact identical flights, yes those that were supposedly not available! However they now wanted over £300.00 extra booking fee, why, because it was now less than 1 day prior to the day we were cancelling, not our fault We said you caused the problem. Answer pay up or you lose your previous payment! If that is not a scam then what is. We did tell them to stick their flights where a monkey sticks it's nuts. Robbing ba*****s.

I booked a holiday package with them and was told i would recieve a confirmation email with all the details and after 3 days of not recieving it, i rang them up and they had no idea what was going on and said they would book it up and send me an email. I got an email 30 minutes later saying the package was no longer available and that i would get a refund!

1 star! If possible, I would not put any stars at all. Terrible experience. We booked our trip and they took the money from our account immediately. After 8 days they call us back to say that the room that we want is not available anymore. Despite explaining that by the time we had done the booking, it was still available, they say to us that someone from the team will call us back. Nobody was calling and everytime that we called them, the people at the telephone center would say that they do not know and someone responsible for our reservation will call us back. They did not. After calling and calling and sending e-mails, each member of the team would offer a different kind of room. After we agreed, nobody was confirming. We would call back and everytime they would give us a different package with a different kind of room and different price, despite us having confirmed for the first offer. The whole process took us 3 weeks to sort things out. And they did not offer money return, so that we could book with another platform, such as expedia etc. After we think that we have finished, we arrive at our hotel. We had booked all inclusive and paid for that. There, the staff says to us that we had booked full board. We show to them the e-mail confirmation by lastminute.com and they say to us that the reservation had been done through expedia! After calling and e-mailing them again and again, lastminute.com say that they will sort it out with the hotel. The next day the hotel offered a boat trip and we booked it. People who booked that trip could upgrade to all inclusive, if they had not done so. We receive an e-mail by lastminute that all are OK. As we come back from the boat trip, the hotel says to us that they would upgrade us to all inclusive, since we took the trip and that lastminute.com agreed with them ( although we had paid extra money to lastminute for all inclusive for all days). We call them again describing the whole situation and explaining that we have paid for all inclusive and not for full board. And they reply that now after the boat trip you are all inclusive, which was actually offered by the hotel, and not lastminute that we paid extra. We have written a complaint e-mail and asked for refund of the money paid for all inclusive, as last minute had paid the hotel for full board, and now after 8 days nobody has come back to us. Just do not book with them! Unreliable and actually you can get the same prices from other platforms, such as expedia as they did... Do not book with them!

Eware of this website - I tried purchasing a KLM ticket on the website and was informed that my transaction did not go through because the ticket price had gone up. I was then provided with a revised quote that was ~35% higher than the initial quote.

Irritated by the suggestion, I proceeded to close the page and went in search for the same ticket on another website. I found the ticket elsewhere at a reasonable price and made the purchase - the transaction went through and I had no issues (there was no repricing!). After purchasing the ticket, I decided to check my Amex card to make sure the transaction went through only to realize lastminute.com had charged me despite telling me the transaction did not go through!

I immediately called them to explain what happened and was treated as though I was crazy despite the fact that this was all their fault. Logically speaking - why would I have purchased another ticket at the same price 10 minutes later if the initial transaction had gone through?

I made the complaint and just received an email suggesting that I would only be receiving ~25% of the total amount of the ticket which is just ridiculous and totally unacceptable.

I plan to aggressively fight what I deem to be a fraudulent act by the Company but figured it would be best to warn all out there to be extremely careful and completely abstain from booking with this company (there are way more reliable options out there) - If you still decide to make a purchase on here - tread cautiously and know that you were forewarned.

Purchased a 5 star hotel room for one nigh from their secret hotels sections. Arrived at the hotel and was put in a cheaper room than was advertised (what I purchased).

Spoke to their customer services who sounded tired and were not very helpful, said someone would get back to me but have not heard anything.

Turns out Lastminute actually paid the hotel for a cheaper room and kept the change themselves. I wonder how many people this has happened to and if there are people who have not noticed and how many thousands Lastminute is stealing from people every year.

Booked a Holiday in Berlin with Lastminute.Com they provided the Shuttle Transfer service from the Airport to the Hotel this is want you get Taxi to pick us up at airport over 1/2 hour late.
Taxi to pick us up at Hotel, never turned up, also unable to contact Shuttle Service on phone numbers provided or Lastminute. Com.
It cost me 50 euros for a taxi to get to Airport.
After 4weeks of requesting Last minute to refund the taxi fare still will not accept they were at fault.
Please if you are thinking of using Lastminute don't save yourself a lot of hassle and save your money.

DO NOT USE! CROOKS! Booked a hotel in Palma De Mallorca over Christmas. Booked and paid for a triple room but when we arrived lastminute.com had paid for a double. Hotel wanted more money for extra bed! Made countless calls to lastminute but they refused to help and consistently lied. In the end they told us to stay at another hotel and they would issue a refund. 4 WEEKS LATER I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY! Disgraceful. Have made numerous phone calls to no avail. Rude and unhelpful staff. Say they will call/email but never do. My bank is now involved trying to recoup over £1200! SHAMEFUL! Should be closed down! PLEASE DO NOT USE! They will take your money and you never get it back! Thieves and liars!

After booking a four night trip to new York in December, we were told when we arrived at the hotel that thermometer I had reserved wasn't available, instead of a room with 2 double beds we got a room with one double bed for 3 adults!
After calling lastminute.com I was told that they couldn't help us! We ended up with a camp bed on wheels brought up to our room at 1am! Not happy to say the least and I will continue to write bad reviews to save other people from encountering a horrific experience as I did

STAY FAR FAR AWAY

I purchased a ticket from Honolulu to SoCal. For starts they took way more out of my account than stated when asked for a break down of what was taken they said they could not provide it. I needed to change my departure date and they told me it would be another 351 on top of what I already paid (WHY? I bought insurance) when asked for a refund which they stayed I would get 90% back they sent me an email saying Id get a refund for 271.36 today I get an email saying I will only be refunded 4 so my $411 ticket I paid for I only get $5 Im beyond furious, I will never use this company again and I recommend no one else does either. The customer service is terrible.
