They Cancel flights, airline authorises refund, they refuse to refund as they say they havent had the authority which they have had. Chargeable phone line and then they keep you holding on and refuse to take any action to sort it out.
I got a very good deal with a hotel room in Preston, the service was very good and the hotel room fantastic!
Overall, good short break and nice hotel, if more choices on airports, that will be even better, really don't like Gatwick airport.
I have been using Last minute. Com several times and so far I had no glitches. Looking forward to use your services again.
Cancel order and still take over £3000!
Lastminute.com (Bravonext SA Chiasso NLD) took my money after cancelling the order!
The amount they took is over GBP 3000. 00!
Now I have to claim the money back from my bank through a dispute.

I ordered a flight and hotel deal and paid. The order was pending confirmation. On the next day I get an email telling me they failed to confirm the booking.
I called my bank to see whether my money was taken. The GBP3000 was only "authorised", not taken yet.
I called lastminute.com helpline to get an explanation, they say they could not confirm the flight and thus cancelled the whole deal.
I asked about the money and whether I will be charged. They say it's unlikely as they cancelled the deal.
Next day, I check my bank account and it's debited of over £3000!
This is a scam! I am £3000 short now.
Now I have to deal with my bank to get my money back.
This kind of practices should be reported to the authorities.
Why do they take the money when they know they could not deliver and cancelled the deal. Why don't they confirm the deal and then take the money?!?! £3000. 00 is a lot of money for an individual - it's comparatively small for a company. This is asymmetrical.
I lost trust in this brand, lastminute.com.
Booked 3 seats with last minute.com Monday 19/8/19 for jet2 flight LS 1412 paid £744 Alicante/stanstead received correct email details and booking ref.
On jet2 website checking in etc and spotted different flight times/LS 1528.
I immediately rang last minute.com and spoke to a call centre in India. They promised to sort out error in 48 hours. Needless to say no one has contacted me. In the meantime I rang jet2 direct who were extremely helpful and gave me a full refund after confirming that last minute.com's email had in fact requested the different flight after realising not 3 seats available without telling me.
Jet2 also advised me that you only have 24 hours to get a full cancellation refund after which time you loose all of it. So good job I didn't wait 48hours what a con trick be careful and book direct and don't use this outfit can't be trusted.
Dire company do not do simple requests, having a nightmare getting an outcome as had to cancel due to incompetency, no one calls back, i have proof my requests ignored, no no one confirms cancellation. Currently going through Resolver and credit card claiming money back

Lastminute.com will let you 'book' a holiday and instantly take your money (£1500 of it!) they will then cancel it with NO explanation and will then have the cheek to say the refund could take 20 days to process. So you are left with no money unable to re-book your holiday!
Never ever book with last.minute.com, they will take your money then cancel your holidays with no explanation. I thought last.minute.com was a well established and trusted company - wow how wrong was I! I will be reporting them to watchdog.
Every single comment on social media is negative, they are doing this to so many customers it is totally unacceptable.

Book directly with the airline and hotel
Booked through last minute there was an error in the name on my flight ticket they will take 7 days to see if it will be possible to change the details by which point flights will have gone up or not be available I didn't make the error!

I booked a flight with lastminute over 2 months ago. Instantly after booking, I realised I had added 1 extra letter to the name by accident. I instantly contacted them and asked them to fix the error. After never receiving a reply via email, I called them. The first time I called them the lastminiute employee told me that Virgin Atlantic will be in contact with me within 2 days. After 2 days I decided to call the airline directly and ask them what is going on. They told me that they never received anything from lastminute and that they would put a note on my name as the airline can not make changes when booked through a 3rd party. Virgin Atlantic also informed me that it is completely free to amend a name up to 3 letters.
I have now called them 4 times and every time I call them they say that someone will be in contact with me in the next couple of hours, which never happens. I have now been told this 4 times. Now I do not know what to do as they will not help me.
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS COMPANY HAS GOOD REVIEWS ON TRUSTPILOT. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, PAY A LITTLE BIT MORE AND BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH THE AIRLINE. IT IS NOT WORTH THE FUSS TRYING TO DEAL WITH LASTMINUTE!
Horrible Service, very angered and shocked!
Hi,
I spoke to several agents I had an issue with my name on the booking almost 10 days before my travel and that it needs to be addressed before travel.
No one assured me of the changes till a day before my travel. I was still kept in limbo.
So I asked for refund: money instead of vouchers. One of the customer agents mentioned i can get a refund but will need to check back for quote.
So I went ahead a made a new booking. Soon after I called last minute to get my earlier refund, I was however told due to insurance I can get voucher refund. I insisted I had spoken earlier about money refund and that the earlier agent had given me that option.
She dismissed it saying I am only entitled 90% through vouchers and not money. I insisted this needs to be looked into for money refund as promised earlier. She told me she would look into it and come back to me in 7 days to let me know whether the refund is through money/voucher.

And here I am today getting an email that I am not entitled for any refund for no error at my end.

Easy to use, fast, efficient. Would use again. Never had any problems with booking tickets through them.
I would have given them 0* if it had been possible. We made a mistake in booking with them. Long story but we find that they will not cancel the flights even though we requested the cancellation hours after making the mistake. I am told that I cannot cancel the flights AND I cannot sell them to somebody else. I intend going to the airline and explaining all the problems.
My advice to you is do not use them.
In fact I did not go on to their website. I went onto Booking.com and was redirected there when we went to book flight + hotel. I thought that this was part of Booking.com which I have used in the past and I had been happy with the experiences.
So beware of Booking.com as well.
They are in on the sharp practice of fleecing people.

I booked tickets for myself and my family a month ago. I received confirmed e ticket numbers and then just as am about to be care free I receive an email from lastminute saying oh one of your flight has been cancelled. Not only that but instead of sorting out the cancelled flight they asked me to liaise with the airline directly. Fed up with the mess I asked them to cancel and refund but they wont budge saying oh we cant give you a full refund. So now I can t even book an alternative flight. Never booking via these company!
Not to say the least their customer service are crap as well. Rude and they would just hung up without saying anything.

Absolutely appalling customer service. So unhelpful and very very incompetent. Can't even process simple changes and needs 7 days. Stay away if you don't want to waste your money.
It was easy to book, Jet2 are a great airline to fly with - good luggage allowance and plenty of room on the flight.
The hotel was very poor - shower head was broken, toilet broke on last day. Towels were not changed.
Absolutely appauling service from lastminute.com when I've booked a package holiday from them. We've booked to go to Brussels for a long weekend and they have got us coming home from an airport in Holland! A different bloody country all together. They have tried to tell me this isnt their fault and that I can contact RyanAir and change my flights. Which would now cost me £128 extra and I'd loose my priority boarding and luggage allowance. If you go online the flight was only £30 extra. Why would you even advertise a package holiday like this? Never ever ever will I or my family buy from this company again. I highly recommend everyone read all terms before buying a "package" deal from them. Martin Lewis should *******% do an article on this sort of issue to prevent customers from dealing with situations like this.

Processed a simple booking via lastminute.com. Didn't hear from them for days, ended up calling to confirm that the ticket was issued. They didn't know, and couldn't confirm whether it was even going to be issued. When asked if they weren't going to process the booking, also said they didn't know. I ended up being stuck in limbo for 5 days. Every time I called I was told a confirmation of whether the booking was going to be processed (not even a confirmation itself!) would come in 24h. Had to give them an ultimatum on the phone. Subsequently, the booking was cancelled.
I wasted 5 days unable to make other bookings, prices went up significantly, all because this company advertises a service it cannot actually deliver.
No apologies, no compensation offered.
Answer: I want an email address for LastMinute.com through which to log my complaint and ask for an explanation and partial refund.
