When the airline cancelled my flights (total paid was 540 eur) I was given a refund of 23 eur from LastMinute, a joke!
Moreover, on the airline website it is written if the airline cancells your flight they give you a full refund, but if you book through LastMinute you get almost nothing, fhe rest I can only assume they keep. Never ever book with them! Avoid like the plague!
Absolutely horrific experience and loss of money. Flight got grounded because of the coronavirus and I was unable to make my hotel booking. They blocked the phones lines so I couldn't get through after weeks they told me that it was being treated as a no show. Had a future booking with another booking website and they gave me a refund immediately I also had the option of moving the booking. Lost more than £700. Never again!
This travelling agency site is a SCAM! They won't return people's money back! All the other booking travelling sites, hotels and even the airlines are offering to return people's money but for some special reason lastminute.com won't! They want to give me some bull $#*! voucher because that's another way of them of keeping people's money. I will proceed with my bank and solicitor about this. I hope everyone that's working for lastminute.com leave their job so these people that owe this company lose their money as they are clearly a greedy scamming company. Like imagine they won't give people's money back when their is an epidemic going on
This is the worst agency ever, no support whatsoever, the do the booking and collect the money, in case of any issues you are on your own, consultants are rude and totally useless.
This is the worst Travel site i have ever seen, is like scamming people out of money, i ask for my booking to thailand to be rebooked for latter date because off coronavirus and they refused? I have lost all my money which i worked 2 jobs to save, soon this panadamic is over i will take my revenge 1 way or another
THIS COMPANY HAS TO CLOSE SHOP, THEY HAVE OUR MONEY AND WILL NOT GIVE IT BACK. Never book with this company, we were due to go on holidays yesterday but got no personal email to apologise only a standard letter. How can this company continue to advertise for holidays, they are robbers and do not book with this company, we have to get this company closed down.
This is the worst travel site. Do not use it. All they want is your money. Customer service is appalling. I booked a weekend away and needed to change the dates due to a close family wedding. Last minute refused to change the dates and wanted to charge me almost the full price as a cancellation fee. Taking matters into my own hands I contacted both the hotel and airline who were very happy to change dates (airline fees applied). Dealing with LM to get them to confirm the changes was so stressful though. You are dealing with an Indian call centre who are really not interested in doing anything other taking the customer's money. Now the world is in corona virus lock down, LM are still telling me my Easyjet flight is confirmed despite Easyjet having grounded all their planes for the next 2 months. All they say, is that if I wish to cancel it will cost 95% of the booking fee! They are shocking and should not be allowed to operate like this. They are nothing more than thieves.
Trying to get money back from a holiday which never took place due to coronavirus, exceptional circumstances, guess what? Cancellation fee is 100% of the price! Never, ever, again. Hope they go out of business, making money on people's harm, paying for nothing!
DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THEM! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Would leave zero stars if I could! Been trying to get in touch for 3 weeks, someone picked up my call 10 days ago but as soon as I said the word refund they hung up on me! After trying to get a hold of them since, I finally managed to do so yesterday. The assistant first told me that I would be getting a refund but that I have to wait until they get the money back from the hotel and flight company. Then she said that I would be getting the refund in the form of a voucher to use with last minute until end of 2020. I asked to speak to a manager and was told "no you can't speak to a manager". When I asked why I can't have my money back seeing as they are not able to provide the service, she said "so the airlines and hotels don't go bust, for the economy"...? She clearly confirmed that last minute would be getting these refunds so this isn't about the airlines! It's absolutely disgraceful that they are getting the refund but not giving it to the customer and instead keeping it for themselves!
I will give them 0 or less. I booked my flights through lastminute and the country I was supposed to travel to has closed its borders due to Covid-19. Whilst my friend who booked through expedia got voucher for the full amount, I was only given voucher for 90% by lastminute.com to rebook my travel on another date and l lost over £80. This is unprofessional. They are crooks and not reliable. Avoid them at any cost. They are there only to make money.
There are no emails available to contact this Company. You are not able to send a complaint nor inform them on any matter what so ever. You call the helpline number and it informs you of the costs of the call multiple times wasting your time and money trying to call them. By the time you're able to select your option to be transferred to you are told to go online to find the information and return to the main menu once again wasting your time and money. This company is unethical and it blows my mind that it is still operational and other companies still do business with them. I am absolutely disappointed at the actions of this Company. Disgusting! I would furthermore like to share why i needed to contact them. I had booked a ticket that was cancelled due to COVID- 19 which is fully understandable. My problem come with the refund that will take 2 months. Again i understand that it may take a while but i will be refunded in a form of a voucher. I am a foreigner in Germany trying to get back home. If it is going to take 2 month for me to get a refund in the form of a voucher. I have to wait here for 2 months so I can use this voucher. If it were a cash refund I would be able to buy a ticket so get home and get the money put back into my account when they are able to send it, but instead i'm stuck and cant get hold of anyone to explain that I would like a cash refund. How am I meant to survive for 2 months in a foreign country with less and less money everyday so i am able to get my voucher to come back home.
On the last minute.com website it asks you not to call but they provide no standard information on what will happen with holidays cancelled due to the current health crisis. Surely a simple statement would be the right thing to do regarding repayment or a voucher system. And yet they are still taking bookings!
This has got to be the worst holiday company in the world. I flew out to Fuerteventura a week last Friday and after a couple of days the hotel went into lockdown I tried to contact them regarding my return flight home & boarding pass. This was impossible as every phone number for them was permanently engaged, I then found out our flight home was cancelled and still no contact from them. In the end I had to arrange flights home and pay an extortionate price, I have been home three days and have still not been able to contact them, I have tried the web site put my reference number and all I get is No refund on this booking. They should have given us the option to cancel a couple of days before we went not just let us go and not do anything. They completely let their customers down, we just had to fend for ourselves.
24/3/2020. Had to cancel a trip due to travel restrictions from Covid19. They didn't even acknowledge my request! A holding e-mail came back and since then, silence! Needless to say I lost all my money. Disgraceful way to treat customers. I'll never use this shower again and I recommend that everyone reading this takes heed of my misfortune... Update 13/4/2020:- After 6 written messages and a phone call to customer care & I still only have platitudes and holding messages - nobody has addressed the problem. Today, their "care" team hung up the phone without even waiting for me to ask my question - Atrocious! I'm taking this to all the relevant regulators this week - and they better believe that I have both the time and the patience to see this through to the end... Additional Update 18/5/2020:- after reporting them to the ECC and initiating a chargeback on my credit card, I finally got an offer of "Travel Credit" for the full amount - presumably this is the Government guaranteed scheme introduced last month. I still don't recommend Lastminute.com - they stonewalled and therefore forced me to fight like a tinker to get satisfaction! Appalling way to deal with people! Final Update 2/9/2020:- Credit finally arrived... glad to have it. They need to do some serious work with their customer service dept...
I booked a trip to Houston tx (hotel fly and car) soon I step out of the airplane my problem start, they lost my baggage, i went to pick up the car was already booked but they not give to me because they request to me an international driver licence but im usa citizen so I don't need! I have to rent another car with another company, I went to the hotel and can not give me the room because lastminute took the money from my account but they not pay the hotel I wait 3 h in the hotel hall my kids was sleeping in the cauch and after 40 days im still waiting for the refund. Today call me but they not promise me they gona give me the money back. Ill be fighting with them and put a bad review on all socials, I want my money back
Started with booking a car. They informed me by email that they couldn't book it. So phoned them up and they said they would cancel it and refund me which would take two weeks to arrive in my bank.
Ok I'm free to book somewhere else then find out later that they book me a hire car.
Ok so ask for a refund. Reply they will get round to it but it won't be a full refund. And it go's on.
Now they have pulled their complaints procedure off the internet. Wonder why?

Booked a flight and hotel package in Indonesia
Double checked all the flights were confirmed before leaving as they had originally cancelled our return flight and put us on another flight the next day. We left before the quaratine requirement was issued. 2 days after arriving in Indonesia we get an email saying our flight home has been cancelled. No new flight booked. No phone call or even email response to help us figure this out. They left us stranded in Bali with no help what so ever
Spend 2 days trying to contact them. We ended up having to pay close to $1000 per person with another company to get home. Pretty much a complete nightmare because of there negligence we felt completely helpless. Exactly what you dont want from a holiday. Dont bother booking with lastminute.com this has been a horrendous experience all because of this company
On the recommendation of the Australia government and the present worldwide threat of Coronavirus I cancelled my flights to Japan. The airline Qantas has publicly announced they would give vouchers to those that have to cancel. I have tried to contact Lastminute, com several times to cancel my flights. Their site tells you to go to the airline. Their site tells you to go to the agent. Neither of them will talk to me! So I am unable to cancel my flights. Therefore I am being defrauded by them both. All they had to do was tell the airline to cancel my flights in line with the airlines policy. What is so difficult and why will they not communicate with their customers. Absolutely disgraceful. Why would anybody use a company like this?
From beginning to end, we were also caught up in the corvid experience which doubled the nightmare, were told by the hotel they have paid the refund back to the company bu5 we hav snot seen anything.
Answer: I want an email address for LastMinute.com through which to log my complaint and ask for an explanation and partial refund.
