Booked flights only to Barcelona on Feb 27th. Less than 30 minutes later cancelled. They received the refund from the airline on the 5th March. STILL waiting 4 months later for it. Called many times. RIP OFF company. DO NOT USE! Awful customer service. Avoid at all costs
Disgraceful company. I have been trying for weeks to get a refund for a 4 day holiday to New York for myself and four friends that was cancelled due to coronavirus. I have repeatedly asked for the details of their solicitors and telephone numbers to take further action. They have said that the refund is at "stage three" but refuse to state what "stage three" is. I have opened a case with the Competion Markets Authority on the Government Website who are investigating any company that has acted unlawfully and unfairly during the Coronavirus outbreak. They are looking into LastMinute.com on my behalf. I strongly advise all other people reading this review to take the same action. The more complaints received the higher chance of achieving a refund and this disgraceful company being shut down.
I am Still getting asked for help from people waiting for refunds... so for any future people wishing to use lastminute.con... I would advise you look elsewhere... I was lied to constantly, as were thousands, as you can see from other reviews... it is suspected that the only good reviews are by the company staff trying to put a positive spin on the problems. So. Lied to. Told the refund was being prossesed, then after months of waiting, they changed the Web page, so it was impossible to get through to anyone. No contact numbers, no updates. As I have posted before. Your bank can order a visa recharge for you, forcing a refund back into your bank account, as long as you paid with a card. They just need any information you have from lastminute.con... It is the best way... Even now. However, for me I would never use this company for going anything. The thing is the owner who lives in Switzerland, earning God knows how much on your interest, possibly cares less. Good luck in your refunds, and don't use them if you have any sense
This company does not want to give refunds due to covid 19 cancellations. Jet 2 customers are far better treated by booking direct with Jet 2 than through this third party agent.

The worst travel agent i have dealt with. Due to covid-19, my flight was cancelled and they did not want to refund us. They mislead us on the refund request.
It has been 2 months so far on trying to get our cash refund back and to luck.
I did made a compliant on the Airline, a dispute at my bank and a complaint on Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
They are keeping hold on our money. DO NOT BOOK WITH LASTMINUTE.COM

They have actually objected to a full refund I claimed back to back to my Credit Card, which is due to Flybe (a code share partner on local flights for Virgin Atlantic) going into receivership!
Virgin Atlantic and lastminute.com by law should have made a full refund within 7 days of the cancellation, especially as this happened before the Coronavirus pandemic blocked all flights to Orlando!
lastminute.com now expect my Credit Card company to pay them again for flights that I have not had.
I will NEVER use lastminute.com or Virgin Atlantic again!
I bought a flexible flight through them and asked them to make a change (over the phone as I could not do it online), they called me back the next day asking to accept additional charges (which I did straight away), however they did not send a change confirmation. I called them back the next day just to hear that they were busy and that I had to wait but that everything would have been done for me. I tried to call them after a few days again (as I could see that the flight I was trying to book was not available anymore so I started to worry) but could not get through and finally today (after nearly a week), I managed to speak to someone who confirmed they were working on it and straight after I received a phone call saying that my flight could not be changed! In a nutshell, they waited nearly a week to process the change and meanwhile the requested flight had been sold out! Also, they tried to say that it was the airlines' fault as "sometimes flights can be cancelled" but, as I can see from the airlines website, there are 2 flights on that requested day (I told lastminute.com I didn't mind either of them as long as I could fly on that day) which have not been cancelled, they are simply sold out as lastminute.com waited so long to process my request!
My flights were canceled in March. I accepted voucher option from ladtminute. Com. Still waiting. Obviously the company stole my money and tricked me. Will never use them again and will make sure to warn as many people as I can.
Absolutely $#*! company! Rude company not helpful at all! Refused refund due to WORLD PANDEMIC! Totally out of my control! Stealing peoples money! Disgusting stay away from this company! Never ever will I use this company again!
I bought an airline ticket to Sri Lanka yesterday for travelling on June 18 th. I purchased the ticket for £725 that included a package to be able to cancel change date. I just found out that tourists are not allowed to enter Sri Lanka until Saugus the 1 st. So I cancel the ticket and they have said they will refund only £176. I am so shocked. After paying for a special package, they are just refunding £176. Really despicable service. I will never ever use that company again.

I am completely outraged with what Last minute.com! My name is Florina Curteanu, I asked a friend to book a flight for me and my family to Kefalonia. I canceled the flight as lockdowns were coming down in all Europe because of COVID-19. I CALLED THE LASTMINUTE CALL CENTER 3 TIMES AND I WAS ASSURED THAT I WILL BE CALLED BACK TO DISCUSS ABOUT A REFUND. No-one called.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK, YOU CAN'T MAKE PEOPLE GET ON A PLANE AND DIE BY NOT GIVING THEM THEIR MONEY BACK!
I wont be booking with them again and I would advise anyone not to book with them. We paid £3000 for a 10 day holiday in Cancun where the hotel was not up to standard, all the facilities were closed (it was not as described) and sub-standard food gave me food poisoning. In short I received:
Poor service provision, (in not providing the standard of holiday I paid for)
Misrepresentation of facts, (It was subsequently alleged by them that I had sought to cancel my holiday after I had it - I had not!)
Ineptitude in resolving this matter, (They made an offer of compensation and then withdrew it)
Lack of empathy and understanding, (using derisory and rude language used in response to me)
Lack of recognition a legal responsibility to make recompense, (as required by law)
On that basis my solicitor will be in touch.
My flight (Easyjet) from Amsterdam was cancelled on Feb 11,2020 and the airline had since paid lastminute my refund, but up till now lastminute.com has not refunded me. I've made several calls and written so many emails, but the company still wouldn't give me my refund. They're very nice to you when you want to book, but they become hostile when you want to get a refund. Avoid them at all cost!
Shambolic. One word to sum up this company. Holiday cancelled and after weeks of trying to contact them eventually had an email ststing I would get a full refund. Then a week later stating that I had 14 days to make the final payment; then ignore my emails; tweets, and any form of communication. Trying to speak to someone is like trying to book a private interview with the Queen. Still none the wiser as to what is happening. They now blame the airline for the delay but I know that to be nothing short of a lie. Never ever again will I use this company for any future trips or holidays.
Last minute run for the hills don't to pay money back, don't answer the phone absolutely a joke don't use them, promise to phone you back and don't rubbish, rubbish, rubbish rubbish

I booked return business class tickets to fly to St. Barts in April. The flights were cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic. When I tried to rebook flights or obtain a refund they refused to assist me. Although the flights were purchased and paid for many months ago Lastminute.com will not assist me to get new flights booked and will not return calls or emails.
These guys are either crooks or have terrible customer service, I am unable to determine at this time. In any event I would avoid doing business with Lastminute.com.
I emailed their chief executive and chairman but to no avail. Neither bothered to get in touch with me.
Truly horrible service.
So I decided to book with them for me and my family. The holiday was cancelled by them due to Covid19. They not willing to refund me, they said we will give you credit voucher. Who told you I will book with you again? Also rude customer service over the phone. They will never let you speak to a manager.
No stars awarded I cannot contact Ryanair or lastminute.com. Last minute have a customer service telephone *******5499 on answering you are informed calls are charges at 7p a minute. Along protracted speech then asks to enter your booking id plus hash key or enter the telephone number from where you made the booking followed by the hash key. Despite doing this accurately several times the answer always is cannot find your booking and the call ends by them. There is no telephone for Ryanair and all e-mails from both companies are sent to you with "No Reply". How do I get to them?
Answer: I want an email address for LastMinute.com through which to log my complaint and ask for an explanation and partial refund.
