People do not understand that it is not just lastminute.com that do have difficulties with the refund. And after all they are just a MEDIOTER between the pax and the airline, which means that as soon as the Airline it is going to refund them we will receive the fund. What do you expect peopleee? There is no moreee 14 working days whats wrong with you. Great service as i spoke with their Customer service.
I purchased a family holiday to Malta and had to cancel due to Covid19 as I was not risking taking my 2 little children outside of the uk. I purchased my package with lastminute.com. I tried several times through endless phone calls and emails to both lastminute.com and flynowpaylater to explain myself. Lastminute.com said, flynowpaylater had already made payment, to whom I don't know as we were due to travel in August 2020 and I cancelled our holiday in March 2020. This was an instalment payment plan, flynowpaylater didn't give/ offer us a refund of our money but rather bullied us with threatening letters and phone calls until we payed in full the holiday we didn't go. We are in the process of finding a lawyer to retrieve our money as we don't think we have been dealt fairly. Flynowpaylater or lastminute.com didn't offer a voucher, accept change of dates or try to help us but rather took everything for a holiday that didn't happen. I purchased insurance which said change of date, information ect as I knew things like this can happen but when we showed that as a prove, both of these companies refused to help. I don't write reviews but am taking my time to write this so it saves someone from going through this heartache. You will hear from us soon flynowpaylater. I would have given 0 stars but the thingy doesn't allow 0 star. Very unreasonable companies, they didn't even investigate but went ahead to take everything from a family of 4 in this critical Covid19 times when money is a problem for everyone. DON'T BUY YOUR HOLIDAY FROM LASTMINUTE.COM OR FLYNOWPAYLATER.
Booked a holiday to go 30th July have to cancel due to the virus trying to get a answer about what to do next might as well ask for the winning lottery numbers this weekend totally and utterly useless sorry I booked with these clowns don't get caught out like I have
I have never seen like that company i bought a ticket which was saying flexible and then when i make the payment i have been told my ticket is not flexible and i have to pay airline changing fee and my insurance covers for out bond only so never pay ticket from this company
APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE! AVOID! Trying to get a refund for months now and nobody in customer service has any inclination on how to process. I have tried calling when they open at 8am still nobody answers... after 1 hr and nobody answers the phone... it's is appalling! Especially since it's a charge call
Lastminute.com will take your money and not confirm booking and you can't cancel until booking is confirmed by them so in short a SCAM to hold your money i wouldn't be surprised if they are going into administration as this is a very strange way of conducting business. Also help desk is infuriating as it's in Albania and they just read off script and tell you what's on screen that you are still waiting confirmation, so don't spend the 5 hours in the phone to them my advise don't use them.
Since booking our holiday in February we have had nothing but trouble. Full amount of holiday was taken immediately, then hotel tried to take payment again so our card was blocked in case of fraud. We took out the Premium Service Package at extra cost - don't bother it's not worth the paper it's written on! Only when you have confirmed the booking do they tell you your hotel may not be refundable if you cancel. At no point were we told before we pressed the booking button the hotel we had booked was non refundable! We have had to cancel due to personal reasons and they have refused to refund us a penny. The link to manage your booking wouldn't work and trying to get through to the customer services was a nightmare. When we finally did they were extremely unhelpful and clearly not interested in helping you. I would strongly recommend you don't book through them, I know we never will again!
Hi, I have just arrived in Seville from Manchester.
Despite around 8/9 calls to Last minute.com since Monday I have still received no email or correspondence to say my hotel has been changed. I was promised yesterday they would call or email many times.
The only reason I know about it, is because I happened to email the hotel directly myself on Saturday and the replied on Monday to say they were shut. Despite all my calls no one got back to me and I had to personally contact the sister hotel in Seville myself to confirm my reservation there.
If I had not sent an email in the first place on Saturday asking if the room had an iron, I would have turned up at Melia Seville just to find it shut. Then what would I have done?
Absolutely disgusting, horrendous service from last minute. Never again will I use you or recommend you. I expect my calls to be paid for over the last few days that I have had to make and also my extra taxi journey to the hotel. Appalling service.
My flight was cancelled at the start of April. I was immediately offered a refund, which I applied for and was told I would receive it in a few days.
It's now over three months later, and I have received nothing. You can't even speak to anybody on the customer service phone line anymore, and they were refusing to refund my hotel even when they were available.
I feel like I have been conned by a bunch of criminals - AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Against all the negative reviews: Lastminute kept their word, even though it needed some time. They gave us a voucher worth more than the original flight price and offer the option to get cash back in 6 months. For all those who can`t wait and think they`re the only people in the world, businesses need to operate just as we need to. Crises like Covid are not only difficult for consumers but also for them. They offer a service that gives us super cheap prices and all we can do is be patient and hope they`ll recover. I had a good experience with their customer service, and the waiting time of 5 months is in times like these more than justified. Just be nice to eachother. (:
My son booked a same day one way ticket from Paris to London with last minute.com. AFTER they had taken payment, they then emailed to say customer services would be in touch in 3 hours. Not the confirmation email he was expecting. They did not get in touch in 3 hours but later on emailed him to say that they were unable to book the ticket but would only refund the money in up to three day. Gues what no money refunded in 3 days. This was all my son, a student, had in his account and This left him stranded in Paris. As of today 5 days later they still have not refunded his money. A disgusting company run on a crooked basis.
Please guys do not book with this company. I booked a flight and after four days they still couldn't tell me if my flights are confirmed. However they took my money. Then I decided to cancel and last minute told me it can take three days. There call centre is in India somewhere.The people seem tired and can't be bothered attitude.
I had flight reservation, and they kept the ticket available on the sites, and when I just booked they took all the amount and they canceled the flight and I called the agency to ask them, why you canceled my flight they did not answer, I asked and when I should get the full refund I need to book another flight and they informed that during 3 months, what how come? What about If I do not have this amount to book another flight?
Why I should stay 3 months waiting for my amount to be refunded?

Yes, guys this company is a total fraud. Suddenly they send an e-mail which says my flight ticket is cancelled. On their web site it is written that I need to communicate with the airline. When I talk with the airline, they said that agency should handle it. I am not able to find a responsible person to talk. Their online service does not work. Don't buy ticket from these guys!
They refused to give my money back after cancelation. Despite me having a paid for package. Which said 'cancel anytime for any reason '. They wouldn't give my money back. So I did a CHARGEBACK with my bank lol
Please please please dont part with your hard earned money to last minute.com.

Booked two flights ( was canceled) but no one has informed me on their website everything is perfect but when I have contacted the airline company ( luck) they have told me that the flight was canceled and I should have already been informed by the agency.
Have tried to contact them since then for a refund since I have purchased a warranty for cancellation but they didn't answer any of my calls or letters.
We had our flight cancelled (due to covid-19) and we needed to buy new tickets from other company. We can't contact lastminute.com to get refund from the cancelled flights. That's a lot of money wasted.
Has to start legal papers just to get my refund! It's now 4 long months since they cancelled my trip. The Airline nor the hotel was ever paid so they are just holding my money and using it as an interest free loan!
I had my holiday cancelled in early March. I have been emailing and calling these jokers for 3 months, and have only had about 3 emails back. Every time i call, they say it is their "company policy" to only offer voucher refunds, which is hilarious, as their website says they offer cash refunds (back to payment method) and that I will have to wait at least 3 months, even though their website says payments should be back 14 days after airlines refund them...
So easy jet and Ryanair both refunded them for my flights in APRIL, and 2 months later, they're still denying this. Even though the airlines emailed me to tell me this!
I got my bank involved in March, and I have just received the credit back to my account.
It has been a long and very stressful process, but i recommend every one who has troubles, get your bank to do a charge back... They can run but they can't hide!
Answer: I want an email address for LastMinute.com through which to log my complaint and ask for an explanation and partial refund.
