I received a postcard with an offer of 50% off my order, three days after expiration. I called in an attempt to find a way to use the offer, but was told by a supervisor that they would not honor the expired offer. I have been a Lands End customer since the early 1980s, but stopped ordering most things when I felt the quality lagged when the company was taken over by Sears. I had found other places to purchase my clothing, but thought I would try Lands End again with the unsolicited offer I received. But instead of regaining a customer, their not good "customer service" declined my request on the day I received the postcard. The supervisor even went so far as to suggest my problem was with the Postal Service, not Lands End. So instead of regaining a longtime customer, poor customer care has unnecessarily lost one permanently. Do not expect them to be helpful, even when they are the cause of the problem.

Do not waste your time or money. How do you advertise being great at customer service just to be the opposite? Seems like this call center is full of bitter, old, mean hogs that have no real remorse for customers and no real ability to provide good customer service. They will get your order wrong and then act dry and nonchalant when you call in for resolution. If you want your card charge 3 times just to be running around returning merchandise or waiting forever to get it then good luck shopping with Land's End.

Ive been purchasing Lands End swim wear for more than 20 years and was accustomed to high quality materials and workmanship that usually resulted in a swimsuit lasting several years. I began using a new swim suit from LE in mid-Jan 2016, but was dismayed when in late Feb the fabric across the backside began disintegrating. I ordered a replacement on March 1, only to have the same thing happen again less than four weeks later. This time in addition to the backside, both side seams began losing their integrity. When I complained to Lands End customer service I received the following: Thank you for writing to Lands' End. The Industry standards for swim items are for three times a week pool use for three months. That's even with rinsing after each use as the chlorine will break down the Spandex while using and it's almost impossible to get it completely removed with rinsing. So basically, LE is selling swim wear that cannot be used for swimming. Using their industry standard formula, a suit can now be expected to last just 36 uses (3 times per week for 12 weeks, roughly one summer). Yet neither of the two suits Ive used this year lasted this long, and the second one began to disintegrate after just 15 uses, less than half the so-called industry standard. Lands End was once known for its high quality clothing and swimwear that could be counted on for several years of use, not just weeks. Those days appear to be long gone.

I love it, you can customize clothes pattern according to your own wishes. But shipping is too slowly sometimes!

Over a period of about 40 years, Land's End has been a place that I do some of my online shopping. Their selection is somewhat limited. I occasionally find what I would like to wear, but they seem to stick to serving only higher-end clientale.
Yes, the clothes they do carry are top-notch in quality. They are very well-known for carrying stock that is superior in every way. People brag that Land's End is where they found what they are wearing.
However, they are not very user friendly in the area of what sizes you can order their clothes in. It used to be that if a woman was larger than size 18-20, you almost could not find anything. I saw things I liked sometimes, but in order to find something to fit, I had to buy the men's clothes. I can't tell you why -), but as a woman who plain old just likes looking like a woman, and sometimes look feminine, I just was not finding what I wanted to wear. When I want to go out on a date with a guy, I don't always want to look like a man. My problem has been that although my bottom half can fit into woman's clothes, my top half is a size 48 F. Only the large men's shirts looked O. K., but they don't have the frills or lace I sometimes prefer.

Lands' End makes really cute swimsuits. The best part is, you can mix and match them. They are good quality and durable. They cost a little more but last a long time so, very much worth the price. This swimskirt has a good liner. It's really comfortable and it goes with a lot of different kinds of swim tops. I'll probably buy another one of these when the one I have now is worn out. This is good quality, versatile, and comfortable too.
