My items never shipped and I ended up having to struggle to find my books after classes had started.
Ease of ordering and delivery of item as expected for a great price.
Experience with Knetbooks was great! It was easy to purchase my rental book and book came quickly
I have not been advised as to if and when this order will ship but I have been charged.
If I do not hear by the end of this week, I will call my credit card company to dispute the charge
Simply did not want to spend a fortune buying a new AC LS study guide, but needed to find a book that I could use to study for the test at the end the four hour course. This is my first time taking ACLS.
Plan on returning as soon as I finish the class/test! So great that you can just rent the book for a much cheaper rate!
The books are at affordable price, my previous books came in great condition, even used books. The arrival estimate was exactly as predicted, it worked quick. Overall, great service.
Was super easy to find the books and order them and got them quickly. Also very good price
There are stickers from ecampus covering information. The stickers are not easily removed. The first page was also pretty dirty. I was able to clean that up.
I would never buy my books from here again! I've needed my lab book for almost two weeks now, so I ordered on here and paid the extra fee so that it would come within 4-5 business days. After a week now, it still says order processing. I have contacted support, who still has not gotten back to me. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would.
I have not yet received my item, I emailed asking for an update or status and have not received any response. I am still waiting for an update as my student really needs this item.
The textbook I rented said right in the product title that it comes with 36 months of SuperSite access. Here's the exact product title from Knetbooks' website: "Vistas 6e Student Edition (Loose-Leaf) + Supersite Plus + WebSAM." After renting it and inquiring about the code I needed to access the Supersite, I was then informed that rented textbooks don't come with the Supersite and I would need to purchase that separately from the publisher. This added another $165 plus tax to the cost. I could have gotten this from my college bookstore for less.
Update: After I posted my initial review, Knetbooks emailed me and said that I could have requested a full refund at any time during the first 25 days of my rental. Funny that they did not mention this option when I did a Chat with them about the missing web code and was trying to get an amicable resolution. They made it seem like I was stuck with the rental and tough luck for me for not reading the contract that says supplementary materials are not included on rentals, (even when the title of the product says they are included). I don't like companies that hide the details in the fine print, and only fake-try-to-make-amends after a negative review. If they want to make amends, they'll refund my money. I doubt that's going to happen.
The site is easy to navigate. The used book was in great condition. It was easy to track my order.
I had no issue with the process of buying the book and everything came smoothly
Super fast delivery needed the book asap for class and got it within the same week
Answer: Infinity, because you will never receive it. And if you do receive it, it comes damaged and then when you try to return your rental that try saying the original damage is your fault and charge you a ridiculous price for a small damage that had already come with it. Or sometimes several pages are missing.
Answer: Hi Tatum, We do allow some highlighting in our rentals but we ask that you dont highlight excessively. If you return the rental back to us with over one-third of the text highlighted, we may have to mark the book as damaged. Highlighting can be distracting for future renters and we may not be able to add an overly-highlighted book back into our inventory. Consider using page flags to mark an important sentence. Flags can help you easily get back to the page you need. Page flags are also small enough that they can be used multiple times on the same page. Plus, they are really easy to remove from the textbook before you send it back at the end of the semester. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
