Great searching for materials I was looking for and price was affordable.
I rented a college book from Knetbooks in September. In October I received an email that the textbook was due soon even though the semester wasn't done yet. I texted 2 numbers that were sent to me via text... nothing was answered. I called at least 2 phone numbers that were given... nothing. I emailed and received a default email back. They charged me for the entire book (160$) and just this week got an email that says, in essence, you're stuck with the book. I will NEVER use Knetbooks again!
I'm new to this site, not a lot of experience. I google searched and then followed the digital footsteps to this site. After comparing and contrasting reviews with prices, I decided to go with it.
Have tried to find out where my book is to no avail
I made the purchase based on info on your site and it was untrue. Worse yet you did not communicate about it. So I'm still waiting for the book to arrive
So easy to shop and my book arrived very quickly. I used the BookScouter app to find the best price for this book. I'm actually surprised at how good the condition is for this used book.
The website was easy to use and order, but only 1/3 of the books ordered have arrived with little to no communication about the fulfillment of the order from the company. Very disappointing.
Google search pulled up Knetbooks as a source for a French published book, much to my surprise. I had to create a log in and go thru the whole ordering process only to get an email one day later saying they do not have stock on the advertised book.
Terrible customer service- no response after multiple attempts to reach them- never received item ordered.
No email whatsoever on where my product is. Need a refund
The ordering process is easy. Thank you for the availability of this textbook.
I purchased a brand new book through Knetbooks. I tried contacting them as the book that was to be sent was changed per syllabus. However, there is no number or means of communication other than chat or email. I tried cancelling the order on time but was told on chat that I had to wait until book was received (it had not shipped yet). When the book was received, I tried contacting them again, this was back in August. No one was responding to my request about returning a NEW book. I was told I needed to follow proceedures for returning a used book, which they charge excessive fees for. I have tried numerous times for a resolution and contacted a "sister" store by phone. Representative assisted me but told me they could not do anything as the purchase was from Knetbooks, not Ecampus. He escaleted the emails and tried helping me find a rep over a Knetbooks, to no avial (I have all those emails as well). I was finally informed that I was going to be credited for the book but after several weeks of waiting, no credit, no calls, no emails...nothing. I disputed the charge with my credit card company in August only to be told that "ecampus" filed "receipt and policy" information that were NEVER given to me.
I have tried contacting ecampus all day today to resolve the issue by email and the representative responding has been telling me they cannot do anyting. I asked for the paperwork they submitted to my credit card compnay and they refuse to send them. I was informed that their legal team was handling the matter, but nothing else.
This company prays on students and does not offer resolutions. Be very careful from ordering from a company that does not offer a phone number or an escalation process other than emails. Knetbook and Ecampus are running a scamming business and need to be brought to light.
Easy to access to great college book savings in a jiffy (:
Easy to place the order and it arrived earlier than I anticipated!
Site easy to use and quick delivery I like how is an actual book and not in binder
Answer: Infinity, because you will never receive it. And if you do receive it, it comes damaged and then when you try to return your rental that try saying the original damage is your fault and charge you a ridiculous price for a small damage that had already come with it. Or sometimes several pages are missing.
Answer: Hi Tatum, We do allow some highlighting in our rentals but we ask that you dont highlight excessively. If you return the rental back to us with over one-third of the text highlighted, we may have to mark the book as damaged. Highlighting can be distracting for future renters and we may not be able to add an overly-highlighted book back into our inventory. Consider using page flags to mark an important sentence. Flags can help you easily get back to the page you need. Page flags are also small enough that they can be used multiple times on the same page. Plus, they are really easy to remove from the textbook before you send it back at the end of the semester. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
