Minimal customer service- not worth the Minimal savings. Hack their hack if you want but book directly with airline to protect yourself. Stuck in Seville on a Ryanair delay - thats another "only if you have to service" and everyone tossing their hands in air, not even a sorry. Just plan on a crappy experience with both of these CHEAP companies. Clowns!
If i could give this company 0 stars i would. They canceled my trip, the agents advised me to not cancel since i still had my tickets coming back home, i was told to choose how i wanted my money refunded only thru the website and the only option was credit. They would not take my answer verbally. My trip was 600, they only wanna refund me 240 back in credit. I am so upset because i have been fighting it for the past 6months. They dont even have a phone number anymore. On top of that i paid for expedited refund only to find out 6 months later that it is still processing while an agent said the refund process was done. So messed up! Please do yourself a favor and book through a different website
KIWI is an internet based travel agent incorporated in the Czech Republic but, if you have a problem, you will find yourself talking to some disinterested person in Asia and you will just go round in circles. The company's underlying Terms and Conditions of Business are extremely complicated and appear drafted to put up barriers to refunds. I spent many months trying to get money back and lost £578. There are many other travel agent to use. Be smart and book with another travel agent. If you book with Kiwi after reading this and all the other negative reviews you should not be disappointed if you find you have lost money - you have been warned.
I created an airline booking through Kiwi.com on 11/27/2023, but the booking dates were incorrect.
Within two minutes of creating the booking, I called Kiwi.com's Customer Service line at 1 *******159. I spoke with an agent on a recorded line who told me that I could cancel the booking through the Manage My Booking link on the Kiwi.com website as long as the booking was still processing.
Already on the website, I kept clicking the cancellation link because the status of my booking was still processing. However, every time I clicked the link to cancel, an error page loaded, which prevented me from canceling.
I had the agent on the phone while I was trying to cancel my booking, and asked for her help. She said she could do nothing on her end, but reiterated that I should be able to cancel the reservation provided it was still processing.
This was false. The website prevented me from canceling, and Kiwi charged me a bizarrely high price for a non-refundable ticket. However, the Kiwi.com agent said on the recorded line that I was allowed to cancel provided that the booking was still processing, which it was.
Kiwi.com is a rip off and a scam, and they nickel and dime every aspect of travel. Go with Kayak, Priceline, Expedia, or Amex Travel, or the airlines directly. Kiwi.com charges for a carry on! Next it will be in flight toilet paper.
Only good thing about Kiwi are the deals you can find and pay upfront. Aside from that, I was left without an update to an itinerary correction, and I wasn't advised I was involuntarily bumped from an overbooked flight, despite the Kiwi agent "confirming" to the airline they had advised me of the change. Issues on both of the flights booked with Kiwi. One cost me an additional $550 and a missed flight, the other cost me a 4.5hr delay and struggle to coordinate new pickup at destination at 1am. Do not recommend and will not be using Kiwi again. UPDATE 3 Months later, we are into December, and Shruti, the agent who was arranging partial credits for issue 1 and further credits for issue 2, has disappeared, no further response, every time I reach out to Kiwi chat, I get the same response, that my request has been passed to the team & someone will get back to me, then weeks continue to pass.
Changed flights and connections arbitrarily, with doubling of the price, insufficient information for check in, assistance blocked or embarrassing. Not recommended for serious boarding problems.
I would not recommend Kiwi.com after a disappointing experience. I faced a significant change in my itinerary, with a date alteration and a 22-hour layover, and unfortunately, the team's response lacked consideration and adequate solutions. This lack of commitment to customer satisfaction makes my experience discouraging and not worthy of recommendation.
They rescheduled two out of four flights during my Christmas vacation with my family. I requested for refund and they refused.

Booked a flight online, printed the itinerary and saw there was a self transfer to another airport 61km away with only 3.5 hours layover so tried to change the flight, that didn't work so cancelled it. Nowhere did it say you will not get your money back if you cancel nor did it say no refunds upon purchase. Keep in mind the cancellation was in under an hour from purchase and the booking was almost 2 months in advance. After cancelling got a message saying I got a $15 kiwi credits refund and that's all no money back… I called and they refused to refund the flight and also refused to uncancel the flight. This company should not be allowed to operate and some members should be in prison for fraud.
I missed my flight because of kiwi.com. I booked a round trip from Dallas to Toronto in the eve of thanksgiving. Kiwi didn't inform me the TSA will be closed 2 hours and half before my flight because of holidays.
Once I reached DFW I went to frontier front desk they checked my bag in and when I reached the check point the TSA was closed 2 hours and half before my flight.
I went back to the frontier desk they said kiwi was supposed to sent an email about TSA hours during holidays!
I contacted kiwi many times and they said we can not help you and we will not refund you
I missed my flight my money and all arrangements for my trip

Never book your flight with kiwi website
I booked and paid for 2 connected flights and my carry-on luggage, on KIWI.COM Easy Jet, charged me again AT THE TIME OF BOARDING mistreating me in front of everyone AND without accepting even look at the invoice I had in my hands. "You pay OR YOU STAY - FREE THE COUNTER NOW," HE SAID.

Very terrifying experience. They changed my flight and the options were literally double the price and double the time. If I choose the refund they will not fully refund me and I have to wait for 3 months for my money. What is this?
Do not use their service... Pay a little more somewhere else and get a guaranteed flight and service.

This company stole 367.00 from my bank account basically. I purchased a ticket through kiwi.com and it got canceled within 48 hours. Now, I got to dispute the transaction because Kiwi.com will not give me a full refund. Only a 10.00 credit. What kind of crap is that? I give up... everywhere I turn too i just get screwed over constantly. Now I got to try and get a hold of my bank in different time zones to try and solve the issue while being stranded!
Terrible experience! I booked a flight on the Kiwi website from 23rd Dec to 28th Dec. Then I got offered a discount for using the app. When I got the app it asked if I wanted to continue with the same booking so I did. Only after checking out I noticed it was not 23rd Dec but 23 January. I needed the flight reschedule but they wouldn't help with that either, I was ready to pay extra but they refused to help. I was going to upgrade my ticket but now it was cancelled. There's no winning with them. And it wasn't even my fault it was a bug with the app. Customer service said repeatedly that there's nothing to be done. They have not even acknowledged that it was a mistake with the app. I immediately canceled so I can get a refund but my booking got confirmed in seconds. I was told by the customer support that the airline has the money already. I contacted the airline and they said it takes longer for the payment to reach them. This website is a scam. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Use the website to find the flights and buy directly from the airline.
KIWI.COM is a fraudulent and deceptive company that uses illogical, unacceptable and fraudulent methods and programs to steal from anyone who commits a mistake while booking a ticket with it. It will not have a future or reputation in the travel market. Please be careful and do not deal with it.
Never again I'm gonna book with Kiwi, worst customer support ever. My flight was delayed more than 10 hours, and kiwi refused to change my trip, cancel it, ask for a refund or any other support. I also couldn't do that myself because kiwi is the one who owns the ticket and not me! I had to buy another ticket and I lost 260€. Thank you kiwi. (Booking Number *******)

Kiwi is an official scaming agent. I bought a flight through kiwi and I was sent an official ticket. 2 days later my flight was cancelled and i was given an option to pay additional 132 euros to rebook which I did. Again, 2 days later thesame flight was canceled and the alternatives were 1320 euros which I refused and requested a refund. I was told that the best use the kiwi credit as I will get my money back instantly and can rebook another flight which I did. Unknowingly, this option is 100 euros which is 10 percent of what I paid. I tried to rebook another flight for a similar amount (1030 euros) but kiwi was asking an additional 900 euros. Worst still, the agents where very rude (similar to showing me thier middle finger). I just lost my money, kiwi does not even consider how people feel, how can a service company be this inhuman?

Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
