My daughter had her flights cancelled due to Covid outbreak in 2020. Her flights were worth over 1200 euros. She got less than 700 euros back. We understood that it is difficult in these situations. But what made me so angry and not recommend this agency is the unhelpful, inexperienced and disrespectful customer service! Now that she is trying to rebook the flights from last year by using her credit, and paying the remaining 600 euros from her debit card, it is refusing her the booking and requesting the whole 1300 euros from her bank account and not using the credit she with Kiwi.com! She has been calling for help, she has tried everything they asked for, but still it is doing the same! When she asked if she can get someone actually to call her back to help her online with the booking and payment, the customer service screamed at her "NO! YOU HAVE TO DO IT YOURSELF!" A young adult who is a student and finding it so difficult to buy new tickets with full price... She has credit! Why is Kiwi.com trying to force her to pay the whole thing?
Fake company, i booked for Dubai to Bahrain and i have the ticket showing my destination is in Bahrain but i visited airport they said in the system my destination is in Islamabad i spoke with kiwi customers care 2hrs they said apologies only they simply cancelled the ticket and book for another day, but how important i need to visit my destination, also if i can't travel i need to go back again book hotel stay one more days/night also they said they Will not refund it...
Fake and cheating business
Trip was cancellaed a year ago, both out and inbound. I am still contacting them every month and they excuse themselves saying that the airlines have not refunded it yet. I paid Kiwi, Kiwi pays me, simple as that. Any business they have with the airlines it's their own problem and their own agreements. The result: I still haven't seen the refund after a year.

My flight itinerary has been changes 4 times and I had to pay for the changes. It's better to go directly through a major carrier. They also charge $100 to check a luggage. Total rip off!
Since one tear now I am trying to get a refund for four tickets booked with them. Akwats get the same standard answer that they are waiting a response from the airliner. Really I regret I have booked with them. Customer service very poor
Cancelled my flights 9 times over my 3 month stay in Russia. Last one was when i was on my way back home to Canada and they stranded me in Russia. They booked me(I already paid them)on a flight to Europe and landing in the USA when they clearly already knew that i wasn't allowed. I had to book another flight that took off 12 hours later. They were rude to Lufthansa personnel on the phone and hung up on them and i had to call them back. They said it was my problem. Waiting for a refund from kiwi...
Beware. This company will steal from you. There are no live agents that can help with anything ever. In my case I purchased a flight through them on Spirit Airlines. When you go through these thieves at Kiwi they use their own credit card to pay for the flight and charge you a fee plus the cost of the flight. Due to natural disaster at my chosen destination my flight had to be canceled and spirit didn't have any flights within a reasonable period after so they issued the refund. I got a confirmation email from them but they told me the money was returned to a Mastercard that belongs to Kiwi. I have tried many times to communicate with them. When they do answer, probably a robot on chat, they ask for the information then claim they can't see it or in the last instance I spelled every required information in separate texts so they could all be visible and got no response. It has been over two months. They know they got a refund from Spirit but still I have no refund or even indication I will ever get a refund. Better to buy directly with the airline. At least if there is a problem there isn't a middle man that is not reachable because they don't even have a customer service number. I guess my only resort is to leave this review on every site that reviews them. KIWI STEALS FROM CUSTOMERS. IF I HAD THEIR MONEY FOR TWO MONTHS THEY WOULD HAVE CALLED ME A THEIF. THEY ARE THEIVES. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
TRICKY
Unfortunately, I was deceived in dealing with them. Two tickets was booked in October 2020, the cost of $ 1500. Before the flight, they informed me that the flight conditions were canceled. You have two ways to import a request from the airline and this takes a long time or we transfer you to your account with us and you can use it later and after 3 months I discovered that the transfer to my account is 117 $! By asking them the response, was this our system and you chose to transfer to your account? We know that the amount paid is large, but this is our system, and the response came after more than 4 months.
My flights were cancelled because of the pandemic, Flybe ceased operations and there was an international travel ban. Still waiting for a refund. I booked January 20,2020 and I was scheduled to travel in April 2020. I don't know why they're holding my money hostage. Makes no sense! All my friends that booked directly with the airlines were reimbursed a year ago! I don't understand why there is a delay in processing this. I worked in tourism and I understand it's a tough time but a lot of us won't be able to travel for a very long time and could use the money. Especially those of us that lost their jobs due to the pandemic :(
Don't book with kiwi.com, it is a fraudulent company with no integrity. They will advertise flights they can't provide, they will send you invalid tickets, they will take your money & give you 10% of the initial amount or give you 10 Euros. Worst company ever.
Booked flights through Kiwi on 13th February to fly from Chiang Mai to Krabi on 1st March.
26th February, Kiwi tell me my flight schedules have changed and I have to pay more money for the new flight or cancel my trip and get a refund of the flights.
This left me with the current situation:
1. Pay more money for a flight I did not change
2. Cancel the flight and lose ******* baht (as of this date $774.90) on the accommodation I booked.
There is no consideration as to whether someone can even pay this extra charge out of nowhere.
Naturally I paid the extra to keep my holiday.
When I asked customer service for a refund as I didn't change the date and it's totally out of my control, they said no because they did not change the flight.
But I'm not allowed to speak to the airline because Kiwi managed the booking.
When I asked the customer service employee on the phone if Kiwi made money off the extra transaction I had to pay or lose my trip, he confirmed yes they take a cut.
Don't use Kiwi.
They are happy to accept payment to manage bookings, but they're not actually going to take responsibility if anything goes wrong and you also cannot approach the airline once you make the booking through their platform.
Their customer service told me they cannot do anything. And they just hide behind their T&Cs.
I feel so let down and cheated.
Mi hanno fatto prenotare un volo da Dubai alle Maldive con scalo in India. Una settimana dopo arrivo all aereoporto e mi dicono che non possono salire sull aereo perche' dovuto a COVID in India possono entrare solo indiani (anche per connection flight). Ma perche' vendete biglietti che non potreste vendere?! Ho scritto nel form rimborsi e nessuno risponde.
Don't bother booking with kiwi
Booked a flight to Greece through Kiwi for our honeymoon. Now Americans are restricted from traveling to Greece due to covid. I contacted kiwi and was told I could cancel and would receive a $10 "refund" Wow, that's not a refund, that's a slap in the face.
Kiwi should not tell us "Just a friendly reminder any changes can be made up to 48 hours prior to departure of your first flight." if there is no refund or changes allowed, like what does that even mean? You can cancel, we just wont give you your money back or let you rebook a different flight to somewhere you can actually travel to? Insane. Unfortunately read your many complaints online from thousands of people upset that your company is taking advantage of the current pandemic. It seems that your customers need to file complaints with the travel bureau to get anything done.
I would give this zero stars if possible. No refund received 9 months on after my flights were cancelled in April 2020 due to the pandemic. I am unable to contact Kiwi by phone and they are claiming the airline has not yet refunded them, which is untrue. Shocking customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Kiwi will pocket your money. It's that simple. If your flight is canceled by the airline, say goodbye to your money. Kiwi lies: they have zero intention of refunding you and will just string you along with empty apologies and false promises.

You cheat the money? You offer invalid tickets and I can't travel but you have taken my money! You left an auto message about 3 months to refund the money but now almost 5 months still not receive the money!
Kiwi is a big scam ever. After they suspended my flight last year in March, 2020 due to COVID-19 KIWI secretly went behind me and applied for a refund of which i knew nothing about. Just last month i was told by officials of Portugal Air that my travel agent (KIWI) have requested for a refund and they paid it into their account in December, 2020 so they cant issue a refund for me or flight coupon. Any effort to reach their help line have failed.

They have a guarantee that they will refund money if the flight is cancelled. They do not honour this.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
Answer: There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
