Flight got cancelled in March 2020. Applied for a refund, didn't hear anything back so I reached out again in August 2020. Customer service rep said they had actually never processed my request and that it would then be processed within 3 months. November 2020, they only send an email saying the refund will be delayed. February 2021, send another email saying refund will be delayed. I contact Virgin Atlantic and they said the refund was already sent, so Kiwi is withholding a refund that was given to them and that I have a right to. Outright criminal.
KIWI.COM - MY WORST EXPERIENCE!
I booked on kiwi.com one-way flight by mistake, then tried to change it to the round-trip flight right away, but there was no option to do that, kiwi.com doesn't have contact phone number or instant chat, I canceled one-way trip and booked the same plain just round-way.
But I was charged twice by kiwi.com for the same plain: first for the one-way and second - for the round-trip. When I complained to kiwi.com, they refused to refund one-way charge and replied that flights are not related.
PLEAS! PLEASE! DON'T USE KIWI.COM, SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
I searched a business class ticket and was redirected to kiwi where once I purchased. I canceled no longer than 2 minutes after purchase and before flight booking but it would not let me cancel. I received an email stating my flight was booked shortly after and the information stated that my flight was an ECONOMY one-way no luggage flight. I called customer service and they refused to assist me. THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY AND THEY TOOK $2000 FROM ME. My bank was not able to assist because they told my back that I purchased a flight that is not able to be canceled. I never purchased an economy flight and I canceled before the flight was even booked!
I requested a refund because of the COVID-19, I couldn't get on board. It was an international trip and I had to choose 2 stops. It's been a year. They asked me to contact one of the airlines to ask for refund, which was the shortest trip. How about the other two? Can you just refund those to me instead of holding them? I tried to call the consumer service. Now they even don't let me get through the phone. TRASH!
If you wanna ruin your vacation, your energy, and time then book it with this firm. I'm a traveler and they are THE WORST company I ever booked my flights with. I booked an over $400 flight 2 weeks ago, got my confirmation, planned everything accordingly, and 2 days prior to my flight they said they overbooked my flight and offered me a 19 HOURS flight during covid. Their online service is not working. I get a reply every other hour and their phone agents can barely speak English, they don't give accurate information, they do not help, they are also rude someone just hangs up on me.
Horrible experience, ruined my current vacation, upcoming vacation and I still don't know how to complete my travel.
If a flight is been cancelled or any issue they don't refund and they just take your money. Amazing that a company like that is allowed to exist, a reflext of how hummanity is down.
Basically when one of the connecting flights is cancelled they just tell you they will ask for as much as possible refund, which means "nothing" because it is always zero. DO NEVER BOOK WITH THAT APPLICATION

I booked flight Dubai Bahrain. At the time of collecting boarding pass I was told your bookings is Dubai Bahrain Karachi. I was denied boarding pass. Reference no ******* on 25 March 2021.
Again I shall be refused for boarding pass for reference no ******* on 03 April.
When contacted kiwi, they call it hidden segments which you shall come to know when you approach for boarding pass.
The are scam, it's been 3 months they are lying to me about my refund but not paying me back. Don't book with them or you ll lose your money.
I was desperate to travel from Australia to Philippines to see my sick grandma. I choose kiwi.com because it was the only flight available at an earliest convenience. The flight cost me $5400. I got to the airport and the airline staff told me that I could not fly because I am not allowed to transit in Taiwan. I find this absolutely ridiculous how a company can sold me a ticket when it is not valid for flying. It's been 7 months now I am still waiting for my refunds. I tried to contact the company and the robot on the phone response was "we can not answer your call because your not our customer". This has made me outraged! I called again and the same thing happens. There is just not a possible way to contact this company. They are an absolute scam. How can a company run business like this. This is the worst business in 31st century and should be closed down. After searching the company information, I found out it's a Czech republic company and they have a very poor international standard. We should not support terrorist.
Its been almost a year since they cancelled my flight and I still wait for my refund, they already got the refund from the airline but not issued back to my credit card, a bunch of thieves...
I bought tickets through Kiwi.com last year and have been waiting 11 months for a refund. Their idea of good customer service seems to be to reply quickly but palm off the customer with empty promises and generic statements about the holdup being the fault of Covid-19 and/or the airline. I contacted the airline directly and they confirmed that they had passed on my full refund to Kiwi.com over three months ago. Kiwi.com still say they are waiting for the carrier. They bald-face lie to customers, cause tons of unnecessary stress and illegally hold onto customers' money.
Do not use this company unless you enjoy being missold tickets, lied to and losing large sums of money.
No customer service to listen to you. No serious process to refund your canceled flights. They will only steal your money!
I have booked a flight to the Philippines that got canceled because of the pandemic. I just hung up with the airline company which assures me that they have reimbursed Kiwi.com months ago! WHERE IS MY MONEY?
Bought a ticket. Waited 8 hrs. No confirmation. Had to buy another ticket from different site 2 hour before departure. Could not reach kiwi.com for clarification nor refund
Purchased a ticket from Tel Aviv to Toronto with layover in London using Kiwi. Because of COVID all flight from London were cancelled and I knew it 3 days before my departure, but somehow KIWI was assuring me that flight is still on. I decided to not trust them and booked another flight with Lufthanza which I successfully took and landed in Toronto on schedule. Still waiting for refund for the second part of my trip from London to Toronto. Imagine trusting this people with your important flights, if I have done so I would be stuck in London for god know how long. Never book any flights using KIWI.COM.
I have been using Kiwi for years but will probably NEVER purchase a flight through them again.
I have been waiting OVER A YEAR for tickets to be refunded due to flight cancellations in March 2020. I have contacted support to ask for a refund several times and received NOTHING. As I can see we are hundreds of customers facing the same issue.
The worst part? I contacted the airlines my flights were through directly and they emailed me confirmation that the tickets had been refunded to Kiwi in October 2020! They are holding money, illegally, and I will be taking legal action if Kiwi does not refund the tickets soon.
I made an error by booking a flight using their calendar but accidentally chose the wrong month. (Note: the month that populates in the calendar is not the current month.) Since I bought the least expensive ticket, Kiwi does not provide good customer service unless you buy a more expensive ticket. You can't cancel with them without a huge penalty. In my case, my ticket was $150, and they only offered me an $11 refund or discount on a different ticket even though I tried to cancel the same day that I made the purchase. And you are unable to cancel or change tickets with the airline if you bought your ticket from an outside vendor like Kiwi. I won't ever buy through Kiwi again!

I don't know how Kiwi has so many five star reviews, it must be bots because this company is giving me nothing but headaches. In 2020 they canceled my flights due to the pandemic (obviously). Since then I have called weekly for a status on my refund. Nothing. A year later and I have yet to get my money back on flights they have canceled... DO NOT travel with kiwi! DO NOT use their services... no matter how cheap the flight is, it just isn't worth the headache.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
Answer: There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
