I'm a cabin crew with Emirates airlines. Flew with so many other airlines all over the world, but had never been charged for a registration. The itinerary stayed that I can't do it online and need to proceed to the desk, but no information about the actual charges, neither in my email nor at the web site. The lady at the kiosk (where I was sent from online counter) told me that if I would do it on my own, I won't be charged. But again, the itinerary specified that this option isn't available. I call it catch 22. Shame guys. 20 bucks is a lot. Not happy.
Your travel provider shouldn't have issued me a ticket with connection to Christchurch, NZ. When my return from Vienna to Australia, instead you should have directly flown to Australia from Singapore. (one of my connection) why because European travellers are not allowed to transit in New Zealand through to Australia, my husband wasn't allow to board the plane. Putting him in a position to buy a very expensive new fly to Australia.
KIWI are selling trips that consumer never will uses, KIWI total lack of transparency, or customer services accountability makes you guys the worst travel experience ever. No refund, NO support, leaving my husband in a estrange country with not option at all. When I call kiwi customer services explaining the issue, they simply don't care, and didn't give any support, also they reject to give us a partial refund. Well, I can tell you from now on, I will be the worst advocator of kiwi company, meeting with more than 4.675 furious kiwi travel consumer, letting people know around the world your lack of transparency and customer services accountability. Using all social media platform ever exist.
How illegal can be offering these flights when right now you are not flying at all, or when there are no transits allowed. Offering seemingly phantom tickets on phantom flights despite Government restrictions on travel.
KIWI practices are to keep taking money from consumers by selling ticket that will never fly, or are no transits allowed. Ticket on flight that people will never have a chance to board.
I purchased a ticket from kiwi.com at the end of April 2020 for $510. On 16th May 2020 my trip was cancelled by airlines due to Covid. Yes, it is better to deal with airlines directly, however, when you are deserately trying to find a flight home and then there it comes from Kiwi.com with a combination of several airlines and affordable price, you try it, you hope... Such a dirty and disgusting way of doing business, kiwi.
When my flights were cancelled, I requested an assisted refund and until now I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY REFUND that was promised.
After my several requests for an update, I received a couple of messages asking to kindly wait. For how many more months or years such a delay shoud be covered by my kindness, remains a mistery...
I'll try to undertake some measures of course, and then let's see what will be the total quantity of months that it took for Kiwi to refund it's kind customer, if it will be refunded at all... On the other side, why shouldn't Kiwi be kind and not pay an interest to me, I am questioning?
Waiting now since 10 month to get my refund for canceled flights. Even after they got the refund its 3 month since then. My money is still not back and I'm ignored.
I booked travel from the US to Europe with Kiwi.com. The journey was slated for summer of 2020 and composed of two flights with a transfer between difference airlines. Travel began to shut down in spring of 2020 and refund requests followed soon thereafter. This is a challenging moment for all and is quite understandable that there would be delays in processing such a large number of transactions. But it has been over a year and I still have not received my full refund, worse still, they only refunded the value of one of the tickets I bought through them. To add insult to injury, they said that I had been completely refunded and that my issue has been resolved. They have ignored my repeated, civil attempts to continue the conversation with me; never mind evening acknowledging any error or wrongdoing. Do not do any business with them in any capacity. I cannot stress enough how shady, obtuse and greedy they are.
I booked in mid-June and since then, flights have been cancelled TWICE. The first time, June 24, Ryanair cancled the first leg and the so-called alternatives Kiwi offered all cost a lot more on top of what I had already paid. So I asked for a refund and booked a new itinerary at a much higher price. Nine days later, the first leg of this itinerary was also cancelled (Wizzair). The Wizzair flight was moved to THREE DAYS later, which doesn't work for my partner and me because we are supposed to sail out of Rhodes by then. Kiwi is USELESS. They offer you pittance ($65 out of $357 as their "instant refund" and no more), and there's no way of knowing what their deal is with the airlines and whether any refunds will be provided, given that the airline is at fault. NEVER again will I use this site.
I asked for a refund due to the first lockdown in India in April 2020. Kiwi did nothing about this refund and I only got confirmation that they had even requested the refund from Cathay Pacific on 13/04/2021. I received this confirmation from Cathay- kiwi has refused to give me any evidence of their claims of them requesting this refund for the prior 11 months.
Instead, at one point they claimed they are going to send me vouchers instead of a refund, vouchers whose expiry date was a week before they bothered to inform me. I asked why 1. I didn't receive these vouchers 2. If I were to receive them, how was I to supposed to use them when the date of expiry was a week prior to them informing me and 3. Why were refunds not granted when the airlines confirmed I was entitled to one. Their response was that refunds were the airlines policy... so I guess I got a bot reply. I have found out today from Cathay Pacific they had granted a refund to Kiwi in April 2021- of course I've not seen this refund nor has Kiwi contacted me telling me about this refund. I've waited over a year for this refund... I guess I will keep on waiting. In the meantime I encourage anyone else facing similar issues to make official complaints about this company's practices through government channels.
The promoted rates are half of the final cost. If you need to change you will have to pay for seats and baggage a second time. If you need to change flights might not be available at all before your cut off time. You are better off and will save more money buying tickets directly from the airline. Kiwi. Com is a joke and you will likely lose your money or pay way more in the long run. DO NOT USE KIWI.COM.
We booked a flight which was cancelled. We requested the refund and kiwii just stopped answering us
After a year, now we are going to go against them and open a case in Small Claim Courts in Delaware.

I booked a flight from kiwi, due to airlines it was cancelled and refund was made by airlines on same day but kiwi did not refund the amount even after 3 months. Even after providing proof from airlines.
They are fraudsters. Never ever book anything from kiwi.com
If there is negative ratings then I would have given that.
kiwi.com informed me that one of the flights in the itinerary is canceled and I need to rebook that part of my trip. I checked the airline website, the flight was NOT canceled.
This is a very obvious FRAUDULENT.
kiwi.com needs to be banned. I wonder if there is any forum where I can file a case against them that would ban this company.
First time, i couldn't check in 24 hrs ahead of departure online and had to pay at counter a fee for not checking in. Second time, I added more luggage online to check in two days after original flight purchased. Kiwi charged my card yet airline had no record of this. I ended up paying again directly to airline at check-in. Both items here submitted to kiwi to be reimbursed. The first incident over a month ago with no refund.
I had to book a one way flight for my son from SFO to Barcelona and ended up doing it with Kiwi. Usually I book direct, but it was a big price difference so I went ahead. When we arrived at the airline counter (Lufthansa) we found out that the final destination of the airline ticket wasn't Barcelona, but Bruessels. We called Kiwi and they said yes, just ditch your connecting flight to Barcelona in Frankfurt and instead connect to another, separately, booked flight to Barcelona. 2 major problems: Belgium still required a negative Covid test for vaccinated people entering the country, but Spain did not. Difficult to prepare for this situation if your destination country is different than what you booked. Luckily my son had taken a Covid test beforehand, "just in case", otherwise he would not have been able to board the plane and lost all money. Second, my son had to fill out a Covid entry form for Belgium (no boarding without it), although he never ended up going there.
Do not use this vendor - absolutely reckless in pandemic times, not reliable. Will never use again.
I have been waiting on a refund from Kiwi for 11 months now. Alitalia and EasyJet have refunded Kiwi however Kiwi have, until about 6 weeks ago, been telling me that the refund process takes some time. Now, in the past 6 weeks, they are refusing to respond to my messages. They have now been in funds for several months and are holding those funds. I suspect they are doing this with a number of clients to keep themselves solvent. It is a blatant breach of bankruptcy laws to continue to trade whilst insolvent. Appalling... I plead with everyone that, until such time as the banks propping up this company are left with no option but to call in Kiwi's enormous debt - DO NOT BOOK WITH KIWI!
This company has been holding my refund since 2/20/21 when they were reimbursed by the airlines directly. It's impossible to reach the customer service (purposefully). Not sure how this company is still allowed to operate legally when they outright STEAL people's money. Under no circumstance should you EVER book anything with them, despite how cheap it may be. I promise you they'll end up screwing you in the end and it'll just cost you more. Look at all these terrible reviews, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Kiwi.com IS A FRAUD. If they tell you to wait 3 months before disputing the charge DONT DO THAT. PLEASE DISPUTE THE CHARGE. KIWI.COM HAS NO MORALS OR ETHICAL STANDARDS. DONT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THE SITE- that money you have been holding on to is someone's hard work, we know that you got a refund back from the flights so why aren't you returning my money? $1300 is a lot of money. How do you go to sleep at night? This is unethical. I waited a year for you guys to give me my money back. I was nice enough to listen to you and waited 3 months before disputing the charges. In return, this is how you repay me by not paying me back in full amount. What is your hold up now? $1300 that you took from me that you didn't work for it. Due to pandemic people are still struggling instead of being understanding and returning people's money back. You're stealing the money. Please return the money back.
A year ago I bought a ticket from Kiwi.com for my daughter to fly from Manila to Singapore to Christchurch and to Melbourne. Boarding was denied in Manila because international transit was not allowed in Christchurch. Qantas airways graciously refunded the full cost of the Christchurch Melbourne sector to Kiwi.com. Kiwi.com have failed to refund me. Singapore airlines refused a refund for the Manila Singapore Christchurch sectors.
Terrible attention online, non responsive page and no direct way to contact anyone in the platform, and once the date of my flight that they cancelled had passed they stopped responding, owing more than 300 EUR for more than 6 months, when the contract said clearly, 3 months.
Have called support multiple times WITH documentation that my flight was refunded from the carrier. It has been over 12 months since I initially booked my flight. Will not even accept my calls for a dispute. I worked in customer service and understood the notion that things can take time, especially with the plethora of refunds needed. I am extremely saddened by the lack of social grace, and the sliminess Kiwi.com has exemplified. Never again.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
