My flight was canceled due to COVID 19 back in March of 2020. It is now June of 2021 and they have yet to release any sort of refund. They do not provide you with any updates, and when you try to reach out to them they simply say they are unable to update because of the COVID crisis. This company is an absolute scam.
I'v seen too many people complaining about not getting refund, I was refused a refund within an hour of booking and ended up paying the whole amount for my ticket, was on the call with the customer service and they are like robot read from the script " we can not issue a refund".
I booked a flight to las Vegas for January of 2021 for myself and my wife. This was booked weeks in advance. I paid 189.00 for round trip tickets. I had to call KIWI several times to get any information on the reservation. I was told over and over day after day all the way up until the day of departure that we will have information or confirmation soon. Their customer service is horrible, they LIE over and over. 6 hours before my plane was to take off I still had no confirmation of the flight. I was on the phone LIVID and still I was told they would get back to me. 4 Hours prior i called KIWI back and was promptly told the flight was canceled! Are you kidding me? 4 hours prior, i had hotel rooms paid for events to get to. I politely asked them to get me another flight, they told me they couldn't but i could buy another ticket from another airline. I asked for a refund I was told THEY COULDNT give me one. So I did get a flight at an extraordinary expense you know same day notice. I paid almost a $1000 a ticket. After my trip i continue to try and get KIWI to refund me. They had blocked my number and then blocked the reservation number used to get to talk with a representative. I then asked my credit card company to help. They didnt,. I had to PAY THEM FOR NOTHING. KIWI>COM IS A FRAUD THEY WILL LIE< STEAL YOUR MONEY AND BLOCK YOU IF YOU HAVE A REFUND REQUEST! They are criminals! Period. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SCAM. They will STEAL YOUR MONEY AND OFFER ZERO HELP. 5 days before departure, they said the flight was canceled. But I bought a ticket for the same flight from the carrier and it is valid! They just don't buy tickets from carriers, steal your money, and then cheat that flights are canceled!
... seriusly, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM... You think it is cheap, but you will end up loosing money from canceld flights that will NEVER be refunded to you...
I bought ticket from Dallas to JEddah. A week before Kiwi.com sent me message with effected ticket and asked $500+ more money. Customer service is garbage. They dont assist and answer. It is a trash company, never trust them and buy a ticket from.
They don't give refund for cancelling your flight and don't help to change your ticket dates.Not fair policy and very unhappy booking with them
I've never been lied to so many times in a phone call requesting to speak with somebody about what is going on. They pocketed our money that the airlines refunded us and pretended like they were working on getting us our refund back. Even a voucher for a future flight would have been nice.
Everything is fake, I booked my flight through KIWI, the flight was canceled by a carrier, even kiwi not responding to calls and emails, I have been waiting for 4 months for my refund money, as per Qatar airlines policy they wouldn't take much time to refund, I lost 1500 $, Please don't go for Kiwi
I would give Kiwi zero stars if I could. Kiwi is a criminal organization. The failure of Biden and Congress to shut Kiwi is a sign of our government's take-over by billionaires.
I have been waiting for a refund since 30th June 2020 even though they airlingus have paid them last November.

On 27/5/2021 I had a flight from Moscow to Athens with the Aegean Airlines(about which i wont refer to this post, however they too have very bad customer service) which was booked long ago(around start of May).
However the flight was cancelled(as I learnt later, it was cancelled around 14 of May), I received no report about it in my mail neither from kiwi or Aegean and I only happened to realize it the previous day of the flight, when i tried to check in(the flight didnt exist anymore)
Anyway, I managed to fly to Athens with other company, for which i bought new tickets(directly from their internet site) as both kiwi and Aegean had fallen in my trust.
Some days later, i contacted Aegean, about giving me a credit voucher, but they told me that kiwi had asked for a refund of the tickets' money and they couldnt procceed with my credit voucher.
I contacted kiwi(which again had never sent me any mail at all about the refund of tickets), and as you can imagine kiwi NEVER replied to me.
So to summarize: There was a cancel of a flight (~10-15 days before the flight), about which kiwi NEVER informed me, and for which kiwi asked refund of tickets from the air company, making it impossible for me either to get credit voucher or this refund(the refund goes directly to kiwi, which embezzles it)
P. S I put one star cause there was not an option for 0 starts.
Stay away from this company - no matter if there are low prices at some tickets! It is a trap!
Do not buy anything from kiwi.com, they will ruin you. They have the worse policies for change of flights or refunds.
If there was an option to rate KIWI with a zero i would. Absolutely terrible. We purchased tickets for our trip and the connection flight home was cancelled. No one notified us until i called the carrier myself to confirm all flight information. In fact, I was the one to inform KIWI of the cancellation. They were unable to provide me any good or at least decent alternatives. I had to cancel my entire trip because i could no longer trust i would find a ticket at the airport during my travels. They cannot guarantee me a full refund and i need to wait 3 months just for them to provide me any type of response for my refund. Horrible and very disappointed - i will never use them again.

I ordered a flight itinerary through them because of their claims that they would make my trip as smooth as possible. When West Jet suddenly changed my departing flight to a day earlier and added a 14 hr layover, I tried to contact them and see what they could do. Their answer was. We can do nothing, if you want a different flight cancel this booking and book another one... the kicker you will have to wait 3 to 5 mths and you will have to pay cancelation fee... West Jet is charging ZERO cancelation fee... so Kiwi is stealing this money. This company is 100% fraudulent and will steal money and blame the flight carriers for it. I asked to speak with a supervisor in regards to this 3 days ago... was told I would get call back from 1 in 2 hrs... 3 days later no call and when I call to talk with supervisor I am told their is not 1 there or not available. This company is a complete SCAM... DO NOT USE THEM EVER!
Never seen a flight provider like this. Absolutely disgusting. Still waiting for a refund for a booking which was cancelled due to Covid one year ago. 250 dollars down the drain. I blame myself for not researching better…
I am writing this review to warn other customers not to be cheated by the company. Unfortunately I had bought tickets from kiwi last year and the flight was cancelled because of Covid. I claimed a refund but although it has been over a year they did not send my refund. They still lie that they had refunded but there is no money, my bank checked and said that they did not send any refund. They do not supply any e mail or phone number to contact there is no customers service. They are not ashamed of lying to say that they refunded me
Kiwi gave me back refund for 2 tickets out of 4, the airline said they gave the refund, but we never got it. Now kiwi don't answer my messages. It's outrageous.
My experience with kiwi.com was horrible. I contracted them in February of 2020 for several flights that were ultimately cancelled because of the pandemic. The customer service and communication were awful. Despite the fact that all airlines that I booked through kiwi.com had clear policies to provide full reimbursements when flights were cancelled as a result of the pandemic, that I sent over 15 messages to their customer service, and paid extra for a priority-assisted refund, I am still waiting for a reimbursement nearly a year and a half later. For other flights on this same trip booked through the airlines themselves that were cancelled due to the pandemic, including some of the same airlines as I booked through kiwi.com, I was able to get full refunds within two months.
Seems like dressed up fraud. It is better and more useful to burn your money to watch the flames and feel the warmth than to give it to Kiwi.com.
If it was possible, I would't rate it even with 1 point. Do not book with kiwi! Sure you will lose your money. Because of the cancelled by the air-company flight, I've requested a refund on 26/03/2021 for a travel Berlin-Tampa, on 07/04/2021 for the second travel -same destination, booked again with kiwi.com unfortunately. Till now nothing is done.

Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
Answer: There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
