Tickets from the first Corona wave were refunded by the Airline (Airline showed me the transfer) to Kiwi but Kiwi did not pass on funds to me & went dark on any communication. Going to court in Czech Republic now where kiwi is located which is a big hassle. They must be practically bankrupt if they need to defraud customers to keep operating.

Lies, deceit, and theft

Kiwi informed me that my flights were cancelled so I requested a full refund. So far I have only been refunded about half of the amount. The trip was for July 2020 and the refund request was in June 2020. It has been over a year. They are now claiming that one of my flights was not cancelled so they are not obligated to give me a refund. However, I have a screen shot from Kiwi from the day when I requested the refund showing "Cancelled flight" next to both flights. Furthermore, their customer service is horrendous. I can no longer talk with anyone on the phone nor will anyone respond to chat messages. Prior to this I spoke with a couple agents who said I would be refunded the full amount, Nonetheless, here I sit, not fully refunded.

I have tried to call the customer service multiple times. However it keep on saying that my booking number is incorrect! The only time when i successful reach them is at the 12 midnight with the same booking number. I asked them why are they not reachable all the times. Their only reply is due to high callss., i suspected that they rejecting the calls by saying your booking number is incorrect. The other problems is when your flight is cancelled, they will only provide you with a higher price alternatives which i suspected they are trying to steal your money. Please never ever use this stupid company!

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH KIWI!
I bought a "unique" ticket to Amman, with an extra segment to take a flight from Amman to Cairo. My e-ticket said that my final destination was Amman. I go to the airline's desk to check in, only to know that the information provided to the airline by Kiwi said that my final destination was Cairo and that I had to meet the Covid entry requirements for Cairo, and not Amman. I had to book another flight through the airline.
And of course, Kiwi did not own up to this and said that it is non-refundable for no valid reason!

This is the worst most money grabbing company out there.

Booked through Kiwi as the results that were being returned from Skyscanner listed them the cheapest place to purchase RyanAir flights.

When booking, I made a mistake on the booking using a title 'Mr' rather than 'Ms', I called within minutes of making the reservation and they would not change this without charging their 30 euro administration fee. This is a NON fee change with RyanAir.

I today tried to add some additional baggage and noticed they want to charge this handling fee again, this fee was paid for the title change already which has not yet been processed.

Kiwi will also not give you the booking email used to make your booking, after speaking with RyanAir who said they needed to they still refused. This is all so they can keep charging you 30 euros for changes!

I've spoken with several people on the phone, they all follow a script, some people don't appear to even understand what you are asking them.

I asked about a complaints department, they don't have one.

Honestly WORST company on the planet DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

Why the negative comment?

After paying for my trip with Kiwi.com I had a look at the ratings and reviews and I was shocked to see so many negative ones. I kept faith and didn't cancel my trip.
Kiwi.com did literally everything for me and I didn't upgrade to any premium package. I had several flights with transit and Kiwi did the Check-ins for me, sent me my boarding passes, recommended what documents to prepare for every flight, warned me about Covid procedures, etc.
I cannot find anything negative to say about them really. I recommend them to everyone!

Poor service /scam
July 8, 2021

Normally I book direct with airlines but unfortunately did not have much choice.

My flights connections were cancelled but Kiwi has not refunded the money despite their so called 'Kiwi guarantee' and that the airlines have refunded them. The battle to get my money back continues...

Will never use this company again.

I asked for refund and they dont want to pay me back for a wrongful ticket with luggage restriction. They don't care what happened to you in the airport. I was not able to board my flight due to their mistake.

We booked, got one email saying we were booked but never got ANY other info or boarding passes. Our international flight was 3 days away. We went to the website. "Call us." The phone voicemail told us to check the website, then disconnected. We called at least 30 times. We went to the airport and fortunately the airline had our reservation. Our return flight got screwed up and the airline wouldn't help because we'd booked through a 3rd party. We trekked Kiwi again with the same results. We had to purchase new return tickets and we're out $1500. I know enough to know that getting a refund through Kiwi is hopeless. AVOID THEM!

Kiwi pretended I made a mistake on my name so issued an E ticket which would have been unusable. They refused to correct the error unless I paid them a further 90 Euros despite my flights costing almost 2000 GBP. My tickets were never issued correctly so the flights were lost. They were the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Do not trust this company. Book your flights direct with the airlines.

A year ago my flights were cancelled due to COVID. I followed Kiwi's refund procedure right away. They claimed to have contacted the airlines and were awaiting a reply from them. I chased them after six months and received an automated reply to be patient. I chased them after a year and again received an automated reply. I have no faith Kiwi ever plans to pay me back. Do not use Kiwi.

Terrible

They don't care about anyone. Flight cancelled and they never told me. The airline sent them my new tickets but they didn't contacted me so I had to pay for new ones. After a few day they told me it was because of the big number of customers and they are sorry but they can't do anything. No respect for customers. Criminals!

Scam!

1. My flight got canceled a mere 2 hours after the booking was confirmed (I understand not their fault).
2. My calls are being rejected because I'm not in transit or 7 days prior to flying.
3. Not responding to any of my help desk messages.
4. System is not issuing kiwi credits so as to book alternative flights, even though I have paid for Kiwi Guarantee.

This is ridiculous. I cant contact anybody on their team to assist me...

If the price looks too good to be true, it probably is. You book, they "experience a delay in booking", then notify you that "carrier has increased the price (maybe 3x)" while they tried to book you. The advertised price on the website remains unchanged, serving as a bait for someone else. Look elsewhere.

I got an email from Kiwi.com saying my flight got delay for 3 hrs and now I have only 15 mins layover. Since I didn't choose their protected plan, they made it sound like it was my fault and asked me to pay $250 to reschedule my next flight. I ended up with spending double of what I initially paid for the ticket lol.

Absolutely appalling - be aware

Absolutely appalling. I booked a flight for the next day. I didn't receive any confirmation despite the money leaving my account immediately. I contacted them several times - all I got in response was automated (and completely useless) messages by phone, Facebook and Twitter.

Eventually, two hours before the scheduled departure, I managed to get through to someone on the phone. The girl on the phone was very helpful, but couldn't solve my situation. In the end, they gave me a refund and I had to book a flight with EasyJet, which at this point was £100 more expensive than it would have been had I booked it earlier.

Absolutely appalling experience. I had used kiwi in the past (pre pandemic) and didn't have any problems. AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE I SHALL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN - BE AWARE

I'm very dissatisfied with the quality of service i received from this business. I booked my flight a month ago and it was scheduled for 3pm. The day of my flight I come to the airport and the airline tells me my flight was rescheduled from 3pm to 11pm, three weeks ago! Which Kiwi never notified me of the change and the and they had 3 weeks to do so. I spoke with Liezel an agent from Kiwi and she was no help at all. She told me my only option was to accept the change. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused. I asked for a phone number to submit my compaint and she again refused to provide me with a number. I was told to go online and enter my complaint under the "feedback" section. I was forced to sit in the aiport for more than 10 hours

Scam

This business is a total scam. Especially in COVID-19 conditions, they left me stranded in a time I urgently needed help. I bought a ticket with a connecting flight to a city that did not allow transits and nobody from Kiwi reported this to me. When I found out, thankfully the airline cooperated and changed the bookings and all that was left was for Kiwi to re-issue my ticket within a small time frame. I tried contacting them in a span of 20 hours with constant "we'll call you back" and no responses whatsoever. After a long wait and countless of times asking, we spoke to the manager who was unbelievably rude, spoke over me every chance they got and could only say "well there's nothing we can do, it's not on our hands, the airline gave you false hope." Do not ever use Kiwi, it is an utter scam!

For a year and a half I have waited for the sum of $1,132.00 from Kiwi as I booked a flight with Ryan Air through them. The flight was cancelled due to COVID. When I initially requested a refund, they asked for $21.64 to get my money back from Ryan Air. A year and a half later, they sent a refund for $21.64 but not for the $1,132.00. They then said to contact Ryan Air. Often they are automated responses. You can never get a live person. This company is a scam and is sitting on my money and many other people's money. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.
