At Kiwi. Com you don't save money, you lose money die to NO support, if you need it.
They give you kind of good prices, but then when something happens, they disappear. They stop answer you, they ignore you, don't resolve anything (you have to call the airline yourself), and if you ask for a refund (even if the airline company tell you that its coming) they never give it to you.
My flight ended up getting cancelled. I requested a refund and saw the alert that a refund can take 3 months to complete. I didn't have another choice though so I went ahead with the request.
It's now been OVER 4 months since requesting the refund and the progress has not moved at all. I've reached out to customer service three times with no response. I reached out to the airline I booked with via Kiwi who told me they sent the refund 3 months ago. I feel like i'm never going to get my money back and i've basically burned almost $2K trusting this site.
TL; DR: customer service is non-existent. No phone number to call, no one answers emails, good luck getting your money back if your flight falls through.

Just horrible customer service
I booked a ticket from NY to Paris to Clermont-Ferrand (France) and got stuck at the airport because I didn't have a visa for. Spain! Reason being that my flight from New York to Paris was continuing its trip to its final destination in Madrid, Spain and they had booked me on it without me knowing. They expected me to just ignore that leg of the trip and get off in Paris. Except that at JFK they refused to let me board without a visa for Spain even though I was not going to Spain. A total mess. Of course none of that was mentioned on my reservation. Their excuse: it was mentioned in my kiwi.com consumer account that I should have created and checked. Really? 30 years of traveling and I have never once checked my airline "account". I use my ticket confirmation with the itinerary, thank you very much. I would rate Kiwi zero if I could.
I would give 0 star if I could. I bought a flight for a Saturday at a convenient time, but received a notification that a currier rescheduled my flight to Friday (a ticket that was cheaper since it's weekday). I paid more as I have family and work obligations - cannot fly on a Friday. Now, if I want to rebook to Saturday, I have to pay a full price again (starts from £150) and kiwi gives me £8.59 discount "for inconvenience" - that's simply unreasonable, I already paid more for a Saturday flight, now have to pay double again? And it's not that kiwi doesn't have flights on Saturday, it just wants you to pay again and more. IT's A SCAM! I tried chat online - live agent never connects, I tried calling - it says that it only serves customers that are in transit or are due to fly in the next 14 days and automatically hangs up. Never been so angry
Forget your refund even if the airline canceled the flight. I didnt search before booking with them but i know now
I would not recommend Kiwi. They are thieves and liers. We booked our flight to Canada with them. The pandemic hit and, while the airline company (in our case, Lufthansa) was reimbursing our flight, Kiwi told us Lufthansa did not.
What is funny is that, on top of lying to us, they offered us a 'refund service' to presumelly go and get the reimbursement from Lufthansa (that they had already received!). We PAID for this service 60 euros and their answer: 'despite our efforts, our team was not able to get the reimbursment of your flight'. We contacted this company Vol en $#*! (a lawer firm specialized in ailine litigations) and they got our money back!
As said, kiwi is cheap, but there is a difference between being cheap and having no ethical values!
My flight was cancelled in June 2020, and I was told that my refund would take 3 months. It is now September 2021, and I have not received a refund. The company has stopped responding to my messages via their website (the only way to contact them) and has not provided any updates regarding my refund status. According to the airline, I should have received a full refund. Please beware of purchasing flights through this company. You might save a few dollars by booking through them initially, but you will lose hundreds of dollars if your flight is cancelled, which is happening a lot because of COVID. Not worth it. Scammy company that preys on consumers.
I have bought an airline ticket with kiwi.com in July 2020. Because the flight was canceled due to Covid and I received a part of the money. But it has been a year, they are neither replying to emails nor refunding my money back. Do not EVER use this service.
The company is hiding behind a customer support that is impossible to reach.
If you want to call them they will charge you a hefty price / min.

My trip got cancelled due to corona and they decline my refund?! After telling me that the flight company are refusing to pay they stopped answering me.
Booked a train ticket from Montreal to Toronto. Once I reached VIA Rail they told me my booking did not exist. I had to call kiwi to ask them what is going on. I had already paid in full for the ticket and they said they had no idea where my ticket was. I had to buy a new ticket at the station and kiwi did not help me in any way! I still have not gotten my refund from them. They are scammers and will only take your money! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
They have not yet returned the money of my flight ticket from last July (14 months ago) to Tenerife that I know the airlines paid them already. They are keeping the money and not responding to queries even.
Avoid them at all costs! It will be better for you.
Due to covid flights were cancelled so process for refund started in Dec. Made contact in regularly since March. Kiwi confirmed they had received money from airline and it would be processed but that this was automated and they couldnt give a date. Continued to chase money eventually got no response to messages. Contacted airline direct who informed me that the refund had gone back to Kiwi on 12 February even giving me the credit card number. Still to date kiwi have my money and havent refunded. Do not use this company

I purchased a flight ticket from Guatemala City to Flores.
I missed my flight to Guatemala.
I replied to a booking conformation and explained my situation. Within a couple of hours I received an email saying my booking had been changed by the carrier, and I got just what I wanted.
I paid $254 dollars for reservations with two airlines that would get me from Washington D. C. to Mexico City through kiwi. I got the "standard" package so I could rebook if I needed to. I missed the 48-hour window by a few hours and they refused to let me rebook. I got the reservation numbers and looked up the flights on the airline websites. The total for both reservations was $190. Lesson learned it's not worth trying to save $10 using Kiwi.
Been sold a ticket that was never theirs to sell, only found out at the airport that the ticket did not belong to me, although I have the kiwi reservation and confirmation issued by them, 6 months after not a single reply or any form of communication from the company, they are well known for being a company that always find someone else to blame, but this time the error is 100 per cent theirs and even though, it's impossible to communicate with them left alone trying to get a refund, not surprise how this company is making so much money, selling tickets that doesn't exist and never refund their customers
Scam. In what universe is it okay to take 3 months or more to issue a refund. We paid for luggage on all flights and put in requests to get wheelchair assistance for my handicapped husband. We never got boarding passages on any of out flights. Neither airline got the luggage funds or the wheelchair message and we booked way in advance. When a company cannot provide what they clearly state they can and take your money for it, that is the definition of a scam. The fact that they can't refund sooner because of high volume. The work "volume" says it all. I truthfully doubt I will ever see my refund.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
Answer: There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
