My July 2020 flights were cancelled in June 2020. I applied for a refund in June 2020. Lufthansa confirmed payments to Kiwi by July 2020. I have had back and forth with Kiwi.com since then, even with them confirming that Lufthansa paid them, and I have not received my money. I finally disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed a report with the US Dept of Transportation. Never EVER use Kiwi.com
I had to give 1-star because neither 0-star nor negative-stars are possible.
They had cheap flights. I was excited and booked.
When I paid, I checked the details... my birthday was wrong (I KNOW I entered it correctly!).
I updated it online. This created a 2nd traveler entry... for myself. And then it also magically altered my birthdate again!?!
I added passport info, also stored wrong. Tried several times to edit, it looked right until I touched 'save' then changed again!?
I opened a ticket with support. They auto responded that it will be up to 24hrs. This all happened within 15min.
After 30min, I received an email telling me to book soon or prices might go up! But I had paid 30min before!
I added to my support ticket, but they wouldn't save. It took a while for me to figure out that it wouldn't save/update because I used the double-quote character!
The next day, I had received two unhelpful notes from staff that didn't read my messages.
The day after (so 2 days later), they said they couldn't book my flight!
Hopefully I get my $ back in full!

Utterly useless booking tool. Doesn't have on call service support. Ripps off money.if one of the flight cancelled, I need to either cancel the whole trip or rebook the whole trip.
Totally Nonsense
Worst experience I've ever had with a booking company. We paid for our flight, they charged us for our flight and took the money out of my account but when we got to the airport the airline said there was an issue with the booking company and we needed to pay again. I had to pay twice for the same flight because this company sucks so bad. When i reached them they said I needed to file paperwork and wait 90 days to get a response. After this awful experience, this company seems like a scam. Not only did we have to pay twice for the flight, we almost missed it because it took them an hour to figure out what was wrong (which didn't work obviously because we had to pay twice anyway). My wife had an asthma attack running across the airport. It was so bad that they almost kicked us off the plane because she was coughing and choking. Horrible, horrible experience. Go with a normal booking site that won't scam you, steal your money, and strand you at the airport.
Not sure how but I booked a flight through KIWI.COM (through SkyScanner somehow). Regardless, WestJet cancelled their flight and refunded all their customers their money (I know as my friend who was accompanying me luckily booked directly with WestJet). KIWI.COM on the otherhand rebooked me on a totally different flight that involved an extra stop and 8 extra hours of flying time. First they don't accept phone calls more than 2 weeks before takeoff, and the first text complaint took two weeks for a response on my cancellation request. But they then repeatedly insisted their policy is as long as the rebooking is within 24hours of the original it's ok. Terrible company to deal with.
I try to purchase a air ticket and they never confirm the ticket, but took my money from my bank account, is no way that you can speak with a person by phone and they don't want to return my money now when they never give me the tickets, now they said I have a credit. This is very unacceptable and I don't know
how they can operate legally because basically they stole my money and now they trying to force me to buy from them when they never give me any tickets and I never cancel anything. Don't buy anything from then.
I wish I could give 0 stars. This company is the worst. Gave me the biggest headache to deal with. One of my connections was cancelled and I was told to choose an alternative flight. I found a flight I liked and chose it and was about to be charged $236 on top of what I already paid— with NO refund to be given for the cancelled flight. I tried calling approx. 10 times and gave my booking # and since I wasn't currently traveling or due to travel in 14 days they immediately hung up with no other options. I then go to chat with them online and I went back and forth re-explaining the situation probably 15 times and just kept receiving vague, general answers with no personal help for my issues. I ended up calling the airlines directly to get my flight information, confirmation number, etc directly from them rather than continuing to go through Kiwi for checking in, if there was another cancellation, etc. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. It has caused me so much stress. I will be going directly through airlines from now on, even if it costs more. Do not give one penny to Kiwi.
Much like similar reviews below, one of my layover flights was cancelled. I was then offered a new layover flight-I paid for it- and they then cancelled my final destination flight without telling me. I tried and tried and tried to dispute it for 3 days but absolutely no luck in getting my money back. You deal with a new person everytime you send a message to their customer service and they each give you conflicting information. Please avoid them at all costs, they don't deserve any customers. They will just rob your money and find every reason under the sun to not give it back to you.
Absolutely terrible company, I can't understand how they still exist and their numerous frauds weren't investigated and they weren't closed or at least made accountable for their actions.
I bought a roundtrip ticket and after only a few days got email notifying me that airline cancelled my return flight and they're sending me revised ticket with the flight which is 5 hours later than was the original one. This means I miss my connecting flight! I wrote them this flight doesn't suit me and asked to find an earlier time. The response was they do not have control over airline and if a new flight they booked for me doesn't suit, I can make a change by myself, but I'll have to buy a new ticket and pay a full price for it. The fact I didn't initiate the change and that they booked for me a new flight without even asking me, was irrelevant. I tried to appeal to the common sense and logic, but it wasn't the case. All responses I got had the same meaning: airline cancelled your flight, we're not responsible, if a new flight doesn't satisfy you - go and buy a new ticket. I guess if a new flight gets cancelled, there will be another round of buying a new ticket.
It was such a mistake to purchase tickets without reading review about this company. But it was a good lesson and I won't make such mistake ever again. In fact, they don't even deserve one star, if zero ratiting existed, I'd choose it.
I found a ticket from Eastern Europe to Cincinnati with three flights (this is normal) for $300. Usually, on the off months I pay between $600-$900 and during peak months I pay between $1k-$1.2k. Reading all of the reviews, and having a horrible experience with BravoFly, I was 1000% skeptical and worried. I think I didn't have a bad experience because there were no cancelations with any of my flights since I bought it about 10 days before departure. I didn't have to communicate with anyone from their team, everything went pretty normal. My review is that they saved me money and I was able to get from point A to point B. I will definitely continue using them for my flights.
Absolutely the worst website for travel. They have the worst customer service and did not honor their promise to refund our flight even if they cancelled.
Wouldnt Recommend. The quality is so bad. The refund is only 2% of the ticket price. Although they cannot change your flight and you cant call them.

I have had my flight canceled by Virgin Atlantic, having had it booked with Kiwi.com.
I have even paid their extra fee for assistance and no response was ever given.
Kiwi is impossible to contact as they do not have any numbers available.

I ordered a flight with connection through them. The first flight got delayed, so they cancelled both flights (because there wasn't time enough to get to the second flight). I found an alternative second flight, but they still cancelled both flights and although i really asked to get the ticktes to the first flight which i paid for they wouldn't let me. At the end i bought it again (paid twice) and got no refund from KiWI. NEVER USE this service, always better to buy directly
KIWI.COM advertising for very Cheap Prices, once you entered your Payment Method Information, they Charged more than double the price, When you call their horrible Customer Service, the only choice is to let you accept voluntary Cancellation, to return you only 11 Euros ($11.88). That's positive scamming. Be aware, Don't Trust KIWI.COM,
I was double booked on the same flight because the first booking was denied by my bank as fraud. Although all passenger and flight details were the same, because I used a different email address for the booking, they are saying it's not a double booking and refusing a refund. I can't occupy two seats on the same flights! After the bank fraud alert, Kiwi sent a refund for the seat request only.
No Credit voucher option? Absolutely rubbish service. Each chat message is responded bya different agent who does not read any of the previous note. Standard reply is telling me to rebook online or have a £10 refund due to voluntary cancellation. Peru is red COVID status means I cannot go to Peru! The other option is to rebook a different flight but as I want to do the trip in one years time and the airline has not published their schedule, keeps suggesting me to pick a different date when I'm not in Peru. No option to receive a credit voucher unlike any companies I have dealt with physical or online. They are cheap for a reason. If everything goes well, you are lucky. If things goes wrong, they won't help you but will keep your money. Of course, they will be able to cancel the flight with the airline, no problem. BUT you won't get your money back. Unacceptable business practises. Avoid avoid avoid. I warned them about giving them a bad rating. They simply said it was no reason to. I can get a refund (£10) for the standard ticket I purchased or rebook even though there dates did not suit me. Like hitting my head against a brick wal
Terrible! The worse experience I ever had, together with skyscanner. They should call them skyscammer!. Booked a trip to Montengro consisting in 3 different flights. I couldn't check in online, not allowed, the luggage policies on their website are wrong. Ther e-ticket they provide you doesn't inform you which tarif you have, so no way to find out until you check in at the counters. Call them few times to find out, there had no idea or they couldn't explain. Terrible experience, end up costing me almost twice the amount advertised. I won't recommend and I will never never use it again.
Bought a multicity intninerary. 3 days after they canceled. Got my refund, but constumer service never replied.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
