I am warning everyone to be careful about this kiwi website. This company is stealing ppl money I have purchased 2 ticket from this website 6366.00 dollars and because of airlines issue I couldn't departure to the plan and this this company refused to return my money very bad service they agent in call centre is all Indian from India they can't even speak English properly.
I booked a flight with kiwi because the fare looked amazing, well it was a night mare. I received a confirmation that my flight had been changes on my way to the airport. I called for assistance but was told by them to call the carrier if I wanted help. I did and was informed that kiwi purchased a standby ticket for my flight and I would Comoros be bumped until they had a flight that wasn't full. Kiwi is a scam company and don't stand bet tickets they sell.
These incompetent SOBs stole $500 US from me. I booked a flight with them and got double-charged by both them and the airline. When we tried to resolve it we got stone-walled by their overseas support team. They were incapable of helping us, so we canceled the fight. I had to call into cancel it and was told that I would receive a full refund since it less than 24 hours since I booked it. Turns out, it was a non-refundable ticket and that money is now gone. But on top of it we still have the double airline charge and when we called kiwi to resolve it they told us to call united. I did this and united said they couldn't help since my only booking number was generated by kiwi and united didn't recognize it. So I got my bank and they will have to fight it out for us. Disgusting company!
My flight from NYC to Mexico was cancelled due to weather, and Kiwi gave me two options: either cancel the booking and get full money back, or PAY to re-book the flight, which was 80% the price of the original flight. As I was in a rush, I paid to re-book and spend way more than if I just went with a regular carrier. You get what you pay for folks. DO NOT USE.
There was no way that I could write this review if I don't give them 1 star but if I had option to give them negative star I would have done it. NEVER EVER BOOK TICKETS THROUGH KIWI. We lost all our money. One of the connecting flight got cancelled so my husband couldn't get to his next flight. And had to book the whole new flight with paying double the price. He was stuck in Abu Dhabiairport with no money And kiwi didn't refund any saying they are not responsible. My husband was coming back from India after his mother passing away, he lost both his parents in short span of time. And since he had to be there in India to take care of them he lost his job. So what ever money was left he booked the tickets through Kiwi. And now we lost all the money around $1700 and had to book new tickets for around $2700 that we borrowed from a friend.
Now with his moms passing away and loosing all the money he is in a state of traumatic depression. Thanks for Kiwi for putting my family in this situation. So please if you pay some extra dollars pay that to reliable company not to kiwi.

Our flight was cancelled- completely out of our control. Kiwi rebooked us for a flight two days later. We didn't confirm this because we needed to find an earlier flight back home to our kids. They refused to refund because they "gave us an alternative flight" which if we decided not to use, was on us. So where do you draw the line with how far out you book someone and they have any say over their flight? We went in circles over the phone- they wouldn't budge. A $600 lesson
I came back to my country after traveling to South America with my parents.
However, during the trip, Kiwi site contacted me that the reservation was canceled 3 hours 30 minutes before boarding.
I just went to the airport, worried if it was true. And I didn't have any other choice.
When I showed the details of my payment and reservation, the airline staff was also embarrassed.
Because They Coudn't check my name.
If I could have bought another ticket, I would have bought it right away.
However, it was El Calapate in Argentina.
It's a place where there aren't many flights, and all of them all sold out on that day.
Originally, it was a flight to Iguazu via Buenos Aires.
But eventually, there were no seats in until the next afternoon.
So I took the premium economy and went over to Buenos Aires at the late afternoon.
Kiwi gave me all the refunds, but when I looked at the loss afterwards, it was about $1780.
(Including buying tickets again)
But, money is no matter. And I can go back later.
But it was first and last chance for my parents. Kiwi ruined my family's trip.
I'm really upset and I never use again Kiwi.
Classic bait and switch on Phoenix to Tampa July 04 and 05. No refund. Unable to change booking!
Complete scam, based in Chech republic
They sold me a ticket with missing information. They give me the ticket as Toronto to Istanbul. But in fact it was part of a deal of trip Toronto to Istanbul to London. But the Turkish air line was rude too they didn't accept me because when the know I will be in Istanbul as final destination.
I used Kiwi.com to book a return flight from Frankfurt to Toronto. The flight failed to be booked despite receiving confirmations. I was stranded at the airport and only received communication from Kiwi.com 7.5 hours after I notified them of the mistake. Kiwi.com continued to make mistakes as they booked accommodation on the incorrect date as I need to stay over night at the airport. Kiwi.com failed in their organisation and communication. I will never use Kiwi.com again and I would recommend those who consider Kiwi.com to not use their services. June 2023
They scammed me. They gave me an option to lock the price for 72 hours. I locked it and tried after 48 hours to book again. It said the price has shot above a certain limit and we couldn't lock it. I tried 3-4 times and it gave me a same popup. The deal was that I will get my money back if the locked price shoots up. I never got the money back. I booked another ticket with some expensive rates. Then I contacted Kiwi customer care and asked them for a money back. Every time I ask them they said you exceeded the 72 hour limit and unfortunately we can't give a refund. That is ridiculous. I asked them 5 times and every-time they gave me this response. What a fraudulent business.
According to them, my below screenshot means lock is expired. While it means that I have 24 hours more. I clicked on that email as soon as I received it. And I am 1000% sure that it was hardly 48 hours since I booked. I am surprised such a company still survives.
Worst website ever, it's a scam be aware, booked some flights, airline cancelled connecting flight, contracted kiwi, who advised we can't offer a refund and we've cancelled the whole booking.
My reservation number is *******, I canceled the reservation as soon as I made the reservation, but the cancellation was not processed. In addition, I changed the reservation, but the reservation before the change was not refunded. When I called about it, the agent got angry with me and hung up the phone unilaterally.
They are scammers! My mother used kiwi on a flights that were physically impossible to make since there were so many flight changes plus with customs. When we tried to get a return they only gave $11 back and it was almost $2,000 and that's just not right. We talked to the costumer service people but all they say is sorry and we agreed to it but it didn't tell us anywhere that we were only going to get $11 back when we went to cancel. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU CAN MAKE IT OR DONT NEED TO CANCEL!
Pretty bad service. I've booked the flight thinking we have a regular layover and the luggage would be transfer to a destination. Turns out, they've booked two separate flights for us and with a short layover time its now virtually impossible to get our bags checked as we won't have time to get the bags and 'register' for the second leg. Inquired about the refund within 24 hrs, they said that only 10 euros could be applied to another trip. Otherwise there's no refund.
Horrible service. Stay clear.
It's unfortunate but, i too, fell for the appealing deals kiwi had to offer. They cancelled one of my flights and said they would like to talk with airlines on the phone. The representative at Allegiant airlines told her you guys are a scam! She found the file in the system but it was cancelled through kiwi themselves.The lady on the phone said you're breaking up and the phone call hung up. She starts laughing because she was like "I told you they're a scam. We get lots of customers here with the same issue." However, moments later the kiwi representative called my phone again and she said I'm expecting partial refund which is partial. "Expecting." Either way, im disputing my charge. I spent more than I would have thanks to the deceptive claims made by kiwi. May very well experience one or all of the following Inconvenience in wait time, missing flights, and you spend more money
The site cannot provide a breakdown of flight ticket charges. Lack of transparency! Very disappointed! Didn't do the job they were commission fee for!
Terrible customer service after being scammed by change fees. We had to change our flight due to unrest in Peru. They were going to charge double to change the flight. I went through my credit card to cancel and the charge was just reinstated. The person on the phone was beyond rude and ended up hanging up on me.
I had booked a flight with kiwi from cmh-yycthe airline cancelled my flight when i called them, they told me to rebook it and the cost was 1200usd when I called the airline directly they said since its our fault we will reschedule you. The kiwi agent said no point In calling the airline they can't do anything but I had my doubts...they tried their best to extort money out of me, I told them I'll call back.They are frauds never ever boom with kiwi.com
Long story short, made me pay twice for the same ticket, sent me option to change date via email, "Terms and conditions apply", as usually smallest possible letters.
Went doing that without thinking much, who would assume that its needed to pay full ticket if such option is given.
Went with procedures, paid new itinerary in full, thinking that i will be refunded later when they fix with previous company.
Thats when sh*t came my way, support kept sending this and that regarding plans or whatever the scam was they were saying.
Won't use anymore for sure.

Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
