I only choose this sight because I was doing a multi-city trip. It was the cheapest option, but I had a 12 hour layover in London and had to self transfer to another airport in London. My mistake because I didn't notice the different airport location. Then on the way back I had a 15 hour layover, and my flight got rescheduled in Boston because no more morning flights. Which added another 5 hour layover at a different airport. And added another 9 hours to my already 30 hour trip home. I don't intend on ever using this company again. Not worth the time for the savings.
I paid for a ticket that allowed to me to recoup 80% of my ticket expense if I had to cancel. I canceled within 24 hours and they only refunded my 50% of the ticket. They told me that part of the ticket cost was not refundable. Even though, the option says "80% refund of the ticket and any airline services if you cancel". They are scammers. Do not buy a ticket from them.
This company is shady, do not trust them! I bought the tickets 5 months before my flight. They've change dates of my flight, then 2 days later emailed me again saying that everything is ok and nothing has changed. 2 weeks before my flight I've checked that everything is ok and it turned out that my flight has been cancelled. When I've contacted them they said they are still waiting to get the money from the airline to refund me however that's a lie. I've called airlines directly and I've been told that they have sent money back to them 2 months ago! So that was a lie, so they just kept it for 2 months. Surprisingly they refunded me that same day i've contacted them but this time they've kept 200 $ for them selfs and told me that's all the've received from the airline company. That is another lie - airline stated that they always refund 100% of the tickets and that is their refund policy. The dates in the email are not correct, they lie and don't take responsibility for anything.
I am currently in the process of paying for amendments to my flight details. Apparently, I spelt my Surname wrong when registering, they say I entered PARR rather than PARRY, and this has been carried across to all of my flights. This trip is for my 60th Birthday, so I am 100% sure I did not do this, after all I have had plenty of practice
I requested an audit of my account, of course nothing was available. So I then went through each line on my booking confirmation and logged on to each of the airlines using the PNR No's provided. My trip includes multiple flights with multiple carriers. I have detailed what I have found below.

Lufthansa (Name in perfect order)
They are total charlatans. I am beyond angry, I have recorded all of my findings with appropriate screen shots and I intend to take this further. Once of course, I have sorted out my Bucket List birthday trip.
I am also going to report this to SkyScanner as it was search through there that led me into this nightmare.

Do not use this website. I cancelled my flight expecting a refund. When i found out there was no refund I asked if I could have my flight back and they said that because I cancelled my flight I lost my tickets. So they stole my $800 and did not give me my tickets back. I paid for plane tickets and didn't even get to use them. I feel completely scammed.
Absolute dog $#*! of a company. Booked through them for a trip to Albania. They overbooked me and got lucky to be on standby to make my flight. Then, on return, my flight was delayed over 4 hours so I was entitled to my 250 Euro compensation per EU law. However, Kiwi refused to provide me the booking info to apply for it after about 50 back and forth emails, some of which were lies saying I don't qualify for it, which wasn't true. This is literally the worst service I've had in my entire life and I'd rather walk to my destination than book through this flaming dumpster of a company. AVOID!
Booked flights with kiwi via skyscanner on completion of the booking they had removed all checked baggage and booked flights with unachievable connections with self check in between airlines. Paid for the premium customer support service (this promises a response in 3 hrs) and they will not return calls, I contacted one of the airlines direct and they cannot help as the payment was made in Indian Rupee.
We have paid over $1000 extra to add check baggage which we have had to contact each airline direct. Kiwi never forwarded the confirmation for the extra baggage.
It shouldn't even be 1 star but had to select a rating.
They also have a scam site called trust pilot which gives them 4 star rating, this is a fake site!
We are submitting complaint to ACCC DO NOT USE THEM!
Do not use kiwi. Their system is antique and their customer service is awful. You have to pay for better customer service, which is only faster responses. Take your money and time elsewhere.
For my scenario, When I finished all my bookings flight, hotel, visa, taxis and got a last minute email from the Vietnam government E Visa system saying their system was malfunctioning kiwi told me to buy a new flight and I could not have a refund, nor a flight change even though I could not enter the country I bought a flight to. Ridiculous of kiwi's terrible customer service. I would never use this service again when there are many other better options.
CHEATERS
I booked a connected flight on june 2023. 1 day after my booking kiwi sent a mail regarding the flight has been cancelled from tarom bucharest to Istanbul, and that I have to pay extra money to book a new ticket. They blammed the airline company and promised me they will reimburse the highest amount for the ticket. Actual ticket cost me 5600 TL, new flight cost me 8800TL total flight cancellation with istanbul-izmir is around 16.000TL. The only reimburse they gave me is 898TL! THEY ARE BEYOND OF CHEATERS. THE MOST WORST COMPANY I HAVE SEEN, NEVER EVER I WILL BOOK WİTH KIWI AGAIN, JAVİD THERE SUPERVISOR CALLED ME AND SAID HE WOULD NOT HELP AND THAT I CAN DO WHATEVER I WISH SUCH AS REVIEWS OR LEGAL ACTION. HOW RUDE, WHAT A LAME COMPANY THIS IS. NEVER EVER BOOK WITH KIWI NEVER EVER BOOK WITH TAROM!

My family and I booked round trip air travel from the U.S. to Brazil. At the last minute our itinerary was changed by kiwi and we had to pay extra for the alternative flights. The original itinirary included checked luggage and kiwi was trying to have us pay additional fees on the alternative flights. It took nearly a week for them to admit that they were double charging. Upon our return, I deleted my account on kiwi. I strongly recommend to stay away from using this deceptive and untrusty travel site.

Such a pity, they can't delivery a decent service
We have booked flights on kiwi. But they create an anonymous email and password for you to access the airline website (Ryanair). Also, to check in, for each flight and passenger (we had 6), you have to do an identity check: live video, difficult to take passport photo, video test (look right, left, smile)... before you can log in to your personal space, and then start the classic check-in process again (passport number, address, etc etc etc...). I have to admit that it's maddening and that many people wouldn't have been able to go through this stressful stage before departure. I've never seen this on other travel websites (mytrip, edream...) so avoid Kiwi!
I faced lot of issues after booking with them. There is absolutely no customer support. I did not get any refund even though I cancelled my flight and never travelled with them.
I paid for connected flight for 3 persons. Kiwi.com charged me for 3 persons but gave as only 2 seats and an infant! I specifically paid for 3 people so my 22 months old can have his own seat but hey took money and didn't book seat for my child! Absolutely disgusting! Things got even worse when I added baggage and bought Cabin baggage but they charged me for baggage assistance at the airport as it is connected flight! I bought CABIN baggage so I don't need bloody assistance at the airport!I wouldn't recommend Kiwi.com at all. Good advice just use their website to find flights and book it directly with the airline.
Do NOT use this company! They are a crooked scam. They will take your money and won't help you. They outsource to other countries with people who don't have customer service skills. They just keep repeating the same thing without assisting you in anyway. Do not fall for this
First of all you cannot even reach them, because they only let you communicate through machines with automatic responses. We were supposed to check in online and it did not work. Tried it several times but they had technical issues (see attached photo). We decided to do the check in at the airport and we were charged by the airline for CHECKing IN 110 EUROs for two tickets! This is clearly a scam and they are probably sharing profits with RyanAir after having they Sh*t website technical issues. SHame on such a service. Tickets this was were not cheap at ALL. Also I paid for extra luggage for both tickets and they have charged us on the way back telling us that we have paid only for having extra luggage for one way! BTW it was never written anywhere that we have bought it for one way. Who freaking buys extra luggage for one way? Terrible terrible. Shame on them. This was the first and last time I book anything through them.
Please buy a more expensive ticket because these cheap KIWI tickets will be eventually even more expensive and you will have no idea what you have bought.
I purchased $670 in seat upgrades for wife and I while flying through Europe, never received them, the offered 40$ in compensation.

Almost a year later and still fighting… they are the worst travel agency out there ….stay far away!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
