Kijiji lied to me. After several request they came out with some excerpt from someone that complaint against me.
A company that can discriminate against someone should loose their license to operate in Canada if you asked me.
Also be very carefull when using KIJIJI to hire people. Lots of thieves and i was even ask of nowhere to go meet someone at a known crime spot where people steal cellphones from people meeting them.
Even a couple called me to rent a room, they wanted it right away because they lost their i.d. that at -30 celcius. Be carefull anyone at KIJIJI can say you have no right to refuse off hand to rent to someone.
One person wanted a room for her and a rooster. I inquired if i was not understanding the ad. She really wanted a room for her and a rooster.
She complained to KIJIJI i did not rent to her.
Kijiji is a woke company where the honest people like me have no rights..

I must have wasted two hours posting health and wellness supplements. All of which were posted using kijijis "whatever we choose" criteria so they just delete the ads. If your going to waste my time then I'll take my potential business elsewhere. Creatine and bcaa aren't "allowed" but gorilla mode preworkout is? Whatever. Kijiji was relevant when I was in high school…. 15 years ago. There are better options with less posting nazis. Kijiji would get 0/5 if I could. Time wasting cheap and an old terrible interface.

As of recent Conveniently the site gets you little views or eyes on your listings or things being sold. Unless you go through a paywall. I add a lot to my description, put in the right category, specify location, add photos. Still no views. Algorithm needs to be fixed. Also lots of WhatsApp scamming going on where people want to buy your listings via WhatsApp but conveniently never answer back they have no intention of buying off you.They just want your money. Its recommended to ignore any WhatsApp message via Kijiji. Most likely scam going on. Pay attention whoever is behind kijjiji.clean your site of this scam plague.

Kijiji is useless now unless you want to scroll through page after page of the same companies advertising their "great" deals. No way to filter them out. I thought the whole purpose of this site is to find used products sold by individuals in your area. Now it's just a good platform for ads from various warehouses

I've been using Kijiji for many years to buy and sell items. A few years ago Kijiji decided to allow buyers & sellers to add reviews of others on Kijiji. Three years ago I was selling a chesterfield on Kijiji. I accepted an offer from a person that lived an hour from my house. This person then said he wanted me to deliver the item. When I told him it would cost an extra $50 to deliver (2 hour round trip) to cover the cost of fuel in my gas guzzling truck he left me a one star review saying I was an unfair seller. This was a lie and an unjustified review. To this day my only review is this terrible one star rating. I contacted Kijiji to say this was an unjustified review and asked them to remove it. They basically said "live with it". Their review system is ridiculous and can drag an honest upstanding person to the gutter for all to see!

I have been very active on Kijiji for the past couple of years and I love it. I sell lots of stuff easily. I have over 80 5-star reviews and I could probably give out just as many 5-star reviews. I can shop for almost anything I need, including service people. I have been hearing lots of people mention Facebook Market place as a good place to buy and sell, but I love Kijiji and I really hope it remains the number 1 site for buying and selling goods and services.

What a terrible website to try to sell anything through! Ads don't post. Support non-existent. Forget it!

IM AFRAID THAT KIJIJI IS NO LONGER AN EFFECTIVE SELLING PLATFORM LIKE IT USED TO BE. LOTS OF LOOKERS BUT NO BUYERS. WHY? I THINK COVID HAS DESSIMATED THE MARKETPLACE. PEOPLE LOSING THEIR JOBS, WORKING PART TIME LEADS TO NO DISPOSABLE INCOME. THATS THE REASON! NOT ALL THE REASONS THEY GIVE YOU AS TO WHY THE SALES ARE SO SLOW IF NON EXISTENT. THIS IS NOT KIJIJIS FAULT BUT THE CONDITION OF THE ECONOMY. ONLY TIME WILL CHANGE THAT.

Anytime I post new ads some guy keeps messaging me on different accounts pretending to be different people interested in my product and just wastes as much time of mine as he can. I create new accounts all the time but he always seems to find me even when I create new account and sell different products.

I get hundreds of phone calls from different numbers (spoofed)
Hundreds of text messaging per day.

Kijiji has lot's of stalkers and scammers.

What this guy does is basically scam people by asking them to ship him the product.

The title kinda says it all. The Kijiji website and app are beyond broken. The IT department of Kijiji clearly doesn't try. That, or they outsourced to some less-than talented contract studio.

Ironically, I own a Software Design Studio and emailed Kijiji asking if they would be interested in procuring our services to turn their services around for them at a discount.

We never heard back. Maybe they will reach out when they realize that they are losing market share to other platforms with quality platforms.

After all these years they cant even allow decent photos that go full screen even still, get with the times

I advertised a switch game for Sale. I received a reply from none other than Jason. I noticed Jason was also selling the same game on Kijiji for $5 more than my asking price. I was certain that the Jason showing interest in my game was trying to ruin a Sale for me as it took him 4 hours to reply back when I stated that there were no-issues with the game. I reached out to the Live Chat and requested to the Operator (KEITH) if he can search to see if the IP address of Jason where a Match. --The CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM KEITH WAS A DROPPED CHAT. WHY?

So that was my next Live Chat Question? As KEITH clearly can't READ and another DROPPED CHAT. I decided that I would give it 1 more go of trying to reach a decent OPERATOR only to have been Dropped again by SAMMY!

Well 15 years of using your Site to asking your Site to BLOCK ME PERMANENTLY!~

I will be sure to run your Site down to the GROUND! - You can ALSO SAY HEY TO Grant who also needs to have some manners in handling Customer Care Lines!

First of all, it ALWAYS switches to french although my profile is clearly set to English.
Second, it's pretty much impossible to post a review so if this outfit becomes an accessory to swindlers you can't even warn the others that they will be taken for a ride.
Hope it will be driven out of business soon.

I have been trying to post ads onto the site. They get listed momentarily and then disappear. This is regardless of whether you have made payment or not. If you are able to reach someone on customer care through chat, they are always unwilling to engage. They dismiss you so quick and ask you to join another platform. Please note I made sure I followed all the guidelines when posting my ads. Kijiji is a online ads place where people are allowed to post their products for sale.

I was disallowed to post any further ad according to Kijiji that I violated Kijiji policy. Which is fair if I really was in violation. Upon several request through Kijiji help/customer service to provide more detail as in what did I posted was in violation and never did get any detail from them. It can be a case that my account was hacked and ad was posted in violation or I did posted something in violation. But I should be given the detail and not out right banned from posting without further explanation other than claiming that I violated their policy. Such a joke for acting like a dictator.

I had someone contact me on Kijiji yesterday about a seeing machine ad. We exchanged messages 7 times in total. But 4 days ago 160 tracking attempts by 6 companies were blocked in my Kijiji app by Duckduckgo. I can't remember using my Kijiji app 4 days ago except to repost an add that was about to expire and Kijiji wouldn't repost it for me.
