Avoid Kijiji for Paid Ads - Wasted Money!

I'm disappointed with Kijiji's paid ads. I spent money, but my ad got only six views in weeks. It didn't work as promised, and I feel like I wasted my money. Don't use it for paid ads!

My mother passed away, leaving 2 cats that I could not keep. I couldn't find any rescue place that had capacity and I needed to find a good home for them quickly as I had no place to keep them so I purchased an ad on Kijiji to give away the cats for free to a good home. The site allowed me to select "free" as the asking price.

After taking my payment, Kijiji sent me notification that they were cancelling my ad because they have a policy that animals cannot be given away for free. I was not allowed to change the ad to include an asking price, I did not receive a refund for the cancelled ad, and I did not receive a response to my inquiry back to them.

While I understand that my ad went against their policy, it was an innocent mistake. I should have been allowed to correct the ad, particularly since the site did not prevent me from selecting "free" as the price for cats to rehome. If you're not allowed to put "free" as the asking price for cats then the site should not allow you to select that for the ad. This is clearly just a ploy to take money for ads they cancel, in the hopes people will pay more money to post a new, corrected ad.

I am so disgusted by this. I will NEVER use Kijiji again.

I received a fraudulent email from kijiji. Impossible to leave a message or get in contact with people here. Even when written "need more help, contact us", I am sent back to their useless knowledge center. Finally found "If you have any questions, please reach out to our Customer Support team."...and this link sends me again back to the main useless help page...

To put it in sple words the new app is crap. It is hard to zoom as easy as it was on the old one and I am trying to get the old version I am not on it as I was before.

Une annonce dans ma page personnel qui ne m'appartenait pas qui a été poster pour un autre individu pour louer un bien locatif dans une ville donc je ne me suis jamais rendu

Donc devant une pareil connerie, devant ce site web a la con qui mélange les annonces des annonceurs, j'ai voulu contacter Kijiji et je suis tomber de ma chaise

La section contact était un leurre

Imaginez deux secondes que vous ne voulez pas vous faire déranger par personne? Quelle est votre solution? Ne pas mettre de section contact, c'est tout simple

Mais sans section contact, cela ne fait pas très professionnel voyez-vous

Alors comment éviter de se faire contacter et avoir l'air professionnel tout a la fois? Créer une fausse section contacte. Comme cela aucun idiot ne les déranges et ils gardent "l'allure d'un site entièrement opérationnel et professionnel"

Comment on appel cela déjà? Ah oui vouloir le beurre et l'argent du beurre

Moi je ne veux pas avoir affaire a des charlatans et des imposteurs qui font semblant pour l'image

Et je ne veux pas de ce site web qui mélange les annonces des membres inscrits, c'est douteux, très douteux.

Il serait peut-être temps de penser a engager des gens compétant au lieux de losers qui ne savent pas ce qu'ils font

Le résultat est minable, le résultat est raté et complètement bugué

Et par loser qui ne savent pas ce qu'ils font je parle d'un service de merde qui bloque toute utilisateur de poster plus qu'une seule publicité

L'utilisateur doit d'abord entre son code postale que le système reconnait parfaitement, lors de la seconde publicité, le système ne reconnait plus le code postale lisible et visible déjà entré dans le système et comme il est déjà entrer dans le système, le système refuse d'utiliser le même

Oui le système complètement débile lance en même temps: Le code postale n'est pas entré - Le code postale est le même que celui actuelle

Donc avec ce site programmé comme des débiles profond, il faut changer de code postale entre chaque annonce, un faux code postale a chaque annonce, sinon le système se chie littéralement dessus

Pathétique comme dans la fonction pour ajouter des liens youtube qui cite que les liens youtube sont invalide

Ce serait comme une restaurant qui refuserait toute produit trouvé sur le menu

Countless duplicate ads. No indication of listing counts in various categories. Forced to wade through pages of unnecessary repeat information. It reminds me of the Canadian auto trader app. They sold out to the car dealerships and lost the following of the individual selling their cars etc. now spending huge on advertising to try and convince people there's value there. Not. Kijiji now has no respect for my time. It's a complete time waster.
It's forced me to go to Facebook as a last resort. Marketplace is at least the real deal of individuals listing items.
After being with Kijiji from its launch it's adios for me.

Response to concerns is 1 out of 5 times. I cancelled my account dont know if they will respond to that. It might be that its being sabotaged from the inside.
They put a rechapta thing on where I have to go through about 7 piuctures, very anoying and time consuming.
Really I get a lot of views but only lookers, it is when things are dirt cheap anyone response and then they send messages about lowering my price, well how would thye like their paycheck lowered.
Really a wast of time

Alors quand vous avez lu mon titre, vous ne compreniez pas au départ, maintenant vous comprenez tout

Ils ont un double sens de ce qui est illégale et de ce qui ne l'est pas selon la manière que l'on leur rempli leur gamelle.

Je ne pouvais passer ces double standard belliqueux sous silence et je ne tiens pas pas plus qui faut a donner des pots de vins pour qu'ils ferment les yeux sur mon produit, je vais le vendre en main propre.

It used to be pretty decent, i would get answers and i tought people were actually using it. Not anymore. It is now totally worth less. Marketplace killed it

Worse service If there is any at all great your account as fraud if you create 2 ads in 24 hours ZERO customer service, and will steal

I think its ludicrous to have to pay kijiji to sell a dog. Nit sure about other animals but it's a money grab. Car salesmen don't have to pay to sell cars. Businesses dint have to pay to sell services etc...but if u sell a dog u MUST PAY for the ad. And u have to pay monthly. No amount of reasoning can justify this!

Poor quality pictures, limited description wording, high price, no shipping offered.
I think some sellers think everyone on here is a crook or trying to con them.
You message them for more information or better quality pictures and they just
Won't do it! Then they wonder why their item doesn't sell.One item I was interested in has been on Kijiji for two years! If you try and help them by sending better info. On their item they just ignore it. I remind them that the buyer will pay for shipping and the transaction can be done with an e-transfer.
I get the impression that some sellers don't know what that is. If they are too lazy to take an item to the post office then they are totally relying on local sales, which really limits their chances. Anyways, that is my rant for today but I
Just get tired of some of these people who limit themselves and their selling prospects on here.

After posting an ad to warn others of a scam, I got so many thank youse from regular people on Kijiji, but then Kijiji comes in and bars me from free advertising and put me as a dealer. All I did was help people from a loser of a scammer, and I got rewarded by getting my account banned, very intelligent Kijiji

Show me where I agreed to 60 days cancellation notice.

2. Bad faith.
3. Bad business.
4. Worst customers service.
5. Actually tries to blame customers to advertise on kijiji.
