Like most people who have written a review for this firm. I really wished I had read the reviews before I hired them. They do no return phone calls or emails and showing up to their office to speak with someone is a waste of time. The persons responsible for your case is always walking into a conference and no one else is available to speak with you. They go through staff members rapidly. Therefore, you never know who is handling your case. It is quite frustrating.

MADE APPT FOR FREE CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY; ATTORNEY NO SHOW. ASSISTANT SAID ATTORNEY (BUT SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHICH ONE)WOULD REVIEW MY PAPERS AND CALL FOR OUR FREE CONSULTATION, BUT IF i WAS IN A HURRY, LEAVE THE $1500 DEPOSIT TO GO AHEAD AND WE COULD START AS SOON AS ATTORNEY REVIEWED. I CALLED AND CALLE3D. FIRSST ONE ATTORNEY, THEN ANOTHER WOULD REVIEW. FINALLY SECOND ONE SAID I HAD NO CASE BUT THEY REFUSE TO REFUND RETAINER EVEN THOUGH THEY DID NOTHING FOR ME. THEY SENT ME A FORM LETTER - THEY MUST PRINT HUNDREDS - TO REFUSE TO RETURN MY MONEY. NO SUIT... NO RETAINER. SCAMMERS... CHEATS. NO WONDER THEY HAD TO CHANGE NAME AND MOST OF THEIR ATTORNEYS LEFT. BAD BAD GROUP.

No show seems deliberate so they scam you out of 1500 and you are stuck to them like glue

Btw they only use brand new attorneys who go to fl schools that are NOT credited in other states. Keep away

I paid $1500 for an uncontested divorce in August of 2015. Still nothing has been done! I paid the $450 court filing fee and still have gotten nowhere. I have called and left messages numerous times along with emails with no return correspondence. I have received several letters in the mail stating the attorney on my case is no longer with the firm. I was asked if I wanted that attorney to take my case with them or remain with KEL. If they take the case then I lose my $1500. I am filing a complaint with the bar.

They used to call themselves KEL, changed name to lawyer asap. Scam, scam, rip off, like everybody I 've read about, taken my money, lied to me everything about bankruptcy and when I realized what was going on, I called asked a cancellation and a refund but they 've been stoling on me, saying refund it takes 8 weeks to process. I've waited now more than 8 weeks and lied again sent me a letter denial. Which I never received, plus I 've called millions of time they never return calls or they just give a run around. GUY PLEASE LETS PICKET THESE SCAMMERS.Am angry I 've been asking for my refund last 3 month and I was with then for only 2 weeks.

My case was an easy one, I just needed them to settle the payment with creditor company. It usually takes couple of calls... but KEL took their sweet time... For First 3 month I only got one reply from them after calling and trying to reach my lawyer for a month! They were saying my lawyer was fired and they gave my case to another person... I never could reach anyone! They always transferred my calls, nobody answered, I left million messages but no one replied
Their service is terrible! They collected my money during 4 month until I finally reached my very new lawyer by some miracle! She made 2 calls and settled everything for me in one week. Her name is Carolina. She was the only one who helped me somehow...
But then I was trying to reached her for 2 weeks to cancel the contract with KEL... Which really disappointed me again. It seemed they were ignoring me again to get a chance to collect another payment
Don't ever hire this law firm!
They re super dishonest, unresponsible and don't care about their clients.

So this is my fault for not researching these guys better. However he is my story that is so similar to many more

Paid them to represent us against a mechanic shop that took our money but didn't fix the vehicle. Just like the mechanic shop they took our money but never represented us.

We followed up every week for almost 3 months. We finally asked for our money back. We were then told it was their right to keep the money, but would "review" our case within 8 WEEKS. Of course we got no response and to date have not received our money back.

My wife and I hired K. E. L. To represent us in a case. We were assigned a lawyer that we felt good about but before the court date he and several other they assigned us subsequently were no longer with the firm. On court date no lawyer from K. E. L. Showed up and the judge awarded the other side the case by default. When we tried to get K. E. L. To make it right, they wanted additional funding and for us to sign a form stating that they had represented us in good faith. It cost us everything we had, including our home.
If you are considering hiring them my suggestion is to run the other way as fast as you can.

KEL Attorneys lied. We faxed and e-mailed and mailed all our documents from August 2015 to March 2016. Isabella the paralegal lied and she did not forward our documents to Bankruptcy petition.
The Florida consumer protection act had hundreds of calls from debt collectors all cases had median $1000 calls. They paid bonuses to KEL employees not a percentage for us.
TWO weeks, then TWO weeks, then TWO weeks not Bankruptcy petition. We paid $1850 in mid 2015. We are going to sue for negligence and legal malpractice

My case was reviewed and taken by an experience attorney I felt comfortable with. Except on the day of the trial when it really counted he did not show up, instead they sent the most inexperience lawyer they could find. Needless to say I lost the case and now my home. While in trial the attorney did not say one word in my defense, not one word. I paid for a legal recorder the only thing that attorney stated was her name. I did not just pay you $2500 to say nothing... in my defense. When I called the law firm and asked what happened no body returned any of my phone calls. Just got the usual run around. If the Attorney I though that was supposed to represent me could not make it at least send me someone with experience.
