I ordered a bathtub that I needed for a house I was trying to get on the market. Order status said 20 in stock, delivery estimate 5-7 days. 11 days after I ordered, I called to get status since they had given me no update, and they had to check with the manufacturer, only to find out it would be another 2 weeks at least! Apparently the 20 in stock was incorrect, and I have to wait for them to make another one! Apparently that's the way they do business - send an order to a manufacturer, then no follow-up to see when your customer will get what they ordered until they complain.

Suggest never to purchase from these crooks. This company is a racket for scooping in customers with the products they offer online, providing pictures that do not look like the product you'll receive, and overcharging, and not making you whole when returning the product. I searched and searched online to finally end up on their website thinking I had finally found the product that matched my decorum perfectly. Little did I know that the product they pictured online looked nothing like the product I received in the mail. Upon contacting them to return the product, I find out they are just the middle man and the product doesn't even come from them. They just represent the distributor. So in order to return any items they take 20% off top from the price of your item, then charge you a $15 processing fee for the return. They do not provide return shipping costs to get the item back to them, so you have to come out of pocket for the shipping costs as well. Their return policy is that you use the same packaging it came in and add insurance to cover any damages or lost items during shipping. I spent $73 for the item plus a $9 handling fee and taxes of $6 on the item I purchased from them. So a total of $88 spent to purchase. It cost me $60 to ship it back to them for the return. So a total spent of $88 plus $60 equaling $148. So with their fees added for the return, I will be lucky to get back maybe $43. Did you get all that, I spent $148 and I may get back $43. What kind of b/s is that? How does that make me whole as a customer? And what's almost more unbelievable is that the product was a toilet brush! What they sent me I could've went down to Bed Bath & Beyond or some brick & mortar and spent about $20 for something similar or better! So I suggest never to order from these rip off artists. They are not concerned about the customer and it shows by their extremely overpriced items and their non-customer friendly return policy. They're customer service is archaic at best and completely outdated. Had I ordered from Amazon, I would have never experienced any of the issues I experienced with this company. So please, as a warning of caution, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM KITCHEN & BATH AUTHORITY!

So far, my experience has been great. But there is one part of the delivery process needs improvement because it doesn't match the emails and guidance I get from KB Authority. In the emails, KB Authority says I need to open and inspect the box before I sign for the delivery from the shipping company. However, when I tried to do that, the delivery person said that they are only responsible for any exterior damage showing on the box and even if something is broken inside the box, that is KB Authority's responsibility. So they would not stay for me to unbox. I was only allowed to take a picture of the outside and then sign the delivery.

There is a mismatch in what KB Authority indicates vs the policy from the shippers they use. This needs to be worked out and the communication to customers needs to adjust accordingly.

The prices were excellent, and I would buy from them again **simply based on prices**. However, the delivery time when I ordered showed 7-10 days... but it actually took over a month. The extra time was not an issue, but what frustrated me was the lack of any status update or tracking number/data from KBAuthority. When my order finally arrived, I found the box had been extremely poorly taped by the shipper, and was nearly open. Luckily, the ordered items were intact within the shipping box, and in perfect new condition. If you want great prices and can live with the third-rate delivery program, you'll likely end up happy and with a good deal.
