Relax with Max
August 18, 2025

The workshop video and the tips emailed regularly have been very useful. I have noticed a change in Max in a very short time; calmer and relaxed. A commitment to a 10 week program is just beyond me at the moment. Very good program I would highly recommend.

I have two dogs, but only one made it into the workshop—no hard feelings though! I've been using what I learned with both of them and already see improvements after just two days. The training method is so simple even my dogs can follow it, and given their limited prior training (thanks to my old crazy work schedule), I'm optimistic this will work wonders. The trainers break it all down: the how, the why, and even how much time to commit—it's like dog training for dummies, but for humans too! I highly recommend giving it a shot.

K9 Training Institute provides great advice on traing your dog. They cover different methods, how different breeds respond (and why) to different methods and how to incorporate those methods into your training program. Dogs are not robots (or "people") and respond to prompts differently. An entire toolbox in needed to get the desired results. There is an old saying "Happy wife, happy life"... but "well behaved dog, happy life" is very important too. Well trained, obedient dogs are fun to be around. They are a pleasure to have in your home and are welcome members to the community you live in due to their good behavior. A dog without behavior problems is less likely to end up in the pound or in rescue. Signs in businesses that say "Dogs Not Welcome" are usually not there for the well behaved dog. They are there for the ill-mannered ones.

House broken in 1 week!
August 15, 2025

A week and a half ago I rescued a male Shih Tzu mix while I was off work for the week. He's 4 years old and was not house broken. I was concerned because I work full-time 4 days per week and was worried he would not use the dog door to go outside on his own when I was at work. I signed up for the free mini training tips email, followed the instructions and before I had to return to work Bruno was going through the dog door and into the back yard to potty on his own. I had told him that if he was unable to figure out how to go outside when he needed to or wanted to that I might have to return him to his foster home. He listened! I have not awakened in the morning or returned home in the evening to a single oopsie in the house so far. I'm thrilled.

Great start
August 14, 2025

I'm fostering a puppy for 10 days. I'm exhausted! I found the free training on line and WOW. Ill take anything I can get to help transition this little nugget into a well trained puppy. Learning about the 4 quadrants of training proved very helpful especially when she nips. Thanks for sharing and for those who plan on training a dog especially one that can be supportive to its owner this is a great teaching tool.

Best advice ever
August 14, 2025

I watched a short video from canine training. Can I put what I learned to work that every day I have five dogs and when I learned work immediately. My neighbor knocked at the door and I had explained to her what to do. It was amazing. They didn't jump on her. She walked to my kitchen counter, not paying attention to the dogs. No pets on the heads no greetings she turned around and they were all sitting in front of her. It was amazing and then they got the rewards. Everybody got pets nobody jumped. I was so impressed.

Value Packed
August 12, 2025

I've signed up for numerous "free" webinars on dog training with promises of value. None have actually delivered anything truly useful until this. I found the K9 Institute video engaging, fun AND incredibly helpful, with training tips that were immediately transformative. Thank you for walking your talk! Highly recommend.

This workbook has been of great help. A lot of free information which is awesome and I like that you start with body language then add verbal commands. Still working my way through but this has been a great asset.
