This is my 2nd purchase from the site and I purchased the Jesse and Remy style boots. I placed the order on 10/21 and it arrived 10/25. I ordered a size 7 and the website said that the boots were true to fit. I would beg to differ. I had on footies and tried the boots on and they are very narrow and tight across the top of the foot. I may exchange them for a 7.5 But other than that the boots are very stylish and were packaged great. I definitely will continue to purchase from justfab.com
I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this but this is the way I feel...
If you buy from websites based in China, Nigeria, Congo, Namibia, Iran, Syria, etc etc... a good rule of thumb is don't buy technology (phones, computers, cars etc...) and food (baby food, formula etc...).
If you buy anything at all... buy cheap plastic things like cd holders and make sure they aren't priced over $5. This goes for palm reading too.
Also when you order from places like this don't give them a credit card number otherwise you will be overcharged. Use something safer like a disposable credit card that only has $5 of credit.
PS. Don't order more than one item at a time that way your never out more than $5.
Horrible across the board! I order 2 pairs of shoes and they automatically signed me up for VIP and I thought "Well I guess I'll give it a try and I'll cancel if I don't like the shoes." I received a prompt order confirmation stating that my order would be shipped within 2 days. Okay 3 days later I'm still waiting and I haven't received an email saying sorry for the delay nothing and on the website it says you won't be charged until the item ships - I was charged immediately. So I called the "customer service line" and the said I wanted to cancel my monthly membership as I didn't want to sign up for it in the first place and I think more than 3 days to process 2 pairs of shoes is ridiculous - if it was Amazon or Zappos I would have received them already. The lady told me that their processing time is 7-10 business days (are you crazy?) and proceeded to completely ignore what I wanted and tell me about their services and sell me on other stuff and give them another chance. I know that no site wants you to cancel but even after I got mad she wouldn't just listen to me and cancel - it took 5 times of me saying "You're not listening I just want to cancel" before she would process my cancel - unacceptable! Then she goes ahead and cancels my order without my asking about that - my order and my "subscription" or whatever are 2 separate things. Their confirmation was an outright lie and their customer service is abominable
My daughter joined site without realising money would be taken each month and is having a lot of trouble stopping it. She is given a number to ring which is permenantly engaged and I notice when bad reviews go up on this site someone from the company puts up a new one. Don't touch them with a bargepole. She even tried to use her credit and was told she'd ordered the 'wrong' shoes.
Just fab owes me £105. I haven't been in the UK for the whole summer and when I came back to track my payments I realized that they have been taking £35 every month without my knowledge. I didn't even know that we had to pay for a membership. If I knew that the membership is £35 every month to buy low quality shoes i would have never signed up. This is a total scam. I suggest you make it clear to your costumers that you're gonna keep on taking monthly transactions from their account before they sign up. Because if it were clear to them, 'Just Fab' wouldn't have 554 complaints. I sincerely hope for a lawsuit to be filed against this company, causing them to lose millions. I have blocked their account from my bank but I do hope I get my money back.
Just Fab,
If you want costumer loyalty that's not the way to get it. You lost thousands of costumers because of your awful scam. Just know that your little online shop can easily be replaced.
Normally I do not purchase items from subscription websites, however I needed a pair of inexpensive riding boots to test out (since I've never owned any) before I invested in a designer pair. Unfortunately you have to pay for shipping if you're in Alaska and it took TWO WEEKS to get the boots. I order online a LOT and two weeks is far too long to wait when I've paid for shipping. The boots are attractive, however a little hard and uncomfortable. Luckily I had a set of gel-inserts on hand and that's helped. They're okay boots, but they won't last long. I wasn't expecting them to, so this low rating isn't necessarily about the boots. Continue reading.
Today I was charged another $39.99 or whatever the fee is. I decided since they already charged me I may as well get a pair of heels on "Credit" and be done with the company. I checked out their website and was immediately annoyed when I saw that to cancel the membership you need to call Just Fab. *If a customer can become a member online, without calling, they should be able to cancel a membership without calling.*
I called the 1-866 number and spoke with "Emily". I verified my information and immediately told her I wanted to cancel. She started reading from a script and I said, "Ma'am, I am at work and I don't have time to sit here and listen to this. I just need to cancel the account." She said "Okay" AND THEN KEPT READING. I said, "Ma'am, just cancel it.". Again, total disregard and kept reading her script, offering me free "credits", changing my status, etc. Finally, she cancelled the damn thing.
This is completely unacceptable and I will NEVER order from this company again.
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS CON WEBSITE! I ORDERED A PAIR OF BOOTS THAT TURNED UP & ARE THE MOST VILE BOOTS & I THINK I COULD HAVE MADE THEM BETTER MYSELF. ANYWAY I CALLED TO REFUND, ALL OKAY. 3 WEEKS LATER & STILL NO REFUND & NOTICED A £35.00 AMOUNT TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT. I DID NOT SIGN UP TO A 'VIP' ACCOUNT. WHAT A CON THIS COMPANY IS. I HAVE CALLED & THEY GAVE ME TO SPILL OF I NEED TO BE A MEMEBER BLAH BLAH BLAH. THEY HAVE SAID THEY ARE REFUNDING. LETS HOPE SO. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS CON COMPANY
SO HERE S MY STORY. I FELT IN LOVE WITH ONE OF THEIR SHOES AND I PLACED THE ORDER, IGNORING ALL THE BAD REVIEW I SAW. IT S BEEN 7 DAYS NOW THAT THE ORDER HAS THE STATUS "PENDING". WHY THE F IS IT PENDING FOR? THEY TOLD ME IT TAKES 24 TO 48 HOURS FOR THE ITEM TO LEAVE THE WAREHOUSE... IT'S BEEN A WEEK NOW ILL LET YOU MAKE THE COUNT! I ASK FOR A REFUND, THEY TOLD ME SINCE I LIVE IN CANADA I CANNOT CANCEL THE ORDER WHAT THE HELL? BASICALLY I CANT CANCELL MY ORDER, BUT I M NOT HAVING THE ITEM I PAID FOR EITHER! LADIEESS TRUST ALL THOSE BAD REVIEW IT IS REAL! THANK GOD IT WAS ONLY A 30$ PURCHASE I CAN LIVE WITHOUT IT. BUT NOW ON I M GONNA SPREAD IT ALL OVER THE WEB. IM REALLY DISAPOINTED! JUST FAB SUCKS AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!
I ordered the BOGO shoes. I really enjoyed my purchase, however one month later I noticed a 39.95 charge. "VIP Membership". HELL NO. I called to cancel it, and the persistent rep said "well you should have read the terms and conditions". I'm sorry, but I'm sure that 99% of people don't read 1000 words of terms and conditions. That should be in bold. BOLD AND RED. That's almost the price of a cell phone bill! THEN they asked me not once, not twice, but three times if I was sure I wanted to cancel my account. Do you think after the third time I'm going to change my mind? I feel bad that this company makes their reps hassle the customer over the phone to stay with the membership. What a rip off. The shoes are not worth the 30 minute wait on the phone.
I refuse to do business with this company again and all I want is a refund of the money they took from me. I tried to cancel and they told me the only way to get a refund is to stay and continue my membership. I did and then forgot to cancel the next month. This is a ripoff. No government check but I have 39.95 for a pair of shoes. I guess my feet won't be cold. Do not get involved with this company. You can go to the big box store and not have the issue I am having. Next time big box store for me.
Beware! I learned about the monthly $39.95 credit charge to be used on future purcahses. Ok i accepted. Read the Terms of Service from top to bottom which also identifies VERBATUM " Credits have no cash value and can only be redeemed toward purchasing an item". This month I allowed the $39.95 credit to be charged to my credit card. I went online to look through items i liked only to find a pair of shoes for $29.95 perfect great i was sold. I tried to purchase with my credit, only to find out that the $39.95 credit can not be used towards purchases other than $39.95.
I called the company pretty irritated, reading to them word for word their OWN terms of service. Initially i was pretty my SOL based on what the customer service advisor told me that they would increase the price of the $29.95 pair of shoes to $39.95in order for the credit to work! I held my ground and escalated for her to consult her manager. She came back offering to refund my monthly credit of $39.95 and therefore selling me the shoes for the price listed on the website for $29.95.
Overall be careful when you are purchasing for this website.! And READ the TERMS OF SERVICE.
TERRIBLE. They did not inform me that they were going to charge me. I called in and spoke with somewhat rude and condescending sales reps who were just interested in getting me to keep my membership, which I NEVER intended to have in the first place. Very upsetting experience overall. I tried to have my membership cancelled TWICE now... we'll see how it goes. :( NOT PLEASED.
I'm appalled by the number of people giving bad reviews because THEY failed to read the Terms & Conditions, and how the program works. I've been a member since they began (basically started with them two weeks after the company launched!). No, I'm not an employee or a paid agent/rep. I'm simply a customer who took the time to read what I was signing up for BEFORE giving out my credit card info online. And it shocks me that people go two, three or more months without even monitoring their credit card or bank statements! I've purchased over 165 items from them and ALL have been great quality and value for the price. People can't say they sell 'cheap' items because they have even carried Jessica Simpson, Abby Dawn, Iron Fist and other designer items at great prices. I don't know what some people here expect for a $39.95 price, but it sure is not going to get you a Valentino pair of shoes! Their quality and designs are great for the price. You just have to take responsibility to read and understand what you are signing up for, you are not required to buy every month, and all you have to do is log into your boutique every month between the 1st and the 5th and click the 'Skip the month' button, THAT'S ALL! In Feb 2014 will be my 4th year with them and I couldn't be happier!
Well I have read the reviews on this sight and lots of people are not giving it full credit. You will NOT be automatically enrolled into a VIP membership if you simply click "checkout as regular member" which is located to the right of the checkout lane. I have just ordered a pair of boots and sneakers and they look amazing! I have joined as a VIP member but will be canceling my account in like a month or two so I don't forget to skip a month and be charged 30 bucks for it. My advise on justfab.com is to go for it! Just know what your getting into. I don't usually read the terms and agreements but my older brothers wife said that she didn't read it closely enough and she is now a VIP member so I started freaking out like I didn't know if I was gonna be charged until I did a little research. This site is safe and, well, cool
What I'm getting from a lot of these reviews is that a lot of you don't know how to read. It is laid out VERY clearly when you join that if you don't "skip" by the 5th of each month, you will be billed $39.95. But it's not lost money, folks... it goes to a credit that you can use to purchase shoes. So yes, you DO get charged $39.95 per month if you don't "skip" ordering that month by a certain date... but it's not like it's a membership fee... you actually can use it for goods.
I have ordered several pairs of shoes and several purses and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, I'm sending my first return now, but the customer service representative (Dana) was very helpful and all I have to do is slap the return label on and drop it off at the post office. Since I *do* take the time to read the fine print, I'm clear on the $5.95 restocking fee. $6 loss or $40 pair of boots that don't fit? Seems like an easy choice, IMO
I'm sorry, but maybe now it's clearly indicated that it's a monthly membership... But it wasn't when I signed up. Even if It was I didn't see it... People make mistakes. I didn't notice for 4 months I was being charged 40$ a month! So I thought ohh I'll just call them and clear this up! NO they were rude and unprofessional. First the one girl pretended to be the manager, until she finally gave the phone to another rude employee who basically told me I wasn't getting my money back!
The only thing I could do was buy 4 pairs of crappy shoes... They are cheaply made, make your feet hurt in about 10 minutes... They are worth about 15-20$. The styles okay, but I couldn't even look at them I donated them as soon as I got them shipped. What a terrible company, even if it was in HUGE writing saying that I get charged monthly, I didn't realize, I wasn't getting the product they were offering... Why couldn't they just refund me?! They are only in business because they refuse to refund people. It seems criminal to me. Go to a discount store if you want a pair of cheap plastic heals. At least they aren't a scam.
I bought a gorgeous pair of shoes for 40$. I was aware of the VIP membership as it is CLEARLY INDICATED on several pages as you head to the checkout. I simply cancelled my membership before I was charged any additional charges. For the people who are complaining about the membership - it's not even "small print", it's part of what you agree to when you buy from them. They're not at fault, you are.
So i ordered some lovely boots from just fab. Great boots, great quality and everything. Until i realised i was now signed up to a monthly VIP account where if i didnt purchase something every month i was going to a charged £35. Being a student i can not afford to pay for new shoes every month and especially not £35 a month! I had to ring up to cancel my account which costs due to it being an 0800 number. Its safe to say as much as the boots are great i will not be ordering from this website again and if others choose to i would advise going for the pay as you go subscription, the shoes may be more expensive but atleast you wont get charged £35 a month!
Literally, all i wanted was a catalog so i could order. The website wont let me navigate anywhere, even when i tried logging in at home.
The first rep i got told me straight up "NO" when i asked for a catalog. And then hung up on me. I tried giving them the benefit of doubt, but the second call was a hang up as well, right after he told me i must order first to get one. I thought to myself, well maybe they are having weird issues and need to apparently TRAIN their reps. NOT. The third rep CHRIS told me that she could help me and apologized for the hang ups. But at this point, I didn't want another hang up, so i asked for a MANAGER. SEVEN TIMES. Its like they knew their "customer service" was crap, so she tried steering me away from talking to someone above her. What happened? She tells me "okay, one moment" and I'm hold for the longest time. Finally i hear a dial tone. Another hang up. 3 times. Really? I call back one last time and spoke to JACK and of course, he tried steering me away from a manager too. Least this time, I had to ask twice for a manager. I get the Supervisor, PHIL. Do you think he helped me? NOPE. I asked for a catalog, told him the site doesn't work and would like to order. He then says he will take my order over the phone. Totally not listening. " Mind you, I JUST told him, I CANNOT SEE THE SELECTION. He then feels the need to correct me and say "its nota catalog, its a magazine" but i had to order to get one. HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO DO THAT IF THE SITE NEVER WORKS? He was just like the reps. I literally felt like these people were just pulling a prank on me.
Should have read all of these reviews first. I am aware of website like these but never have I had to call to cancel. I thought I would be able to do this online like many other websites. As many other before I had to go in circles to try and get to cancel my account and both times I called I was "disconnected." Someone else mentioned this in their review so I thought that was fishy. They obviously want to keep trying to call and eventually give up thus keeping your membership. One lady also suggested that I set an alarm on my phone to remind me to skip?!?!? Really? They must be pretty desperate to make such outrages suggestions. I also canceled my orders that were linked to the account so hopefully I wont have any charges since I caught this all very quickly. I also canceled my orders because as I continued to read about justfab many people stated that the quality and fit are poor and I did not want to deal with more bad customer service if I had to return items. But I will definitely be keeping any eye on my bank account as many people stated that they were charged even though they called and canceled. Stay away unless you have money burn.
Answer: Then sweety, I would cancel your card asap and call your bank for fraudulent charges. The bank will move forward with an investigation of fraud and if I am correct, and if your bank is not a bunch of!&$&?, then they will credit your account. However make sure you have your cancellation VIP membership number handy, the exact date you canceled your VIP membership, the verification number of your cancellation that justfab gave you, and your card number justfab has linked to your old VIP membership, and lastly, FLAG ANY CHARGES justfab makes on your account with date stamps. I know it seems like a lot of hoop jumping, but this is what your bank will ask you when they send you to the fraud department, and they will ask you all of the above. I wish you the best of luck!
Answer: They take out every month. You can skip any and all months just have to remember to do it. 1-866-337-0906 This is the number I was given if ever needing to cancel or have questions.
Answer: From the 1st to the 5th of every month, you can go to "Your Boutique" and FOR THOSE DAYS ONLY you can click on the SKIP button and skip the month. You can do this as long as you like. OR just call Customer service and cancel. I've never had any problems. They've been impressively helpful. As for the money already, either talk to Customer Service or use it toward a purchase... some fun boots maybe? If you can't find the SKIP button, call Customer Service.
Answer: I just tried the same exact thing. I was told that if I canceled my membership they would cancel the order that I placed. So now I am waiting till I get my shoes so I can cancel the membership... which makes absolutely no sense. If I'm going to cancel anyway, why not be able to do it now?
Answer: I called in to cancel my account and the man on the phone told me it was canceled. I have been reading these reviews about employees lying so I went on the website to check. He did not explain to me that the phone call doesn't cancel the membership, just unlocks the option. So my answer to you is 1. Go to your account. 2. Click cancel. 3. State reason why and 4. Submit it. You should receive an email saying you will no longer be charged. Of course you cannot trust these people so for extra protection I suggest you call your bank, request these payments be blocked, and it they ask provide proof that you canceled. Good luck.
Answer: Make a Small Claims Court claim online. That's how I got my money back..
