Last year I ordered two sets of real wood blinds for two apartments. Great! Everything arrived and fit. This year new order, valances too short and outside valance mount was broken. No hardware available to hold down the blinds on the doors. Customer service said there is no hardware available from this new vendor so... too bad for me! I have at least two more apartments that need blinds and I am not getting them from here.
Charged my card immediately for overnight shipping for samples. 5 days later, no samples. Offered. A credit, no credit. Asked for email confirmation of credit. No email but they said they sent it. Lie! Asked for tracking. No tracking available. I would never order blinds from this compnay. They are clearly diahonest and shady. Look elsewhere.
I've used Just Blinds for over 15 years and 3 houses since they were a small ugh quality company in Texas. Perhaps they've been sold? This is not the same quality product anymore. -- Having made a recent order in October for cellular shades, I am now on my 3rd set of shades as all the others kept breaking. They're great about replacing broken products but I'd rather is just work. Shipping replacements takes 1 month so that's 1 month with a blanket on the window. I have shades from them that are 10 years old that have never once malfunctioned. Its so sad to see the quality gone.
The 4 premium wood blinds I purchased in April get 5 stars. The ones I purchased 8 months later get zero starts. I thought I was purchasing the same product. However, they "made it easier" for customers by offering a lesser product as their best. They arrived so smelly that they could not stay in the room due to fumes emitted from them. I hung them in garage - 7 blinds - to outgas. After a week, no change in fumes. I did get all of my money back after I talked to them. This is good customer service. However the product is bad for health and indoor air quality. If they offer the premium blinds again, that would make buying from this company worthwhile.
Were more than i expected for the price that paid. If i wanted to pay thousands of dollars for quality blinds, would have gone to Blinds R Us, too much money for blinds for me
If I could leave a quarter star I would. That quarter would be for free shipping and that's it. Garbage. I honestly think this company is a scam. From the start we ordered our blinds- blackout for kids' rooms- and while they said shipped on Dec 29 they didn't actually get picked up until Jan 12, and another couple of weeks to deliver. Total BS. Then they didn't fit. Not width and not length AND we followed their specifications. Did you know their instructions say the manufacturer shaves a "small amount" from he blinds? We did- no big deal. Factored in except they took off a whole half inch from each blind's width. That's a lot. Not blackout anymore. And the length was too short. So when we called customer service they said they have it on their website that the manufacturer shaves off a small amount, so all they can do for us is offer 20% discount on our next order. Excuse me? The 20% they always offer to anyone who sneezes near their website? BS. So we talked to their escalation department. Same story except this time she tells me the manufacturer takes a half inch off. Well that would have been nice to know. Why isn't that on the website? Long story short- they refused to refund/replace so we are now in dispute with the credit company to get our money back. As for the blinds we received, not only do they not fit but they are complete garbage. For the price we paid I expected quality. No. They are awful. Do not use this company, I beg you. Do not make the same mistakes we did. We got screwed, but you don't have to. It is my mission to make sure this company gets what they deserve after our experience.
Do not order from this company! SCAM $500 loss
I ordered $500 worth of blinds they sent me whatever color they felt like not even close to the colors they had on their site. Customer service is rude! I went on their website to compare colors from what I ordered verses what I received. They don't even offer the colors I have anymore? I wonder why... SCAM Refuse to return my order. Now I am stuck with $500 black blinds that were supposed to be blue.
Had great shades from them in the past. Then they changed vendors and the products changed. I ordered 6 shades expecting the same as my prior orders, cordless shades with a nice handle and I received clip on cheap plastic handles. This was for a second home so By the time I installed them and realized that they are crap the 30 day guarantee was over, and they could care less that I wasn't happy. Btw 2 of them don't work - they are standing by the 3 year warranty of mechanic failure, that's away nice of them
Ordered a roller shade, it came in an inch less in width than the 22.5" width I specified. CS said read ordering instructions, shades are going to be a "tad" less than ordered. One inch on 22.5" is not a "tad"!? How hard is it to state on the site when you are specifying dimensions to add a fixed amount to the desired width? CS would only offer a discount on another blind. She also offered to send me the ordering instructions. Thanks. Thanks a lot. It was a $32 blind, neither is going to go broke about it, but losing my business over that is a poor way to run a company. I need to replace hundreds of dollars of blinds in my home, and now they will not get my future business nor would I ever recommend them. Caveat Emptor.
Many problems. The track for my vertical blinds is horrible and the blinds are nearly impossible to slide. They are sending a replacement track but I haven't received it and don't know if it will work. One of my horizontal blinds arrived significantly damaged and they made it a big issue to replace it and could not do it quickly, so I got a refund and am using a better blind company. There are so many blind company options, do not use JustBlinds. The blinds are crap and so is the service.
The blinds themselves looks good. I dislike that the valance sticks out so much from the headrail. Know that if you are looking up at the blinds you will see this. It doesn't look great. The instructions that accompanied the blinds were wrong. They missed their shipping date and refused to 2 day it even though it was their error. They said it would come damaged that way?
My disappointment is really with the measurement. I ordered them over the phone to make sure I knew the measurements. I was told to give him the final finished measurements, which I did. He neglected to tell me that he was going to tack on the valance which would add more with to my measurement. This now doesn't fit in my window.
Even more disappointing is the fact that they won't fix their mistake. They will give me a 20 percent discount on my next order. I will go elsewhere.
I spent $500 on cellular shades for my living room windows less than one year ago. The cord on the third of five shades has just broken. They are obviously of inferior quality. If you are buying shades to install and never open, they'll be fine. However, if you like to let daylight into your home, stay away. Do NOT buy top-down, bottom-up shades from this company. They won't hold up.
We purchased cellular shades for 4 windows. They fit perfectly thanks to our measuring 4 times each window. However, no hardware was included. I called and asked for 12 screws with anchors (after all, they were listed as components in the installation instructions). Also had to ask for the 2 handles that should have been with the shades. My confirmation email assured me 12 brackets and 2 handles were being shipped. I had to correct the email that I needed screws/anchors, NOT brackets. They corrected the order and told me anchors weren't included and I had to purchase them. Maybe they should take the anchors OFF the provided components list if they aren't going to include them. But, having installed them ourselves with our own hardware, they DO look Nice. I might try them in the future if I needed more of their products.
I have ordered two cellilar blinds from them and neither one held up. The one with a pull string has broken twice, they replaced the first one at no charge and now are offering me another replacement for the second time but refuse to refund my money because I a now past the limit of time allowed for a refind so I will have to look forward to going through this hassle every year to replace my blind when the strings dont hold up. The second blind was a cordless and it wouldnt stay up, I requested my money back and I was told I would have to donate my blind to a local charity and submit a receipt before I would be given a refund, by the time I went through through all that process and waited for my refund we went without a blind on our window for a month! Save yourself the pain and dont order from this company. I got a replacement blind for the cordless from Lowes at the same cost and much much better quality!
We ordered 5 products at once, one of which hasn't arrived after 3 weeks now. One of the products ordered could not be filled as they no longer carried desired fabric. Roman shade was nice and easy to install. Roller shades on the other hand... the instructions are sparse and are definitely not thorough enough to even make a good guess on what goes where. Fast forward 1 hour, one fight with husband and 3 Internet videos (none of which were adequate due to difference in mounting mechanism), shade is sitting on the couch.

Don't even try to get fair treatment from this company. I ordered a standard "stock size" blind made in China and tried to return it. They refused saying it was custom made. Get real, just blinds!
I just had an interaction with Just Blinds customer service that left me blown away - i wasn't even asking for a replacement, was just asking if they could make another version of a 2 year old blind that had started to come apart (that i was going to pay for) and they turned around and replaced and shipped it for free! I actually think that's phenomenal customer service. The quality of the thinner material blinds is a little flimsy (i've ordered more substantive/thicker blinds from them that are way better quality) so i'd suggest, one get what one pays for.
Over the years I have put 2" wood blinds on nearly every window in my house. I like the look, and they never seem to go out of style. In the past, I had always used Hunter Douglas blinds. In my opinion, they are the gold standard for this product.
Recently I finally got around to redoing my last two bedrooms. Only now I find out that Hunter Douglas must have changed their policies. You can only order their blinds from "decorators." In the past, I had been able to order them online and install them myself. I refuse to pay some decorator for something I am quite capable of doing myself. So sorry, HD, you're out! Personally I think this is dumb business decision on their part, but what can I do?
This left me with limited choices. However, I rolled the dice and ordered these wood blinds from Just Blinds. They arrived yesterday and I installed them last night, and I am quite pleased. While not quite the exact quality as HD (ergo my 4 star, rather than 5 star rating), they are pretty good and certainly worth the price. They were packaged well and included all mounting hardware, including screws. And they fit perfectly.
I am more than happy with my purchase, and they are certainly worth the price paid. The key test, of course, will be how they hold up over time. Some of my Hunter Douglas blinds are probably close to 20 years old and they look and function like new. If these hold up the same, I would easily consider upgrading my rating to 5 stars.
I'm surprised at the mixture of reviews of this company. My experience was quite positive and I would recommend them.
