While never receiving an answer that resolved my problem/question, I did get charged the initial $5, follow-on charge of $19 (all during Nov 2017). Now on 1 Jan 2018 a new charge for $34 has appeared on my charge card. As stated, though I never did receive a response resolving my issue, I did receive multiple requests from my assigned "expert" to raise my rating of his provided support. I've contacted my bank to dispute the new charge, and my advise to any/all thinking about using this service to stay away. Frankly am shocked/surprised/questioning all the positive reviews.
I was on a Mayo Clinic web site and saw answers were available 24/7/365. I joined, asked a medical question about my daughters illness. They connected me to a VETERINARIAN,! Save your money. This place is at least a joke and possibly fraudulent because of redirection from a respected medical institution.

Four (4) hours ago I contacted this service to answer a simple question - i. E., how to turn off the block of my tel# on Google Voice.
Not only did I NOT get an answer from the supposed "expert", the "expert" and this "service" was attempting to scam me into paying more than $5.
ALSO, upon calling back to speak to a supervisor for help, I have had no answer in the last three hours. Indeed, upon calling once again after 4 hours and receiving the same clerk telling me that the supervisor has been "too busy" for the last two hours to call me - he has the audacity to tell me the supervisor will get back to me in the next 24 hours - even tho' it is only 7:51PM Pacific Time now.
This site is deliberately misleading in its advertising and billing, and provides no real service.
I have alerted my credit card company to this false billing and will reject any charge.
I will also report this incident to the Better Business Bureau and will file "BEWARE - DO NOT TOUCH JUSTANSWER.com" on any review sites I can find.
Shame on JustAnswer for this manipulation, dishonesty and total lack of service.

Ligit business and i personally wanted to talk rather than text. He really gave me the second opinion i needed without another doctor in office visit. All is good now and yes it was an upper resperatory/ mono that we were dealing with. It was a simple switch of antibiotics to treat the specific bacteria as your doctor indicated but ours did not. Had problems with Outlook 2010 after creating a duplicate account to change from POP3 to IMAP. Outlook would not connect to the server. Did part of the fix as directed by JustAnswer tech, then had him get on the computer remotely. He got it all working just fine and it is stable. Thanks JustAnswer.
Although I have raised rescued St. Bernards for 40 years, I have never had one eat a mechanical pencil and swallow the pieces. The assistance proved from Dr Kara helped me quiet my fears until she could pass (the dog Moo, not Dr Kara) the pieces. It has been over 9 days and i still have not seen any red plastic pieces but I did have dinner with 2 vets and asked them. They said Dr Kara's advice was good so could sleep. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
